The sales person was really nice and walked me through the quote and was able to get me on their schedule right then. The installer also walked me through any questions I had during the removal of the prior window and the installation of the new one. He did a great job.

I needed to replace my old basement windows and I wanted glass block. So I did some research and called WMGB. The appointment with the estimator (Chris) on the 23rd of September went quickly and efficiently. We reviewed the options, a price was agreed upon, deposit payed, and an appointment was set for the installation. I was to have my six basement windows replaced with five vented type and one dryer vent type. The total was 811.00 for all six windows installed. I found it fair since they would do all demolition, debris removal and professional installation the same day. The installer showed up and set right to work and kept going nonstop all the time he was at my house. He quickly and systematically removed the old windows passing as much debris out the window as possible to keep the rubble in my basement (and out through my kitchen) to a minimum. before I knew it he was mixing mortar to begin installation. I'm the son of a skilled tradesman so I know a pro when I see one in action. Bruce was a pro. He's a very pleasant man and made me comfortable with him working on my house. All in all a great experience! Many thanks to WMGB and especially Bruce whose hard work got my trashed old windows out and awesome new windows in!

They did an excellent job. They scheduled an appointment for an estimate, and the finished price was the same as the estimate given us. During the appointment we chose the style of windows we wanted from his samples. They requested 25% down and the balance upon completion. The appointment was scheduled for less than two weeks later. The worker arrived on time, and removed and replaced all 7 windows with the glass block windows in about 3-1/2 hours. He cleaned up before leaving, and the windows look great. We are very pleased and would use them again.

WMGB was great to work with. Their sales staff was laid back and did not pressure anything. They listened to our problem (leaking basement windows) and assured us that the glass block windows would stop all water leaks. Installation went smooth and the installer cleaned up after himself and was prompt. We have yet to have a rainfall significant enough to test the water seal - but we're hopeful.

WMGB is a great company! From the salesman who came and gave us the quote, to the gal in the office, to the installer, they were all professional, courteous, and wonderful to work with. The window and window well are absolutely fabulous - even the city building inspector told us he had never seen such a nice egress window! We got a number of quotes and this was the best price, but you could never tell by the results - it looks like we went with the highest bidder. We are extremely happy and would use WMGB any opportunity we can - and would recommend them highly.

They were a little over an hour late. When I called she explained they had to go get the windows first. I would have appreciated a phone call from the company letting me know. They got to the house about 9:30 and left a little after 5 p.m. The two installers could not have been nicer. They did an excellent job, respectful of my property, cleaned up after themselves. The windows are fantastic. Love them! I would use this company and their products again. This is my second time with them and I'm not disappointed. The would heartily recommend them.

The experience was good. The estimate was informational, professional and concise. The windows a solid product and the installation was clean and well done, the way a product installation should be.

It went well. They were about 45 minutes later than quoted. Very efficient and professional. It was cold out. The windows were out only long enough to be replaced. The cleaned up after themselves inside and outside. This was a good experience and as soon as I save up I'll get the other half of the house done. This company has done work for me before and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fair price and excellent installation.

.Installer was 3 hours late. This was a Saturday and the company was closed. I noted the intake person had written my phone number down wrong, the installer tried to call but was unable.

I stopped at showroom on Wednesday, the estimator visited the site and quoted on Thursday, and the window was installed on Friday. The installer did a great job, he is a highly skilled mason doing side work because of the economy. I was nice to get things done so quickly, and such a high degree of craftsmanship!

Chris showed up within the timeline stated, was very professional, discussed options, made suggestions and quoted the windows. We decided to go with the basement windows, an appointment was set up for the next day. The installer (Paul) called before coming to give me an idea of when he'd be there, which I appreciated. He came, scoped out the project with me and did his job. Paul cleaned up after himself, was very industrious, polite and friendly. I would, without hesitation, recommend WMGB.

I called the company for an estimate. The person I spoke with quickly made an appointment for someone to come out to my home and make an estimate. I received a friendly reminder call a few days prior. The installer (Paul) showed up right on time. He had all of the new windows with him and ready to install. He even brought an extra window in a different size, just in case he needed it. And he did! He was pleasant, had a sense of humor, was very quiet, and very polite. He spoke highly of his company, which I appreciated, and cleaned up everything before he left. He was very clear about what he did, what to expect, and let me know not to touch or open the windows for 24 hours. He seemed very proud of a great job.

I called for a quote on the windows. The salesman (GD) came to my house to measure and provide a quote. He was very affable. The quote was more than I hoped it would be, so I needed some time to think it over and make sure that it would work out for my budget at the time. To move things along, GD supposedly talked to his boss to get me $100 off the job but that did not materialize, because I was charged the $1,474 total for the job, the same as the original quote on 08.29.11. GD called numerous times - on one day alone I believe he called three times - to see if I wanted to do the job. At one point, he said that he even drove by my house to see if I was home, which is creepy. He said that his boss kept asking about where things were at with the job. It felt unnecessarily pushy. GD may have sped up the process a little, but I was going to use WMGB for the job anyway. GD does not represent the company very well...unlike Bruce, who was fabulous. Outside of the salesmanship, WMGB did a great job.

Our house is a large, 100 year old, downtown Grand Rapids house so the basement windows are large, approximately 3 feet wide by 2 feet tall. We tore out the old wood windows and sills and they installed the windows. We saved money by tearing out the sills ourselves, since they would need to undergo special lead paint precautions and as the homeowner we did not. We were given an approximate time of arrival and the person sent to do the work called promptly at that time to inform us he was behind on the previous job and gave us an updated arrival time. He called again when he completed the previous job to tell us he would be on time for the new arrival time. When he and his helper arrived they were courteous, friendly, and professional. The work was completed to our satisfaction and still within the time frame we were initially given, despite the slight delay from the installers previous job. As a side note, the windows were custom made by West Michigan Glass Block base on measurements taken during the estimate. The windows fit perfectly. To accomplish this they used several size glass blocks which were carefully assembled to form a symmetrical pattern. I particularly appreciated this attention to detail.

Great. No complaints. Clean up and professionalism was great. Outside of the great job I am still waiting for an estimate to come back on additional windows, soffits and vinyl wrap.

Estimate process with Dan was appropriate for the work that we needed - no long speeches and no hard sell. He was able to answer all of my questions and had plenty of information on the product they would be installing. Perfect! The install was done on schedule - very neat, very clean. The installer addressed my concern for getting the windows in level even though the original windows were not. Quality of the product is exactly what was described during the estimate. Very nice workmanship. I plan on hiring WMGB for more windows in the future.
