It went very well. Pre-mitigation testing showed our radon level was higher then the recommended level. After A1 Radon Services performed radon reduction services, our post radon level was considerably lower then the recommended level. A1 Radon Services performed the work in a timely manner for the exact price they quoted. Very pleased with the work they did.

About four years after we had it installed, the fan on our radon system was making some funny noises, and I emailed Andrew late one Saturday night to see if he could take a look at it. Andrew responded within 20 minutes! He was able to get out to our house within a couple of days, as promised, and he promptly replaced the fan for us. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and responsive and his customer service is top-notch. Very highly recommend this company!

I contacted A1 Radon about 4 weeks ago after performing a self test of radon in my home and learning that at times my home had 5 times more than the documented safe levels of radon, even upstairs in the bedrooms. These days, self electronic devices are available for consumers to test their own radon and having instant results that are affordable. The W.H.O safe guidelines for radon levels are 2.4 or less, the U.S. guidelines are 4.0 or less for real estate transactions. I was concerned if a mitigation system would be able to get the levels down enough. Andy called me back promptly the same day and we discussed the process. Because of my radon levels in my house, I knew I had to do something so we scheduled for the following Monday to have the system installed. Overall it took about 2.5 hours, very quick. It was explained to me the reason for the high radon in my house was most likely due to the drain tile and sump pump area that had been installed several years back by previous owners. I was cautious how one area of the house could allow so much radon in and uncertain that one pipe would be able to suck the excess radon out. At the time the installation ended and the system was turned on, my upstairs radon levels were 5.85, over the next few hours the levels began to subside quickly. The next morning I checked the levels as soon as I woke up and was amazed that the meter read 0.67.... I was very surprised. I've continued to monitor my upstairs and the levels fluctuate some which I'm told it's due to Spring thawing, still the levels have not gone above 1.75, well below the W.H.O safety guidelines and most days under 1.0 Andy's company did a great job, excellent customer service and easy to communicate with. The project was worth every penny to not be breathing in poison every night at bed.

Arrived on time and got right to work. The job took almost exactly as long as Andrew had predicted. Left no mess- cleaned up nicely. Retested radon level and the level was reduced but still too high so Andrew changed to a larger fan at no extra cost. Radon level is now 1.2 and in the safe range. Very pleased with the results. The price was reasonable . Andrew is courteous and a very nice person.

A1 responded promptly and implemented a solution that was concealed well in the house, and successfully lowered the radon level.

We would definitely recommend A1 to anyone we know needing radon mitigation. Andrew and his team were always prompt to respond to us from the very beginning, including getting a quote to us fast. They were proactive in their engagement with us and were detailed in spelling out what they intended to do. Although the initial system they installed did not go drive the radon levels in our home below 2.0, they stuck to their guarantee and installed more components to the system to the point where our level are now consistently below 1.0 without extra costs.

Andrew was great. While the results weren’t as low as we had hoped for after the initial install, he made some adjustments and the results are now around 1.0. He was very responsive and professional.

Truly outstanding service. My motor broke after four years of service. I called up A1. They showed up a couple of days later. Replaced the motor under warranty. They even texted me a picture of the new unit. On the intitial install their workmanship was outstanding. Love these guys.

I have hired A1 Radon Services LLC in the past, but this time was my personal home. They always work hard to hide the pipes in the wall or through a closet. They show up on time and get the job done and clean up after themselves too. I refer them out to my clients (I'm a Real Estate Agent) and now I finally got to use them on my home.

We are very happy with the mitigation process through A1 and would highly recommend them! Andrew kept in close contact throughout the process. We had a high level of Radon when we purchased our home and he made sure we were well below the required minimum. The work was very neat and clean. I was very pleased with A1 Radon LLC. They were the first company of three to actually produce results. Andrew and his team came in and assessed the current system. They were responsive to all my questions from the start. Came to my house to inspect and determine the best installation method. When they came to install the system they determined that the construction of the house, did not allow for a "standard" type installation. They designed a custom plan and returned a week later to install the system. Very professional, personable, and respectful. I just completed a new radon test and am happy to say the level has dropped to almost nothing. I highly recommend!

A1 radon was very professional. Andrew kept in close contact with me throughout the entire process. Furthermore, he listened to my situation: I was living with my wife and infant in a basement and I did not want to worry about radon exposure, especially for the newborn. Other than being attentive to my needs, other highlights of my experiences include the following. First, Andrew spoke to me several times about cost-saving measures (he even explained that the previous company should fix the issue, which would be cheaper than him having to start anew. They were very thorough in scoping out the work required and walking us through how the system would be installed. Their bid was very competitive. Andrew was such a pleasure to work with and he provided the best solution and the lowest price. A1 was the only mitigation company that suggested not to treat the crawl space and they proposed the least intrusive placement of the pipes, all for the lowest cost. They also guaranteed to bring the radon level down lower than the other bids we received, Nd they beat their max radon level by quite a bit! I would highly recommend A1 for radon mitigation projects.

We bought a new home and the inspections showed the need for a radon remediation system. I called Andrew at A1, who was able to look up our home and give us an estimate over email, including pictures of what the system would look like and how it works. They were scheduling 3-4 weeks out, which was okay with us because our radon levels were just slightly over the limit. On the day of the install, two installers came to do the radon, and then they sent two electricians later in the day (from Brothers Electric) to finish doing the electrical work. The radon installers came out in the bitter cold and did a great job. They consulted me about where I wanted the system to be, and also gave me an overview of how the system works and how to maintain it over the years (spoiler: it's easy!). Super happy with the electrician they work with as well. We are happy to have our radon issues taken care of and highly recommend A1.
