Description of Work: Paul removed 60 year old laundry tubs in our basement and installed new replacements. He arrived exactly when he said he would and completed the job in an extremely timely manner. He removed the debris from the old tubs and left the laundry area very clean and even leveled my washer without being asked. Although his costs actually exceeded his estimate, I was charged only the exact amount on the estimate. This is a professional.

 + -1 moreI had told Paul that I planned to replace the toilet when I demo the bathroom in summer of 2010, so he took that info to heart and just 'made it work' instead of properly replacing the entire unit. He had to tinker a bit to get it working properly, but he assured me that it would last until I needed to yank it out. I will definitely call him back for some work that I have planned for later this year.
Description of Work: Paul replaced an actuator in a toilet and un-froze a frozen shutoff valve that hadn't submitted to endless applications of liquid wrench. The toilet was apparently jerry-rigged to begin with, so it was a challenge to make it work properly.

I was not home the day that he came, but left my brother in charge. I came home to a new heater and everything cleaned up perfectly. Paul then called me the next day to thank me for my business and to make sure that I was satisfied with everything. Talk about GREAT customer service!!! I HIGHLY recommend Paul!  + -1 moreIt went great! I was referred to Benchmark by a friend. We just bought a house and the fixtures in both bathrooms were badly deteriorated because of hard water. I was able to repair everything but those items that needed special tools or pipe setting. I called in the morning and Paul was there by the late afternoon. He did an incredible job and cleaned up after himself well. I was very impressed - and will highly recommend him to others. And his price was better than others I called - so I'm a happy camper all the way around.
Description of Work: Repaired broken drain assembly in the tub and installed all new tub and shower fixtures I had previously purchased at Home Depot.
