Terrible! For example, when I asked Mr. Paul Loshaw (the general manager) why his workers poured cement on my backyard lawn, he said "well they had to pour it somewhere". Except for Mr.Brian Pace (the Estimator") the "culture" of this company seems to be very condescending and/or worse. But for Brian's professionalism, courtesy and respect, this matter might have required legal action.

They were there on Wednesday and removed the wood privacy fence and put in all the posts for the vinyl fencing.  They returned on Thursday and leveled all the dirt between the posts and put up the white vinyl fence.  They are returning on Friday to install the driveway gate because that post needs to sit longer due to having a moving part on it.  They also put up some fencing across the driveway so that I could let my dogs outside.  The people at the office were courteous and the work crew was really great in answering all my questions.  I would again like to thank all of them for the wonderful fence that I have to enjoy in my backyard.

The quote process was very good with quick initial response and quick email follow ups.
The job prep of taking out the old chain link fence went very well and the new metal pols for the new fence were installed in concrete as they should be. Some firms do not put the metal poles in concrete but only pound them in.
The install also went great and the end results are super!

Had trouble finding a company willing to take on a small job, had an existing chain link fence that I needed a small portion of removed and then a new small portion installed in a different location, so this is the only reason I ended up using this company.
Their initial estimate I thought was pricey for the job and the measurements were completely inaccurate....by feet. I had to re-measure and essentially provided them with the estimate myself.
Then scheduling to have the work done was difficult, given the initial problems with the estimate I wanted to be present during the work to make sure it would get done accurately. The company gave me a very hard time regarding this and were bullying during the conversations trying to convince me otherwise and have the work done whenever they could fit in my 'small job'.
After several phone calls and two rescheduled dates the team finally showed up to complete the work. I had asked/made the company aware that I wanted to be present and involved when the work was being completed given the estimate and concern that the work would be completely inaccurately, to my chagrin I found the workers staring without even trying to knock on my door and talk with me. Further they were staking out a fence in the completely wrong area. When I did realize what was going on and went outside I had to inform the workers of exactly where the new fence needed to go and what old fencing needed removed. They informed me there instructions were once again completely inaccurate and wrong. Per their instructions they would have removed the wrong portion of fence and set up a fence in a wrong area. Thank goodness I made sure they were there or I would have had a whole in my original fence with a new fence in the wrong place.
Minus the actual labor I felt that I actually did most of their job, and did manage to get some money off of my final price given all of the errors, but the company was rude about the whole process, complaining about my small job and requests for wanting to be there and changing their wrong estimates.
I would never use this company again, and if you do, make sure to double check their measurements and be there on the day of the work so that you don't end up with the wrong stuff.

Ok - first - privacy precludes me from putting the actual price, let's just say it was more than the above.  This was in large part due to the materials we chose.
Anyway.....great experience overall!  The owner, Paul, was very helpful in figuring how to lay out the fence as we had a bit of a challenging lot (lots of curves).  I gave them a "B" on professionalism because Paul could be a bit snippy on the phone.
However....the crew who put in the fence was amazing and fantastic!!!  They were on time everyday, were there the days they said they would be.  The best part, though, is that these guys are really experienced and they work in very nice areas, such as Grosse Pointe, so they understand that you want your fence to not only be sturdy but to look nice.  I asked for their opinion about certain tricky areas and they came up with much better ideas than I had for how to handle them.
The finished fence is beautiful and really blends in and does not look like an "add on" - this is mainly due to the crew's smart ideas about how to install the fence.
Their experience really shows  - I highly recommend them!

Paul and his crew were professional, courteous, punctual and responsive.   A spectacular job that really gave our house some wonderful "curb appeal".  With the harsh winter, we had a problem with the gate and they promptly came out and fixed it at no cost!

I contacted Kimberly Fence for an estimate on a solid board fence.  They
called promptly and came over within a week to give me an estimate.  I
asked for two estimates for two different areas of the lawn and told
them what I had in mind for blocking the view between my lawn and the
lawn of my neighbors. He offered suggestions and did the research on
city ordinances to see if I could legally have what I wanted.
Their estimate was the same per foot as other companies that I had called,
and they seemed more professional so I chose them for the job.
When we agreed on the area to be fenced and the type of fencing that I wanted
they put me on their list of jobs...It took about 6 weeks for me to
reach the top of the list for installation.
I went to work one day and came home to a beautiful wood solid board fence, all installed and just perfect!
This company knows what they are doing and it was worth every dollar and day of the wait!
The young man that came over to take the measurements and offer advice was very professional.
I will be calling them back to close off the other end of the lawn and install a gate next year.
Stayed on budget and worth every dollar spent!!

