Great service They were flexible with my requested schedule times and arrived promptly. The service took less than 30 minutes but the tech checked the softener and also tested both the hot and cold water from the taps. Gave a clean bill of health for the softener and also told me that these units were typically very dependable. A first sign of an issue would visible water in the salt tank.

AJ the technician was superb - professional, competent and a true pleasure to work with. Treated our home with total respect.

I called Peterson Salt & Water Treatment Co to see if they could service my Hydrotech RO system and to schedule an appointment. To my surprise, they said they could be at my house that same day (I'm in Apple Valley). The person they sent was very professional and got my system running again. He was very patient and informative and answered several questions I had. He also checked in later in the day by phone to make sure everything was ok. Excellent service, very pleased.

The schedule was for 10:00 - 11:00 am. The installer arrived at 10:00 am got right to work and was finished a little after 11:00am. He also took the old unit, cleaned the work area and then delivered 6 bags of salt. He was gone by 11:30 am. The unit works great and the installation was efficient and professional. I couldn't have asked for more!

Called because we thought our water softner was leaking into our basement. The person on the phone was super pleasant and gave me all the details I needed up front. They had someone out that afternoon. He identified the problem (not the water softner) and then continued with checking out our system. Tom, the tech who came to our house, was knowledgeable and friendly

Sales process over the phone was informative and easy to understand. Follow up call to place order was just as good. Date for install and what was need at new townhouse was straight forward. Tech"s arrived on schedule and we professional, clean and informative, also had good sense of humor. Of the many vendor's that I interacted with this week moving into my new townhouse, Peterson was 5 star. Nice job by all involved, which proves there is strong leadership at the top.

This is not the first time we've used Peterson Salt for service (perhaps the 3rd time). We've had a great experience each time we've used them. We call them to schedule home delivery of salt so we don't have to drag the salt from the grocery store or the gas station. They are easy to schedule with. Saturday delivery of 10 bags or more gives us a special price vs. a weekday delivery or a delivery of less than 10 bags. The young man who delivers the salt brings it right to our basement to our storage area and fills the hopper if needed. He is professional, fast, and friendly (and in good shape with all the hauling!). They give us about a 3 hour window for the delivery and he usually shows up early in the time window. All in all, a great family-owned company and business model: great value and effiecient service!

They were pretty good. The only issue we did have was the office guy did not tell us that it's gonna be an additional charge to have our old stuff taken away for hauling. They were efficient in getting it end. We were able to get it done in two days.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. This is a scam company. I have called 4 different water companies to come and take a look at my leaking water softener. All of them have come and have given me a fixed bid for replacing the water softener. I did not pick this company as I felt that their quality of service, their pricing and quality of their water softeners were sub-par from other companies that are on angies list that have given me their bids. Almost a month and a half later, I get a bill in my mail for 79.50. I did not recognize it and I gave a call to their office regarding this. I asked them and about the bill and she said that this was a service call. I told her that there was no mention of anyone telling me that this is a charged service call when I called them to come and give me a bid. She said that she cannot do anything about it. She put me on hold and said she would speak with her service manager and let me know. After she spoke, she said they cannot do anything about it. My contention was that I was not told that there will be a charge to come to the house just to look and give an estimate. Why was I not told about that. The front desk person (who identified her as Maddy Smith) which is a wrong name did not tell us about the charge when we scheduled the appointment nor the person who came to the house tell us anything about the charge. The name of the service manager is Michelle. (I dont know if that is a genuine name either) I have asked for the names of people I spoke with so I can put that on Angies List and I was given fake names by Maddy. Who identified herself as Maddy Smith. If you like surprises in the bills and poor communication from the office staff regarding pricing and other information, pick this one. Horrible experience!!!!!

Their online order system works well, easy to fill out. They called to confirm when they would deliver the salt, giving me a two hour time window. The delivery was right on time and contained exactly what I ordered.

it went great. They were knowledgeable and got the work done in a timely manner. We did have to have them come out a second time as the installation was not up to code, but when we contacted them they came our right away and got it taken care of!

Removal of old system (from different vendor) and installation of new system took 2.5 hours. AJ was our service person. He was fast, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We will be using Peterson Salt & Water Treatment for our water softener needs in the future. Hope we get AJ back again!

Replacement went very well. Technician was prompt, cheerful, knowledgeable and courteous. New softener is great. I did not realize how bad the old one was performing, until I washed dishes after the replacement. Difference is like night and day. Experience was great, and if I want Peterson's would be glad to supply salt on an on-going basis, including carrying it to my basement. I would recommend them to anyone.

By the time I got to look up companies to install a water softener it was the weekend. I emailed two companies. One never contacted me and a nice lady from Peterson contacted me on Monday morning. We talked for quite a while about water softeners and she seemed very knowledgeable. I wasn't in a huge rush as I had been in my house for 19 years and only just got around to it! Anyway the guy showed up two days later to install it and he was friendly and efficient and got it done pretty quickly. Also when he needed to reroute the piping a little he was okay with doing it the way I wanted it done rather than the easiest way. The extra charge for the plumping was less than I thought it would be. The price also included 50 pounds of salt that they bought. I couldn't fault them on anything.

Everything went well. We definitely will call again with any water treatment issues.

The company was very easy to deal with, answering all my questions, and was able to install a new water softener within a week of my call. The young service man that came out to do the installation was very prompt, professional, and efficient. It only took about an hour to install, and he gave me clear instructions on how to operate the softener. Their price was very reasonable, and included 5 bags of salt pellets. I had used this company last year to service an aging softener, and was very pleased with the results, again being very efficient and fairly priced.

The only negative is it took a couple days for them to come out. Think they do one day per week in each city or something like that since I called on Friday and they said Wednesday is the day they come to my city and couldn't come out until then. BUT everything else was PERFECT. Polite, professional, courteous, took their time to repair and explained all options if I want to replace the unit. Got everything up and running better than ever in the past ten years I've lived in the home. Given the quality of everything very impressed. There might be cheaper companies, but Peterson has my business going forward!!!!!

They always show up when they say they are going to. They have the best price that I have been able to find anywhere and they carry the salt downstairs for me.

It went well. They removed the old softener and put in the new one. I love this softener. It softens automatically when needed. Peterson also delivers salt to me whenever I need it. It's great cause I don't have to lift those heavy bags at the grocery store. My last contact with them was for a salt delivery.
