Northland Fence Minnesota

I reached out to Northland Fence for a quote first and then brought in several other companies for a competitive quotes. After speaking with the other companies. I found Northland Fence to have the most informative and competitive quote off the bat. (They did not try and highball and then negotiate down.) They were always on time and even though they needed a 3 week timeline to install (standard due to weather and other factors) they ended up getting it done within the first week. They were easy to work with communicative, knowledgeable and offered fair pricing for a quality product. I would definitely recommend to friends and family

Can’t recommend enough. Through the whole process they were in constant communication to answer my questions. Gave me good ideas on what would and wouldn’t work. The actual installation was so fast I was actually shocked. Overall super happy, I would recommend to others, and go with them again in the future should I ever need it.

I had them install a new privacy fence a year and a half ago and They did a great job! It was completed on time and everything they explained happened with no surprises. I had a minor repair this month and they were out the next day and fixed it at no charge. Great company! I would hire them again.

We were impressed with Northland Fence from start to finish. We were planning to hire another leading company in the Twin Cities because they had done a good job installing a wooden fence at our previous home. We signed up for a free estimate from Northland because we were doing our due diligence in getting multiple quotes. We had a relatively big job, which required removal of a rotting wooden fence and three gates and replacing it with approximately 300 feet of vinyl fencing. The other company required us to hire a landscaper to build a retaining wall, and they planned to dig up all the old posts and cement and dispose of them. The cost was so high we thought the project would be a non starter. Then we had our consult with a representative from Northland who took time to walk me through the job so patiently. I had lots of questions after my consult with the other company. I left the meeting feeling relieved but also anxious about the price. When I got the estimate, it was exactly what we had budgeted for the project! Northland has a really slick system where they cut the old posts to the ground and work around them. They drive steel posts many feet deeper than other companies. Our three children were in awe watching the workers on the day of installation. Once we signed the contract, Northland said they were about a month out. However, the scheduling person moved us to an earlier date since we have a pool. She wanted to make sure our backyard was secure, which was above and beyond. On the tear down date (a Friday), two crews worked swiftly and hauled away the old fence. Then they drove the new posts into the ground. We were told to expect another crew to come within 2-3 weeks to finish the job. You can imagine my surprise when the crew showed up first thing Monday morning to assemble the fence. They worked all day and didn't quite finish, so they came out the next available day (when it wasn't raining) and completed the work. We had a slight issue with a fence post obstructing a window and some old posts sticking out of the ground. I emailed Northland, and an installer came out the next morning to fix it. We had one more small request, so the installer returned the following morning to take care of it. If I could give Northland a grade beyond an A for responsiveness, I most certainly would. We are so happy with our new white vinyl fence. Since we live in a development where houses were constructed in the late 1970s and early 1980s, many fences in the neighborhood are showing their age. We have had several neighbors inquire about the fence project because they are considering replacing wood with vinyl. I have enthusiastically recommended Northland to each one. They are a fantastic company!

We loved working with Northland Fence! From our first quote, to the planning, and the installation, they were SO prompt, responsive, helpful, friendly, and professional. Northland took such great care of us and it was obvious how hard they worked for us. We asked for several different options and quotes, made changes throughout, and did not have the easiest yard (large, hilly, rocky, and full of trees). Our fence turned out incredible and is very professional looking. Would recommend them to anyone!

Northland Fence was one of two companies out of seven companies that responded to my request for a quote. Northland Fence was the lowest bid for the same type of fence. But what clinched the deal was the customer support that they gave me even before I signed the contract. They also referred me to their YouTube videos on how they do the installation. The fence was installed well before the estimated completion date. Their installers were courteous, helpful and answered all of my questions plus they cleaned up after themselves. I will go to them again should I need any fence work performed.

We had a 5' wrought iron ornamental steel fence installed in our backyard and are very happy with both the customer service and end result from Northland Fence! The entire process, from getting an estimate to scheduling to installation, was very smooth and easy. Northland came out quickly to provide a quote and was very responsive and helpful with providing additional information and updated quotes when we changed our minds on the height and materials we wanted. Great. All work was completed in four visits - quote, post install, fence install, gates install. There was an abundance of communication in between visits. Price was slightly higher than the other quotes but based on the job they did it was worth it.

Northland Fence was awesome! Great office and field teams that coordinated everything. We had a large backyard that we wanted fenced to keep our 3 dogs from running off into the street...but we wanted something that looked nice as well. We went with a black vinyl coated fence and are very happy with the choice and the entire project. The field team installed the posts on a Monday and the fencing over Wednesday and Thursday of the same week....weather cooperated for the install!
