I really like their service! They have a Voltswagon specialist there, so they can work on my car. I have used them many times since buying the Big Deal.

I had poor service here a couple of years ago. I recently posted a C grade review based on that service after I got an email from Angie's List asking for more reviews of some businesses. After I posted that review the NEW owner contacted me and asked for more information as to my dissatisfaction. After explaining my concerns he offered me a free oil change. I accepted the oil change and also had them install a new headlight. Both were performed quickly. I paid for the tax and headlight replacement. Service was quick and friendly and their waiting room was clean and well-stocked with treats, coffee and hot water. They have a small child's playroom that my daughter and her friend enjoyed. Given the change of owner (Peter told me he's owned it for 3 months) I would definitely return to this establishment.

Awful experience. Upon dropping car off, I explained I had it to the local Toyota dealership where there informed me I needed new struts and bushings in the rear end at a cost of around $950. My personal experience lead me to agree with this and Honest 1 felt the price was high, and I wouldn't need to replace the shocks. Perfect. So I thought. Honest 1 told me I would need to replace the front and rear bushings, as well as the sway bar links. At a cost of around $750. Still, cheaper than the original estimate, so I preceded. After this was done, I received a phone call from Honest 1, and was told that I did need to replace the rear struts at a price of $950. This was the original reason why I was in, and they told me it was not needed. The mark up on parts is out of this world ridiculous. Their shop rates rival a dealership. There is no reason I would ever use this shop ever again. Speaking with the owner Peter, brought zero relief to the anxiety of the high prices and not getting my issues I stated upon arrival solved. Everything was summed up to me by the shop telling me this is just how it is sometimes. Leaving the shop, I was absolutely not happy with anything they did for me.

They consistently point out things that need fixing but give me a good time frame on when to make the repairs. Their prices are fair and I've never had issue with the work that they have performed. The waiting room is nice and they provde rides to work/home incase you are leaving the car for the day. Everyone in my household uses them for their oil changes and repairs.

We had gotten an estimate from the dealership first, and their estimate was 1600.00 more with them wanting to replace both front wheel ball joints versus H1 telling us that only one needed replacing. They were very honest and affordable, and even provided a car for us for 2 days free of charge. I use this company now for regular maintenance and I know they will be my first stop for any future car problems.

Fantastic service, fair price! We will definitely use this company again. They have gained our trust and loyalty and we have recommended them to several friends already.

My heat in my 98 Toyota Sienna minivan started going out in Dec, and finally quit in January. I was looking for a mechanic since I was tired of going to the dealer and found Honest-1. They got me in right away, and gave me an estimate within the hour (cracked radiator). Fixed within a day, and the heat is now working in my car. Did a little research on the cost of this repair, and their prices are definately better than the Toyota Dealer that I was going to. The thing that impressed me was when I was waiting, I overheard a conversation with another customer who sounded like they had multiple problems. The mechanic went over what should probably be fixed right away vs. things that can wait or do not really need to be fixed at all. This is the atmosphere I was looking for in a mechanic, not the high pressure, "you gotta fix it all" attitude. I will definately continue to bring my vehicle here.

Honest-1 honored my Angie's List coupon without problem and performed the work exactly as billed, and did so at the time for which the appointment was scheduled. The personnel at Honest-1 were friendly and knowledgable, and their waiting room was clean and nicely appointed.

Great work with options presented, but no pressure to buy more services. Great staff and the best service center waiting area I've been in with free wi-fi, clean restroom, snacks and good coffee. Comfortable chairs too. Finally, I received a follow up voicemail checking to be sure I was happy with everything. Great service that I trust and will definitely return to.

I was satisfied that my care was ready for winter; however the work they said I should have done was not necessary.

This was a very good experience. It was pretty straightforward as far as providing the services. It's hard to define what would make one oil change better than another, other than being treated wonderfully! Obviously the cost was also good - $28 for synthetic oil change is unheard of! I would definitely use this company again. Your form asks when my house was built. This is totally irrelevant for this service but I couldn't submit this review without it. You may want to revisit this function on your form.

Well - was glad the vehicle was ready for the winter.

They are super. They have a pc there that you can us while you wait. I have found them extremely reliable and I just really like them. Competitive pricing.

They are good but a little pricey which is why I haven't gone back to them.

Purchased a Living Social deal. When I called to schedule the appointment Honest 1 took all my information (address - contact information) over the phone. When I got there they had to reenter all the information into their system. Not a bigger as it was not that much information. The gentleman behind the counter was very professional; I noticed the same with with the others that worked the counter. When my truck was done they pulled it out into the parking lot. It took the counter guy a while to get my invoice ready as he had to keep reentering the information for my truck for some reason. He then went over what was done and what they found during the inspection. He stated that I needed to change the transmission fluid as it was very dark in color and smelled burned. He suggested doing it as soon as possible. It would have been nice if he would have brought me out a sample to see/smell as I was sitting in the waiting area and asked if I wanted the work done then. He estimated the work to be $170.45. This is for synthetic transmission fluid and labor only. He did not quote me a new filter. Not sure if one is needed as the last transmission work was done 40,000 miles ago so I am assuming it is needed. (I called and received a quote matching his suggested work at $70 cheaper). He then proceeded to tell me that my AC belt was very worn and cracked and needed to be replaced. He was not able to put that on the estimate as they do not stock/sell the belts but labor he said would only be $15. Today (9.25.12) I took my truck to a Chev dealer as my "service tire" warning came on after having a flat tire a few months ago (I just hadn't gotten it fixed yet). A new tire sensor is needed. As I pulled in the dealer looked at the tires and then got his tire tread gage out. He told me I should consider new tires as these are badly worn - the right passenger practically has no tread left on the outer edge of the tire. I was really shocked to see this as I never go on the passenger side. He also indicated that my alignment must be off because of the way the tires wore. He indicated that I would really want new tires before the snow flies. I told him I just had the tires rotated last week and they didn't say anything to me about the condition of my tires or my wheel alignment. He said I should think about the tires and have the sensor replaced at the same time to save me money. He then went to look at the AC belt. He told me "if you really don't want this belt on here I will take it off and put it on my truck. It looks fine". Oh dear. Maybe Honest 1 told me the wrong belt - I wrote it on their estimate invoice as he was telling me about it. Labor to change at the dealership would be $55. The individuals at Honest 1 were all professional and very nice. I am just very surprised that they did not mention anything to me regarding the tires since they had to take all 4 off and put all 4 back on. Not sure what to think about the transmission fluid. Is it really that bad? It has been 40k miles...so possible.

I made an appointment about 1-2 weeks ahead, my truck was taken in shortly after I arrived and finished within the time they specified. I asked if there was anything else it needed, their response was that it looked in pretty good shape for an older truck.I asked if the full synthetic would be benificial (at an additional price) and they said it wouldn't be good for my vehicle. Very honest and did quality work.

I called Honest-1 at 7:15 a.m. and they said come right in, no appointment. I got in at about 8. One of the crew gave me a ride home.They called at around 10 with the diagnosis. The exhaust needed repair and a sensor had clogged. The repair would be done around 2. The truck was ready by 12:30. They sent someone to pick me up. The truck runs very well now. I forgot to print out the discount coupon so I lost a 10% discount. Not happy about that.

They're cheaper than dealerships I've dealt with. I've gotten fairly good work done and they have explained everything. They live up to their name of being honest.
