Description of Work: The night before I was scheduled to go out of town, my daughter's car started losing power steering fluid fast. She was also going on a road trip and needed it fixed fast. The next morning I showed up at Feste with her car and spoke with Don and described the problem. He told me that he would be able to diagnose the root cause that day and provide me with an estimate via my cell phone. He also assured me that we could settle up on the bill after I returned from my trip, if need be. I left town knowing that my daughter's car would be taken care of. |Later that morning, I got a call from Don. His mechanic found that the high pressure power steering hose had broken. He recommended replacing the hose and flushing the system, as well as, degreasing the outside of the engine. He had also checked the car over for any other safety issues. I gave him the okay to go ahead with the work. Later that day I got a call that it was done and was able to give him my credit card information over the phone. |My daughter picked up the car late that afternoon. She was relieved that she didn't have to cancel her trip to British Columbia where she was to be a Bride's maid. |It was nice to know that the folks at Dale Feste were looking out for us even when I could not be there to manage everything.

Description of Work: Check engine light was on - again. They ran multiple tests including road tests. Found no cause for check engine light. Reset light. Charged my 1/2 of what they had into the job for labor. I've worked with them before on a similar issue. They have even done a similar check for no charge (Right after a paid service visit). Great firm to work with. Always gives you great info and good service.

I WAS IN A BIND TRANSPORTATION-WISE TO GET TO WORK WITHOUT MY CAR, SO I MANAGED TO BUG TOM QUITE A BIT ON WEDNESDAY, BUT HE WAS PATIENT WITH ME AND HAD THE CAR READY FOR ME TO PICK UP BY 4PM WEDNESDAY. TOM EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO MY POWER STEERING. I NEEDED A NEW PUMP WHICH IS WHY THE COST IS AS HIGH AS IT IS. IF YOU ARE AN AAA MEMBER, YOU WILL GET 10% OFF YOUR BILL UP TO A MAX. OF $25.00.
