I had water damage due to roof shingles being blown off. I called M&J, and he was able to stop by the next day to temporarily tarp the roof until insurance co. could determine the estimate for repair.

We had to wait a few months for work to start, but M&J was up front about that. It was well worth the wait for the money we saved and the professionalism and courtesy of the crew.

Prompt fast same day service. Holes are sealed, problem solved.

It ended up being a very small issue with a quick fix. They came back to fix it the next day. They quickly returned our call, quickly identified the problem and fixed it right away. this is the second project we have had done by M&J construction and we could not be happier with the work. The crew is friendly and very professional. Mark had a couple of suggestions of additional things that needed doing and because we trusted him we went with his ideas. The house looks wonderful and neighbors have commented on the good work.

Called M & J Construction as we had a leak in our roof. The very friendly receptionist promptly answered the phone and stated that he was working out of town but would call toward the end of the week when he could come out and look at it. On Wednesday he called and said he was in the area and could stop by to look at it. He stopped by to look at it and said he could fix it right away as he had some time in between jobs so he went to get the materials and fixed it promptly. He was very professional, friendly, and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone!!!

Mark did a great job repairing my leaking roof.

Our roof had leaked over our bedroom window occasionally, from water backing up under the shingles due ice dams, or so we thought. When water started coming in more heavily in the middle of a rainy Sunday in June I began calling around. As expected, no one was working on a Sunday, so I left messages. That evening when Mark got my message he called me back and came over...on a Sunday night! He looked over our roof, told us what was wrong and what we'd need to do to fix it, and gave us a quote for the work-no charge! We were in the process of listing our home and really wanted to get the work done quickly. We received a quote in the mail a few days later to be signed and returned. Even though our job was a small one, he found a way to get us fit in between larger jobs later that week so that we could list our home on time. He and two others did the repair early on Friday morning, taking about 2-3 hours to get the work completed. They brought the materials with them that morning and cleaned up after themselves. We received the invoice for the work in the mail later that week for the amount quoted. We had a huge rainstorm the following Wednesday (4.5 in) and the repair worked wonderfully.

Contractor showed on time and measured. Very polite and nice people. Mailed me an estimate. Didn't hire them because they were $1000 higher than the other 3 contractors.

Mark did a fine job start to finish. Price was fair. I would trust M&J to do future jobs for me. They worked steady until the job was finished.

We knew we needed to refinish the ceiling inside the attic and add soffit vents, but we weren't sure in what order to proceed. Should we have the ridge cut first? Should we refinish the attic but later we might learn a ridge vent wouldn't work? No worries! A representative from MJ came out and consulted in our attic and provided great advice on the order of operations. He even provided really good suggestions on what materials to use in the attic as well, and some tips on installing the soffit vents ourselves to save money. Did I mention they were one of the only contractors to answer my call immediately? The consultant was at my house the next morning. Amazing! We were moving out of state and converting our house to a rental. Once the attic was complete, MJ returned and completed their work in just a few hours. The price was VERY reasonable. They were clean, professional and efficient. We dealt with so many contractors during our move and MJ really stands out as a great experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Mark's wife,Lisa, handled communications with me; I live in Idaho, so we communicated at a distance. She was very prompt in answering emails and courteous via telephone. When I visited Moorhead after the work was completed, my inspection revealed all work and clean up had been done. This company provides exemplary service from beginning to end. They provided literature on their products and did followup communications after the project; they gave notice in advance of when they expected to do with work and kept to that schedule. They provided before and after pictures, which is helpful when hiring at a distance. Mark noticed that the chimney needed re-mortaring and followed up without a reminder in completing this small additional job. I hired them to do additional guttering job on the garage. Again, exceptional in all aspects; they care about quality of work and maintaining a professional relationship with clients. Highly recommend this company without reservation.

Mark and Lisa from M&J visited our home to see my roof and garage attic. A written quotation was provided by mail. The quotation detailed the work to be performed and included an exact price. I scheduled the work with Lisa over the phone; they were always easy to reach and returned calls promptly. Mark indicated he would do the ridge work and install the vents in one day and then return at a later date to do the insulation. Mark and his crew arrived promptly on the scheduled days and the work was done to my complete satisfaction. They accommodated my schedule and were able to do the job on days that worked for me. Mark did some additional work to improve the insulation installation but did not charge extra for it--very generous. Overall it went very well--the most important things for me: M&J was on time, performed exactly the work they quoted--and did a few extras at no additional charge. They were prompt, professional and did an excellent job.

Mark and his crew were on time, worked through unfavorable weather some days. Got the job done by the estimated completion date. Did a great job and we were very happy with the results.

Showed up when they said they would, very courteous and clean. All materials removed from premises other than new roof. I couldn't tell they had been here. All my foundation plants survived.