Contacted company via email with drawing of the work I needed done. Company took around 2-3 days to get back to me with a quote. Quote seemed a little high compared to some other companies, but Kimberly fence was one of the better review companies on angieslist. Deposit was paid at their office and I was told that the job was small enough to do in-between other jobs. I emailed the next day and stressed that the work needed to be done by the weekend if possible. They responded back the same day and said they would try hard to get it done, and at the very least they would be able to get the posts in. Two days later and I arrived home to three brand new gates. Kimberly  Fence did a great job and I will probably use them again when I am ready to replace the back fence.

Paul came by to do the estimate the same day I called them since he was in the area. He was the first estimate I had done and I wasn't very clear on exactly what I wanted at that time so there was alot of follow-up emailing & calling from that the initial visit until I actually signed the contract. I had 3 other bids, but I felt Kimberly fence was most concerned about quality and they turned out to be the best price too (some other companies wanted to charge me a similar price or only slightly lower for a pine fence; for cedar everybody was more than them). I must've emailed or called Paul 6-8 times and he always answered his phone and/or replied to my emails right away. Once I finally signed the contract, they applied for the permit right away and once they had the permit, the started the fence the very next week. Paul told me they had a large job coming up that would tie them up for 3 weeks, so he worked hard to fit me in before that and worked around my schedule to make sure I was home the first day they started. The guys who actually built the fence were very patient with my questions and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted. They also went out of their way to show me things about the fence that I didn't realize too. They did hit the sprinkler system while digging (no way they could've known were the line was) but they made sure to mark those posts with a string and left the broken pipe exposed so it could be easily accessed and fixed. There was a little miscommunication on the type of post, they initially brought the wrong ones but they fixed it right away (because Paul always seems to answer his phone). They also did an excellent job dealing with a part of our yard that has a severe slope, they hand-cut the boards on site and it looks great. I am very pleased with the appearance of our new fence and with their responsiveness & customer service.

Very professional, courteous and creative fence company.  They were actually recommended by another fence company (that I found on Angie's List) because of the complexity of our design.  You couldn't find a nicer person than the owner.

From the moment Paul at Kimberly Fence picked up my phone call and answered it after 5:00 p.m. I just had the feeling that my experience with Kimberly Fence was going to be a good one.  Paul made himself available on Saturday morning to travel to our house for a quote, was EARLY to the appointment and walked the property in the rain to discuss the project with me for over an hour.  We interviewed other companies, got additional bids and based on the information we received, Kimberly's price was fair.  Given that the prices were within a reasonable range of each other, we chose Kimberly because of the initial  interaction with Paul.  With the date approaching for install, Kimberly had contacted Miss Dig well ahead of time and lines were staked out.  On the day of install, the project manager Brian arrived on time and discussed the plan with me.  The fence involved navigating a tricky line of trees; Brian was able to figure that out and was able to come up with some aestetically pleasing solutions.  The crew followed Brian's directions, the job site was kept clean and our elderly neighbor's adjacent property was respected.  We had a communication glitch on the placement of the gate, but Paul and Brian were very responsive and it was immediately adjusted without any additional cost or trouble.  They wanted to make sure we were happy.  Overall, Kimberly does a great job and does what they say they are going to do.  Recommend them highly.

Jack, the estimator, came out within 24 hours of my first call. He was prompt, personable, thorough and courteous. He explained all the repairs that he thought were necessary and had an estimate emailed to me the day after his visit with a diagram of all repairs he deemed necessary and the estimated repair cost. The work was done within 18 days of the estimate.

The 2 men who did the work were courteous and efficient. They looked at the estimate diagram and determined that not all that had been estimated needed to be repaired and proceeded to repair what was necessary.  This was a first for me. I have never had a contractor recommend that less be done than was originally estimated. This saved me almost $400!!  The work was well done and the workers cleaned up after themselves. They also took care to disturb as little landscape as possible.

I would definitely recommend Kimberly Fence & Supply to anyone who is interested in having a new fence installed or having repair work done..

They were prompt, very professional, and they installed a good quality gate for us. I liked how the workers were very respectful of the area by which they did this in, and the follow up they gave us to make sure everything was working correctly was a serious plus. I don t have a problem recommending this contractor to anyone.

THEY DID NOT USE CEMENT TO HOLD THE POST IN THE GROUND. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN THE MAN IN CHARGE STARTED TO GET LOUD WITH ME. EVENTUALLY HE CAME OUT, BUT STILL DID NOT DO THE WORK. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO FINISH THE JOB.
