Andrew was very responsive, answering all my questions via email (almost instantly). The price was what was expected, so set up an install date. Install went great, showed him the attic and the system in the basement and he took it from there. Best of all, my readings are now showing minimal radon, down to .24 pCi/L.

A1 came to the house earlier than expected and were very professional and personable. Andrew continued to answer all of my questions and concerns. The install took less than 3 hours. Brothers Electric (working with A1 at this time) worked on the electrical for less than an hour. 5 year warranty. Very clean post install. I tested the basement about 1 week and the test came back at .3 pCi/L (0.5 pCi/L and below is the same as the outside air). Very happy customer. A1 is highly recommended.

A1 Radon has been one of the best companies I've worked with EVER! I originally called and spoke to Andrew. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I decided to move forward with the installation and he was fast, courteous, and professional. My townhouse ended up being a bit of a challenge with multiple visits, suction points, and tests. Andrew remained determined and did a wonderful job throughout, following up consistently. The installation is great and Andrew has been consistently great with the whole process.

I got a few bids and decided to hire Andrew and Rob from A1 Radon Services for the job and glad I did. The job was performed on time and at the agreed upon bid. Both Andrew and Rob were very professional, prompt, answered all my questions, and finished the job in the time they stated it would take. I would certainly hire them again.

Could not have been any better. Andrew & Rob arrived at the scheduled time and in less than 4 hours had installed the complete system. They were very friendly and answered all my questions. The final test reading showed the new system was working properly. The original tests indicated a radon level of 7.5 pCi/L while the new level is 0.5 pCi/L (<4.0 pCi/L is recommended). These guys are great but very busy which may require some time between contact and installation. Worth the wait!

The entire job was extremely successful and only took a few hours for Andrew and Robert to implement. Andrew quickly responded to all my questions and concerns promptly prior to arriving to install the system. I was very specific in how I wanted the PVC pipe to run and exhaust through the roof to minimize the appearance of the system. We recently have finished our garage and did not want to look at an ugly PVC pipe across the back of the garage. On the day of the install, Andrew called ahead and specified what time they would arrive. They arrived at that time. After walking through the project of what is going to happen, and answering all of the many questions that I had, they set forth getting the work done. Andrew took care of coring the hole in the slab, sealing the sump basket, filing cracks and piped in the basement while Robert handled the piping and venting through the garage and up through the attic. All holes in the cement slab, walls, ceiling, and roof were cut to exact measurements. All holes and pipe junctions where seal with the correct materials including the fire stops in the garage. You can tell they have done many of these types of installs before because each person knows exactly what and how to do it. I was impressed with there workmanship and they were both very friendly to talk to. I would highly recommend them to others.

We had used A1Radon in a previous real estate transaction so when we found elevated radon levels in our present home, we knew who to call. Andrew & Rob did a great job again, and after the mitigation system was installed, our level went from 7 to 0.9. Andrew always responded promptly to my emails, including my request for an estimate, to schedule the installation, and to answer my questions. He was able to look up our floor plan online so he didn't have to come to our home to give the estimate. This might not be possible for every estimate, but if it is possible, it can save a lot of time when comparing bids. However, we didn't bother getting other bids this time, because we knew from our previous experience, that A1 does quality work at a fair price. Andrew and Rob arrived on time and had the installation complete in under 3 hours. They're very professional and not only do they do the job right the first time, they're very personable and will take the time to answer questions and explain the system in detail. The price included the electrician to install an outlet & a light in the attic for the system fan. It also included a final radon test, with a professional testing machine, that’s left in the home for 2 days after the installation, to be sure the system is working well and that radon levels are reduced to acceptable levels. We couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to recommend A1Radon to anyone who needs a mitigation system installed. They also provide service, in addition to installation, and their contact information is printed on the system, so it's handy if we ever have questions or need repairs in the future.

Andrew was extremely helpful throughout the process. He made it so easy to explain and understand our floor plan and our foundation footprint. He explained over the phone what he planned on doing and sent a proposal within a day of our conversation. He answered all my questions and concerns about the work we did previously ourselves to alleviate the radon risk in our unfinished crawl space. He explained how A1 will complete the mitigation process and what results we can expect. Our levels are now well below the safe standard which is great! Definitely would recommend this company - well worth the peace of mind that comes with safe Radon levels (tested both levels of our home!)

I am very happy with the results of the post test, 0.3, and the appearance of the mitigation system. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking. Looking back, I wish I would have done this a long time ago, when I discovered my levels were around 10.0, because it really was a very easy process and now I have peace of mind that my house isn't putting my family's health at risk.
