We had 2 casement windows that were about 25 years old and needed replacement. We had other windows replaced by Zen and were quite pleased with them. We got estimates from other window companies, none of them even came close to the Zen bid. Steve is very easy to deal with and his crews are amazing, Respectful, neat and extremely thorough. HIRE ZEN. We had an excellent experience. Our porch windows, and a screen door, were replaced by Steve (and his colleague Erik) from Zen in June 2019. Fair price for excellent carpentry and window and door removal and replacement. They worked fast, efficiently, and professionally. Steve and Erik trouble-shooted a crooked porch that would have made window and door replacements a bit of a challenge for less experienced people. Steve was responsive to our many questions and he made (and kept) his promised schedule. Steve and Erik are professionals who work thoroughly and with a sense of humor! And they left with NO MESS. Our last experience (with a bathroom contractor) had us cleaning an hour/day after they left. Not so with Zen: at the end of the job, our porch was spotless and the windows and door were beautiful. We didn't know what a barrier our old and inefficient windows were to our enjoying our porch. We sit out there every day now. Our only regret is that we waited so long to have this job done: we feel like we have another room in the house now. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steve and Zen because of expertise, fairness, and good business practices (kept to a schedule, problem-solved an unexpected issue, no surprises from the company). Really nice people, too.

Steve answered by email immediately and came out to my house and fixed both issues at no charge, even though i had bought my windows in 2016.

Steve did a great job of selling the windows - not your typical salesman that keeps on you to make the purchase. He presented the product, explained, and let you decide with no pressure. Once windows were ordered and received, (a couple weeks) the installers showed up and did a great job. Very hard working and professional.

I feel I could not write a positive enough review of Zen Windows. It is currently the coldest day in 30 years in the Twin Cities, and our new windows have made it possible for us to sit in comfort anywhere in our house. Zen Windows offers a quality product at a fair price and with quality installation. In an industry that is full of pressure sales tactics and elaborate, time-consuming demonstrations, Zen does business is a straightforward and ethical manner. I would recommend Steve and his partners to my family and friends highly and without any reservation or qualification. I had waded out into the waters of replacement windows after inspecting our new to us home in St. Paul. It was clear that the windows were old, but a close look showed that several were failing in multiple ways. We decided to replace all of them to increase functionality and insulation. When we waded out into the world of replacement window companies, we met with 5 companies that were generally highly rated here and elsewhere. Each of those companies sent a rep to our home to assess the situation, measure windows, and talk about various products. In a couple of cases, the company followed a demonstration with a high-pressure offer that involved calling the home office for permission to lower the price “for today.” There is none of this nonsense with Zen Windows. Here are the product choices, here are their prices installed. Nothing about how deeply discounted they are today, etc. I’ll say that Zen wasn’t the lowest bid, but it was very close, and the lack of posturing around price, the lifetime warranty, and frankly the feeling you get dealing with someone like Steve made the decision a no-brainer. The windows took about 4 or 5 weeks from initiation to delivery. They are made in Ohio, shipped to Minnesota, and they are installed by pros that Steve hires himself. The installation went well, took about one day of intensive work by two installers, and another half day of work by Steve himself finishing things off, inspecting, and making small tweaks. In the process, he discovered a few problems that needed to be fixed, and he promptly ordered the necessary parts. Those parts were installed (again, by Steve) when they arrived. You can read abou the company, their products and their pricing on their website. What I can say is that, after working with them and having the expert and timely follow up that has been necessary, what is described is what you will get. They are not the cheapest windows, but I am confident that I got the finest quality that I could afford, and I am working with a company that will make things right when they go wrong. I will call Steve immediately the next time I have a project involving a window. He’s honest, easy-going, and reliable. He is invested in the customer’s satisfaction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Steve is very responsive & excellent communicator all through the process of initial contact, estimates, selection, installation process.. We replaced 4 windows. We were satisfied with their installers as well. In our case, after few months we had a stress-crack in one of the windows. I took a picture and Steve responded within few hours, he was able to order a replacement and did replacement on Christmas eve.

