Bret Young and his helper Kevin with Allan Heating and Cooling installed a new furnace for us on April 1st, he seems be very nice and honest, first he did not provided us an invoice until we asked for, He said that he provided one yrs labor and two yrs free maintenance on the invoice. Somehow the furnace stopped working on April 5th, we called him, but he did not call us back after many txt message and phone calls, We have other service person came to check and said that he never completely the installation as he did not screwed the door back plus some loose cable. We txt him again today and ask him to come back to double check his installation, he said that he will call the city as we did not get a permit to install new furnace, I reminded him that he was supposed to pull permit for installation if he is licensed. He said that he has been down this road before with customers who think they are smarter and better than everyone else, he just hooked up appliance for a fee, he said in the eyes of the law as if I remember that I wrote him a personal check, I reminded that we have a contract. He said that he will call the city and the city will punish the customer for the non permitted HAVC install, not him, Actually the city said that is his responsibility to pull permit for installation if he is licensed. Please be aware of Bret Young's Scam as he is not going to go back to fix if there is a problems with his installation due to he gave you a good price and said that you are too cheap to pay and find someone else to fix for you.
