Everything went very well.
Description of Work: We hired Wallside for our windows based on the quality of the windows and the 35 year transferable warranty.We had 115 year old oak windows and it was just time for them to be retired. On the new windows I was concerned about the windows of family and friends where they had a window seal gave out and they stated the contractor would not come out and fix it. Wallside has a reputation of standing by their windows as evidence by other website reviews we found. So far it has been two years since we got our new windows and we absolutely love them. The winters have not been very bad these last two years but we have had no problems at all out of any of the windows. We have a second floor and the windows are cleanable from the inside and the screens are adjustable from the inside. No more ladders! So quality and and after sale support is what sold us on these windows. The bid was higher than local contractors but the after sale support was the winner.

Description of Work: The installers were at my home from 11am to 9pm. When they left, there was caulk on the walls and floors throughout my home. The windows were filthy, and the caulking job was absolutely terrible. There were big globs in some areas, and gaping holes in other areas. I am very disappointed. We have called to ask that it be fixed, and were told that we would be hearing from Wallside to schedule this. We have not heard back from Wallside yet. I hope they will fix the problems.

THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB INSTALLING OUR WINDOWS. THE FIRST NIGHT THE WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED IT RAINED AND THE WINDOWS LEAKED WATER ALL OVER THE HARDWOOD FLOORS (WHICH ALMOST CAUSED WATER DAMAGE).

The salesman who gave me the estimate was very professional and was completely no pressure. He was in and out of my house in an hour. The installers were on time (8 am) and did the work on a very snowy and cold day, and despite the weather, and the difficulty of the old windows being removed (steel pan windows, which had to be cut out of my walls) they finished the job in less than a normal 8 hour work day. I love my windows, it was well worth the investment.
