We had a new roof installed by Austad, they did a great job. The crew was very mindful of protecting our landscaping and house during the process and cleaned up well after the job was completed. And yes, the roof looks great. I should note, the class 4 shingles they recommended lowered my home owner's insurance cost by $900 p/year.

In addition to replacing my roof perfectly, the crew also cleaned up exceptionally well and worked 2 12+ hr days to get the job done. Steve was a gem to work with; was always on time, professional, and communicative. Highly recommend Austad!

Used Austad Construction for a flat / EDPM roof, perimeter metal and looks like they did a very good job. Took the time to do some extra steps to seal some old venting, add better drainage and did a nice job while working around some bad weather!! Really appreciated the clear and timely communication from beginning all the way through the project! Took the time to do a nice walk through afterward and will be recommending Dave and Austad Construction!! (We know it's sealed up nice and tight as we have 12" of snow up there now melting and it's dry dry dry and draining well!! ).

First Dave took days to respond, then roofing was delivered to the neighbors. Roofing was delayed, and i was notified the first day. The 2nd day i heard nothing from Steve and had to call to find out. I was told the driveway would be covered with tarps and magnets would be used to pick up nails. This wasn't done and i had to pick up 100's of nails myself from driveway and all around the house and neighbors house. Front and back steps weren't covered with tarps while roofing, so one had oil stains, the other brand new composite steps had gouges, tar stains, and a broken light. Corner piece of my siding had a hole put in it. My birdbath was also broken. Roofers left garbage all over the place. A few nails and little pieces of roofing were left on the roof after they were done. The office called before the job was completed to get final papers signed, i had to tell them they aren't done yet. Long delays and poor communication, a roofing job with soffit and fascia took about a month total. Corner siding piece was finally replaced, and a couple hundred dollars was taken off the price for the broken items.

Very professional and great quality work. Completed in a timely fashion with no clean up on our end. Definitely recommend Austad for any of their services provided. Thank you again Dave. The roof looks amazing!

Very well. They submitted a thorough estimate for work and materials. They answered all my questions. The crew was on time and very professional. They were careful with the shrubbery and surrounding gardens. They did an excellent cleanup, all excess material was removed.

The process was super easy. Austad came out and looked at why needed to be done and gave me a quick estimate. I was able to schedule for them to come back within the week, the work was done quickly and mess free. I was very impressed with the contractors work and my roof has been great since!

The removed snow from roughly a 30x35 foot area. All they had to do wash push the snow down the roof. There was more standing around talking and laughing than working. I was build for 6 man hours of labor. I get that they needed someone to handle safety lines, but seriously, it takes this kind of time? Never going to use or recommend them again.

Roofing job didn't pass homeowners insurance inspection. Unprofessional crew. Poor communication. Damage to property.

Quickly and smoothly. Contractor and crew were hard-working and considerate, my numerous questions and concerns were answered quickly, honestly and respectfully, and the cleanup afterwards was tremendous. I've hired Austad Construction for several projects over the years, and always feel at ease and confident working with them. Love our new roof!
