Great. They were very professional--came when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, and had a large crew which tore off my roof and installed a new one in about five hours!

Awesome experience. Shingles delivered day before. Dumpster showed up at 8 am. Crew of 10 arrived at 8:30. They were completely done and out by 1 pm. Everything was totally cleaned up and job was perfect.

It went very well. They did a great job.

Work was done as scheduled. One day for year off and install start to finish. Company did a good job. Cleaned up well after the job.

They arrived promptly in the morning and got started. They were done before noon. The yard and work area were cleaned up.

Would definitely recommend to others. Why? 1. Very competitive price not lowest but lower middle of all estamates. 2. Good communication between company and myself, for example received copies of city permits in email. 3. On time I was given a time for dumpster drop off and when crew would arrive both right on time. 4. Crew went straight to work had a complete tear off and replacement they started at 830 am and they were cleaning up at 130 pm. 5. Clean up was good found very few small scraps anywhere around the house. 6. Did not require ANY deposit in fact roof was done and crew gone before I was contacted about payment which we set up for the next day.

The dumpster was delivered as promised, and hauled away the same day. They sent me addresses so I could look at completed roofs for color. On the day of the scheduled work, they sent out 2 crews and were done in 5 hours. The two crews were sent out due to a prediction of 90 degree temps. They want to satisfy their customers, and keep their crews healthy. The crew members were able to work in shifts. The cleanup was thorough.

No service performed as Oak Roofing declined to perform services.

Went well, they even coordinated their work so another company could do insulation work at the same time the roof was open.

Exceptional staff that arrived early (roofing materials delivered the previous day) and completed the job by 4:30pm. They installed forty squares of shingles.

Referred by a neighbor (who maintains the best house on our street). Owners answered my inquiry regarding a replacement roof. They were very professional and patient in answering all of my questions, and in exploring multiple options. Their quote was competitive, service was prompt, and the entire replacement was completed (with cleanup) in less than one day. Required a minor follow up, which they addressed the very next day. The true test of quality of work and satisfaction is that our leak in first floor ceiling is completely dry (which was recently tested by heavy rains). If you have to leave a voicemail or two, it's because they're popular (well worth the follow up). Also ask them to confirm estimated delivery timing of their roof materials (day or two prior to job). Would highly recommend Oak Roofing to other friends and neighbors.

The work was completed the same day and I have recommended Oak Roofing to friends of ours.

The price quote was in the middle of the three quotes obtained. The company was recommended to me by daughter who was also very satisfied with results. The initial price quote was not really negotable and did include obtaining city required permit. Upon receiving communication from city that permit was not obtained prior to job being done, I called company and the situation was corrected within 24 hours. Found individuals I dealt with in company to be efficient and honored promises. Only suggestion I would make is to make sure that permit, if required, is obtained before job starts.

Told 92 yrs old homeowner roof needed complete repair otherwise it would leak through. Gave estimate for new roof; called another roofer for comparative price;told no problem with roof, holding up quite well. Original roofing co is Richards Roofing. Also called and relayed this info to hijm.

I called Oak Roofing to obtain an estimate on installing an attic ventilator. They were responsive and provided a competitive estimate. Once I obtained the ventilator, I called several times to schedule the install. They did not return any phone calls. I guess they weren't interested in being paid... Found someone else, at an even better price!

They did an excellent job! They completed the job in one day, as promised. They cleaned up all of the debris, and took it with them. The type of roof and the color improved the overall look of the house in particular. The estimate stated that rotten wood would be replaced at a specific cost, which was only an increase of $120 of the initial estimate. Well worth it!

Last summer, we asked Oak Roofing to give an estimate about soffit vent to solve the problem of insufficiency ventilation of our house. Couple days later in July 2008, Oak Roofing company sent one person to my house for a quote. He checked roof and house condition, submitted a quote of 11 vents and each vent is $35 because it's 2nd floor vent. The project was done and we paid to Oak Roofing company on the same day when job was done. Last week, another contractor came in for another attic project and told me that the size of soffit vents done by Oak Roofing was too small to allow sufficiency ventilation. I was surprised to know that. I called Oak Roofing about the vent opening size. I was told that I paid for 11 vents and Oak Roofing company did 11 vents without any quality issues. Drilling 3 holes to create a vent opening is their standard procedure. And if I wanted, they will come to open more vent with same procedure and same price. The point is that 11 vents were from Oak Roofing evaluation. I AM NOT a professional person to TELL Oak Roofing how many vents my house needs. My understanding is that I paid Oak roofing as professional persons to fix the problem. When they said they would add 11 vents, to my understanding, those extra 11 vents will be providing sufficient inlet air flow after job got done. ****************** Detailed calculation from some research I did: My attic floor is about 1200 sq feet. I did some research online and got the basic rule of thumb is 1/300, meaning that for every 300 square feet of attic floor space being ventilated, one square foot (144 square inches) of net free air flow must be present in both inlet and outlet vent capacities. For areas insulated without a vapor barrier, that ratio doubles to 1/150. Using 1/300 rule, 1200/300=4 sq feet = 576 sq inches. The house needs gross opening of 576 sq inches. Oak roofing did 11 vents. Each vent has 3 holes. Each hole's diameter is 3 inches. Approximate area of each hole is 7 sq inches. The "gross" opening that Oak Roofing created is 3x11x7=233 square inches. It's less than half of 576 sq inches.

After I called and made an appointment, they gave me a tentative start date. If due to heavy raining or other non-workable weather they will shift all appointments to be fair with everyone. They delivered the shingles onto the roof one day before and came in early in the morning to tear down the old roof. There were seven or eight of them and they finished the tearing and cleaning at about noon. Then there were three continuing on putting on the shingles (they started once enough old singles had been removed in the morning). It was a relatively large roof and they finished it at about 5:15 pm. They took the time to have the work done right. For example, they run out of spray for the pipe to match the shingle color. One did a mixing onsite and tried on a board before applying it. They also paid attention to details. For instance, I asked them to nail a couple of loose vinyl siding to the wall. They did it and also caulked the nails such that water won't get in.

I would recommend them. They were very pleasant and nice. I wasn't afraid to have them around. They got the job done fairly quickly. I felt the price was fair. They presented themselves well.

What a very professional company these men are. They came right out and stripped my roof, replacing the shingles in record time. The roof works perfectly, and looks really nice as well. The price they charged me was excellent and although I hope to never have to use them again, I wouldn t hesitate one bit in doing so.

It was done in one day and the crew was here early and ready to work. They completed the roof and cleaned up after. Also, no loud music or verbal conversations you don't care to hear about was greatly appreciated by us and the neighbors. Several neighbors thought the roof looked great and were impressed by the timely order they did the work in.

If I were having a new roof put on my house, I would definitely hire Oak Roofing.

Contractor was easy to deal with. Arrived as promised to make initial quote. Work was performed on date promised and was done in a timely manner. Price was best of several quotes. Only less favorable comment would be that their clean up could have been better. Quality of work looks very good, but only time and bad weather will tell if it is truly good.

They did an adequate installation of shingles, however the power vent was incorrectly wired, the roof vents were poorly spaced, the cleanup after completion was less than satisfactory, and the chimney flashing initially looked terrible, although it was corrected later in the week. I expected a much more professional job after seeing the comments on Angie's list and extensive list of references they presented with their quote. I guess everybody just has to have a bad day!

The workers did a very nice job. The roof looks beautiful. My only complaint would be that the workers do a better job at picking up the nails. They did go over everything with a magnet, but I still found a lot of nails. Overall I would recommend them to family and friends.
