I met Ken Paeth at the 2009 Mpls Home & Garden Show in March. He was very helpful and patient! (I had met with 5 companies over the month of April... Ken was #2). Ken's knowledge of windows and what Champion had to offer were exactly what I was looking for. His professionalism was very apprecitated. (The only person I received a handwritten "Thank You" while I was still looking at other companies! Hey, so I'm old school) The first estimate Ken gave us was replacing the windows with the same (double hungs). Then we went down to Champion's showroom to see all their windows. That's when I called him for another estimate with casements and sliders. Regarding the windows: I really liked the sturdiness of the frames and the 365 Comfort Glass. I was impressed with the lifetime warranty with no fault (glass breakage, screens) replacement. Our final deciding factor was the 12 mo SAC financing (you bet I'd borrow someone elses $ when it is same as cash!) When we finally made our decision in early May, it pushed our install date out 6-8 weeks. That was our fault, but our research paid off. Above all, my new windows look great! Andy did a fantastic job with the caulking! I'm exremely pleased to go with the casements and slider, it has really opened up the window, now there is no more "bar" when I look out! Plus, they have proven "worthy" of the expense since the late afternoon sun exposure would heat up our home drastically... not anymore! Regarding the price, it was a bit spendy, but after a lot of research and comparison, it was very competitive. I have many more windows to do, and I will be definitely be call Ken!

They did a good job of installing the windows, but they removed a storm door by mistake and then denied that it happened.

They did a great job, and we will definitely use them again. The people were clean, prompt, and professional. We hardly knew they were there because they covered the carpet and floor and were so considerate and quiet.

We had an excellent experience with everyone from the company. The salesman was informative and helpful, the installation manager was responsive to questions, and the installation crew was competent, hard working, and finished the job on time. We were very pleased with the price as well as the quality and looks of the finished product.

Good. Sales was smooth, installation went well and final product is excellent. Follow up on servicing however has been less than optimum. 1 piece of rake board (at the gabled end) needed to be re-done and it was like pulling teeth. When the old gutters were taken off, the original gutter hangers were left in place, causing the existing shingles to stick up. Also, although they could have made a bit more money, they left the old, existing gutter board / drip edge in place, which was rusty. This should have probably been replaced. Although Scott from servicing has called me several times, no one has ever come out to remove the old gutter hangers; they are now being removed as a result of a roof replacement. Good company but too much follow up and too little follow through!

They installers were very nice and professional. They laid down paper to protect the carpeting and made sure to clean up any thing they left. We were pleased with their work.

CHAMPION STARTED THE WORK AT THE END OF AUGUST, 2004. IT IS NOW SEPT. 2005 AND WE HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO USE THE ROOM BECAUSE OF LEAKING AND VARIOUS OTHER PROBLEMS. WE ARE PROCEEDING WITH LEGAL ACTION.

THE PROJECT STARTED OUT FINE, BUT AFTER THE WALLS AND ROOF WERE INSTALLED THERE WAS A LEAK THAT WAS NEVER RESOLVED. DAN, THE PRIMARY WORKER, CAME OUT TWICE TO SEAL THE LEAKS, BUT IT DID NOT WORK. AFTER IT RAINED WE NOTICED WET SPOTS ON THE FLOOR IN SEVERAL AREAS. WE'VE CALLED HIS SUPERVISOR, STEVE, AT LEAST 5-6 TIMES . IN ADDITION TO THE LEAKS, THERE ARE A FEW MORE FINISHING TOUCHES THAT NEED TO BE DONE BEFORE THE FINAL INSPECTION, INCLUDING A MESS UNDER THE ROOM. WE EVEN SPOKE TO THE PRESIDENT OF CHAMPION, JOHN, WHO CALLED US ONE DAY TO TELL US ABOUT THE FINAL INSPECTION. WE COMPLAINED TO HIM TO NO AVAIL. WE ARE THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED AT THIS POINT AND JUST WANT THE ROOM FINISHED SO WE CAN USE IT. WE OWE $1000 ON THE ROOM, BUT WE'RE NOT PAYING UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE TO OUR SATISFACTION. AT THIS POINT WE ARE FED UP WITH THIS COMPANY AND ITS SHODDY & NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. ROBERT CAME BACK OUT AND TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THE PROBLEMS AND CLEANED UNDER THE ROOM. WE ARE NOW SATISFIED.
