Do not hire them. They left debris at my property including large logs that ruined my lawn and landscaping and gave every excuse in the world for not removing the debris. I still have logs in my garden area. I had to pay another company to remove debris

They do great work and they'll real good about their prices are very reasonable, the only thing that sticks out in my head is he came by maybe two or three weeks later requesting payment when we had already paid him in full and I had to show him we had already paid him. There was something going on they were switching over to some kind of credit card thing and his mother was taking care of it, there was some miscommunication somewhere on his end but I really didn't liked that a lot.

He took down the tree as promised, but he never followed up with me about removing the tree's stump.  For this reason, I won't be using the company for future work.

If you are looking for the best price and are willing to put up with shenanigans, go with them. They are very unorganized with their crew and secretary. Called 4 different times and they said each time someone would be out to give me an estimate. Took two weeks before I finally just talked with the owner and he came out to give me a quote. The next day a different guy came out to give a quote because they had not communicated with each other that that had already been done. Surprisingly, they came to do their work the day after they gave me a quote. They did great work. They wanted me to pay cash which was a little weird because most people don't carry that much money, so I ran to the bank for them. To me it was worth all the unorganized delays because they did good work and charged me ALMOST HALF what another company quoted.

Alan came out to do the estimate the day after I requested it, and gave the best price, while other's did not even respond to my inquiries. Communication with Alan was easy. He and his crew arrived a half hour early. He had two teams, one working the front yard Maple, the other working the back yard Oak. From setup to clean up, they were done in less than two hours. Quality fast work while protecting other trees, shrubs, houses and power lines from damage.

We had a huge tree that was about 100 years old, we needed it cut down we were afraid it would fall. I had other quotes from other companies. Hill Top came right away and gave the best bid. They showed up when they said they would and were professional. I was very much impressed with their services. I would recommend them to any body.

I was ready to go with a different tree trimming company when Hill Top got a hold of my number through my lawn guy (which I didn't think was very professional). It ended up being a great decision. They were $350 cheaper than my first choice and they did a great job. Very professional on the job, answered my questions, and cleaned up the yard well after they were finished. They were a half an hour late, but that wasn't a big deal to me. The job took only a couple of hours and they were done the first time they came out. I would definitely recommend them.

Crew showed up to remove large tree that was next to my house in the backyard.  They used the cut and lower pulley system, but were not careful with all the limbs, letting some simply fall to the ground (at least one hit my roof).  They also weren't careful when dragging limbs from the backyard to the chipper and scratched the siding on my house (which I noticed later).  After a few hours, they seemed to be finished and only had the stump and some logs left to do.  Dave (the owner?) showed up and when I tried to pay him with a check, he insisted that he wanted cash.  I was miffed because now I would have to make a special trip to the bank to get him cash. I was assured that they would come out the next day to grind out the stump and remove the rather large logs that were lying around the yard.  The next evening, when I got home from work, nothing had been done, yet Dave stopped by to get his money.  Because the stump was still not ground out, I held back some money and told Dave he would get the rest when the job was completed.  Four days later, they still hadn't bothered to come out and finish so I called and was told by a lady that the axle on his truck broke and that is why there was a delay.  When I asked her why no one had called me, she said she would have if she'd known what jobs he was doing.  So his office doesn't keep track of where he is or what jobs he does and he wants cash only.  Seems shady to me.  Finally, nine days after they were originally out to remove the tree, two guys showed up to grind out the stump and remove the logs from the yard.  They made an absolute mess of the yard, with wood shavings everywhere and nothing raked up.  As they were leaving, one of them came to the door and tried to get me to pay them the rest of the money that I owed for the job.  I was very unhappy with the mess so I told him I wouldn't pay until I spoke to Dave.  He became very rude and stormed off.  When I got a hold of Dave a short time later, he said he would send someone out to clean up the mess and made excuses for the attitude of his workers, not apologizing for the rudeness or the delay in the job.  I would not recommend this company.  They were unprofessional, rude and their communication is horrible.

The company responded quickly and the crew was well organized and capable of handling large trees, but equipment problems began causing delays before the job was finished.  Phone calls were returned promptly, but rescheduled work times were not reliable.  Workers had to be called back to cut the 6th tree, saying they were unaware it was part of the contract.   After paying in full and being reassured that several large piles of mulch would be taken care of within the week, no one showed up or called.   After 2 weeks I called and was told they had called us and were told we would take care of it.  When I informed them no one called and I had never wanted to deal with the mulch from day one, they said they must have called the wrong number.  Someone came out that day, but spread the mulch in the middle of the yard instead of behind the garage as promised and left several small piles.
I also should have paid more attention to the one tree getting trimmed because all the lower branches were cut off and it's our only tree left.  I was assured it would look fine in the spring, but I have serious doubts.  The owner appeared well-intentioned, but follow up and communication within the company just isn?t good, equipment delays were numerous and work dates were not reliable.  If used, the  job will get done, but allow extra time and monitor closely.

If I hadn't been home, they wouldn't have done the job I was paying for. The crew, including cleanup, was there for an hour and 20 minutes. I shouldn't have needed to show them their job.I was very upset with how unprofessional and non-punctual they were
without even a phone call or an explanation as to why they were day(s) late. I won't use them again.

They are fast and efficient.  Cleaned up everything.  They took down two huge trees for my neighbor so mine was kind of a add-on job.

I really had a bad experience with this company. They first told me one price and after the job was finished, they told me another price. I didn't like that they changed the price after they completed the job. They just told me the new price and said that is what I had to pay. I will not recommend them.

They removed the tree on the day agreed upon, but did not grind the stump and said they'd be back the next day. I called daily for 7 weeks before the stump work was completed.

The contractor and his five man crew were awesome. They brought the right the equipment to do the work, so Little time was wasted looking for the right tools. The clean up was really good.

Crew of (5) showed up and made quick work of the tree. Put branches through chipper and raked up yard when they were done. Well done. Stump grinder came later in the day and, as expected, left piles of wood chips/dirt around the yard. Didn't do all the roots I wanted the first time. I called and they sent another person out to finish the job. Before leaving, they said they would return to level the piles of wood chips/dirt. When they didn't, I called and again they said they would return. They never did.

Crew arrived later than expected, but once here they completed the job quickly and efficiently. Each worker kept busy at all times and the owner stayed on site to supervise and work with them. Everyone was courteous and friendly. They did everything they promised, and at a competitive price.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY CUT ALL OF THE BRANCHES AND DID IT VERY NEATLY. THEY DID NOT MAKE A MESS. THEY DISPOSED OF ALL OF THE BRANCHES WHEN THEY WERE DONE.

THEY CAME ON TIME LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. I THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD TO BE REALLY CRAZY TO CLIMB THOSE TREES LIKE THEY DID, BUT THEY GOT THE JOB DONE.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. I THINK THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT CAN TRIM TREES THE RIGHT WAY SO THAT THEY DO NOT DIE FROM THE TRIMMING. THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THE WORK WITHOUT CAUSING ANY DAMAGE TO THE POWER LINES AROUND MY HOUSE.