After the rough task of getting quotes I came upon Zen Windows in Ramsey, MN. Steve the owner was quick on getting me my quote and I was surely happy with it. There was no aggressive pushy selling. The window installer did a wonderful job, was very nice and kept it clean. Steve the owner went above and beyond to help me add the finishing touches to my windows. Steve at Zen Windows is by far one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with, the product, installation, cost, followup & follow through were all excellent, Steve and his crew's straight forward approach was very refreshing. If any of you have gotten window quotes, you know that it can be time-consuming and confusing. We got three quotes before getting one from Steve --- and one after, just to convince my husband that Zen and Steve were right for us. We had our new windows installed, including a gorgeous picture window that replaced two double-hung windows at the front of our house, in September 2018 and it was a professional and pain-free experience. Steve and his team were efficient, professional, and and a pleasure to have around. Even the clean up they did was beyond expectations -- other than the beautiful new windows, it was like nothing even happened there. I give them my highest recommendation!

Highly recommend Zen Windows! The process was painless and "no high pressure" at all. Steve Copsey is a great guy to work with, he communicates well and they are there when they say they are going to be there. Steve's installers, Alex and Austin, are very skilled and do a nice job trimming things out to make the windows look great. They are clean, always taking care in your home and at the end of the day, you don't even know they were there! I did a lot of research on replacement windows and installers before I spent our hard earned money and the Sof Lite windows Zen Windows installs are a great looking, quality window and a very good value!

Steve came out to our home and spent considerable time to meet with us to give us all the pertinent information and to allow for all of our questions and potential concerns. Small company with reasonable prices, great customer service. Steve was both friendly and professional. His workers were efficient and clean. Choosing to go with Zen Windows is one of the best decisions I’ve made for my house! Over a year ago, I received about 6 estimates for windows and was so confused which company to choose until I met Steve from Zen Windows. Listening to pushy salesmen from all the other companies made Zen Windows so refreshing from the very beginning. No sales pitches, no bashing other companies, and no lowering quotes to convince you to sign immediately. Not only was the quote I received from Zen Windows the lowest with a full lifetime warranty included, but I’m convinced that the triple pane windows and sliding glass door I received are the best quality. The whole process was seamless and the crew was so neat and tidy that I couldn’t even tell they’d been to my house each day. Since installation, I’ve had a couple issues with screens, but Steve has already come out to replace them. I highly recommend this company!!

We had a number of companies into our home to discuss their products, processes and costs, including the "big three" in the Minnesota area. On top of that, they all had their State Fair specials going on. During this process, I came across Zen Windows, and now I am SO glad. When Steve, (the owner no less) promptly got back to me, we set up a time for him to visit and discuss our needs. This was a no pressure and quite fun meeting. Steve demonstrated his windows, discussed our options, and shared stories of both his business and his friends. Made us feel as if we had known him for a long time. NOW, the true test...what is all this going to cost us? His estimates arrived in a form anyone can understand, with any options or alternatives called out and priced separately. The best part? It was THOUSANDS of dollars less than our local well known companies. The process of installing can always be a wake-up call to homeowners, with the home disruption a large issue, and the crews sometimes suspect. Steve's guys are the best, and made sure everything was taken care of, including all the clean up, vacuuming floors AND cleaning the windows before they left. These guys don't do siding and roofs, so hire them for your WINDOWS!! I couldn't be happier, and the windows look and function great.

Steve and the installers at Zen windows were fantastic, and I could not be more happy with my windows. The traffic noise on my busy street corner can barely be heard inside my house. I love the look and quality of these windows. Installation was exceptional. Working with Steve was on the level and I appreciate working with a straight-shooter who does NOT try to sell!

Went very well. No surprises, no sales pressure and no disappointment. These were custom sized windows. I couldn't find these at the big box stores; they would have to be specialty ordered and then a contractor hired to install them. Zen Windows took two days to install my windows and trim. I paid for a quality product and the expertise to install it properly.

They did a great job. The windows look wonderful and they did an amazing job of keeping things neat and clean.
