I found Peterson on Angie’s List 5 years ago and had them install a water softener for my daughter. I was so impressed with their professionalism, quality of water softener, outstanding customer service and price that I called them when I needed one. The service is still outstanding! I would recommend them without hesitation! AJ was our installer and is so pleasant, professional and very competent!

We went back to them because we had used them before and their pricing is competitive. We will continue to use them and recommend them.

They are great. I could not do it without them. They have also repaired my water softener which I purchased from them maybe 10 or 12 years ago.

The installer removed the old softener, had to do so repiping and installed the new softener. It's great.

My experience with Peterson was great. I did some research on water softeners and installers, and decided to go with Peterson. From the initial call to the installation, it was a pleasant experience. John took the initial call and provided me with all the information I would need to make a decision. He was knowledgeable, friendly, but not pushy on sales. I called back to schedule, and John accommodated my needs. Installer A.J. arrived on time, with a smile and expertise. I asked A.J. if he could let me know when he got the old unit out, so I could clean up the corner before installing the new system. He did so cheerfully, and installed the new one. He walked me through how it operates, answered all my questions and left my utility room cleaner than he found it. I definitely recommend their sales and installation staff.

I had been told that by a plumber servicing my water heater that the water softener needed replacing and their prices ranged from $1600 to $4400. I contacted Petersons for pricing on a softener, and they recommended a service visit to see if it could be repaired. Rather than push me to buy a new unit they serviced the existing softener and confirmed that it was working. They came out right away, were very pleasant, and honest.

Let me first say, my experience was good, I would definitely use them again. I called on Tuesday and talked to John- he was informative and patient with my questions. He quoted me a rate that he said was inclusive of the equipment, the installation, and taxes. I scheduled an appt for 8am Thursday morning, and stated clearly that I had a hard stop at 11am when I had to leave the house for an appointment. On Thursday, I finally called at 8:45 and was told someone would be here shortly. Since I am only about six blocks away, the installer showed up within 10 minutes. AJ was professional, courteous, neat, and seemed to know his stuff. The install took about 2 1/2 hours. Like I said, I would use them again. But a few comments- I was told when I called that you could adjust the softness setting (not true according to the installer), I was told someone would be here at 8am (someone arrived minutes before 9am), and the price I was given at time of payment was higher than what was quoted (they did honor the quoted price). I'm chalking it up to a miss in communication, and will let Peterson figure out where the issue arose. I was late to my appointment which was a bit of a problem as I was leading a work session with 80 attendees. The softener is working fine, though, and overall, I would recommend them.

They are a great company, and if I needed a new water softener I would use them. I believe they will sell and deliver salt even if you did not buy your softener through them. All of their delivery guys are super nice, and I feel totally safe having them in my house. Everyone in the company is efficient, nice, and a pleasure to deal with.

I called for information and got a quote on the phone. There was no sales pressure. They gave me plenty of information about the brand of softeners they provide and the benefits of a good softener vs. one from a big box store. The installation went smoothly. They removed an old, broken softener, fixed up the plumbing and installed the new one. They also brought in the salt and filled it for me which was nice. I am writing this several months later and enjoying the soft water. Much better than we had in the past with either of our two previous softeners. Overall a very good experience.
