BILL'S PLUMBING & SEWER SERVICE

On April 9, 2018, we had Bill's Plumbing and Sewer Service out to clean the drain pipe from our kitchen sink which had slowed and then backed up. I found them on Angie’s List through the search “Plumbers - drain cleaning”. In the 25 years I’ve lived in this house, we’ve had this drain snaked about four times, but not recently (10 years). The plumber in previous clean outs went onto the roof and snaked down an unused bathroom stack next to the kitchen. Bill's Plumbing wouldn’t do this and snaked through the kitchen sink pipe. The Tech said he’d go out 50’ (albeit a smaller auger). This work did not fix the problem. The drain is still blocked and now we have another Plumber to come out to snake the drain. My husband talked with Bill's Plumbing this morning and they offer NO (partial) refund or credit for future work. I wouldn’t recommend this plumber if you have a job other than a very simple one. You’ll end up calling and paying someone else.

What I like best is that he?s my neighbor. I would recommend him to a friend. Everybody around here uses him.

They showed up when they said they would, they did the job as they said they would, and they didn't make a mess. The interaction with them was good, and the job turned out perfect. They did everything like they said they would.

I called Bill's Plumbing and set up an appointment on a Monday. I got a phone call a half hour after the time frame window and was told there was a water main break and I was asked if I still needed a plumber! Another appointment was made for a Monday. The plumber came out at the beginning of the time frame window. I was told a part needed to be ordered and I would get an estimate for the job. I called on Thursday because I still had not gotten a call about the job. I was told a plumber would call me back. I called the following Tuesday because I still had not heard back. I was told a plumber would call me back. Two weeks have gone by since the visit to assess the job (a bathtub drain leak and a kitchen sink leak). I can only assume this company is not interested in my business and does not have the professionalism or courtesy to tell me so.

They were awesome. They didn't try to scam us or do anything that they don't have to do. They tried talking us out of doing some stuff. We had a very good experience with them. I did not have a problem with them and I will hire them for any problem I will have.

When I made the call to get an estimate for a new water heater, they told me there would be a service charge if they had to make a special trip, but not if they were in the area for another reason. I said ok, whenever they had the time. We needed to know if the heater was gas or electric, what capacity it should have, etc. When they showed up at my mother's house (she's 75) they told her she didn't need a new water heater (we were going to replace it as preventative maintenance - the water heater is 11 years old). Then they noticed that she had turned the sump pump off, and she told them there was ice in the drainage hose (which my nephew was going to shake out). They went outside, shook the hose themselves, and told her she owed them $170.00. I wish I had been there to tell them to shove it. Unfortunately, I trusted them to deal fairly with my mother. I won't make that mistake again.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the workers that come out, when I called I was in such a panic that the owner I believe his name was Stan Moore calmed me down and assured me that he would get his crew out and get the problem fixed and to top it off it wasnt nearly as much as I thought it was going to be.

My wife and I bought a foreclosed home that has been on the market for some time because it would fail a pressure test when the price dropped we decided to take a look. the inspector ran a test and it failed so we called bills plumbing to take a look. They checked it out and said there's no problems visible when they ran a pressure test and discovered that someone turned on a wash tub sink on full and snappePd it off. After a quick fix they ran it again and it passed. Thanks to they're professionalism and honesty we got a dream home at an unbearable price. I was thinking we where going to get a run around. But nope just grate service.

My old 1957 house was not taken care of by previous owners but the young man who worked on the bathroom was very professional. He did an excellent job and finished in two to three hours. He also took all the trash with him.

They did make it out the same day that I called. I was very disappointed that they were unable to find the problem. They were suppose to come out the next day to give me an estimate on hooking up to city water. Since they could not make it out in the morning I decided to call other plumbers. To me, the fact that I was totally without water was a major concern. It did not seem to be a high priority to them. The other plumber that I called told me over the phone that it did not seem right that my well just stopped working without any warning signs. He made a suggestion to me and told me if his suggestion didn't work he would come out and check it out for me. Through his suggestion, I was able to find the problem and fix it myself for ten dollars. In my opinion, Bill's Plumbing should have been able to find the problem and fix it instead of leaving me without water for another day.

THEY CAME OUT AS SOON THEY COULD. THE SEWER WAS BACKING UP IN THE BASEMENT AND THEY TOOK GREAT CARE OF THIS PROBLEM. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP THE WATER IN THE BASEMENT FOR US. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.
