Oakley Heating and Cooling

In the process of replacing my furnace, they screwed up my air conditioner. We are in the dead heat of summer and they refuse to come out and look at it without charging us; even though I just paid them almost $3000 to replace the furnace yesterday. Very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

It had been a very hot and humid stretch of weather, with lots of people having trouble with their air conditioning. Our the furnace fan would intermittently stop even though the AC compressor was still running and the set temperature had not been reached. Mark Oakley showed up before noon on the same day we called for service. He diagnosed a "tired" furnace fan motor, had the replacement part on his truck with him, installed it and was gone within one hour. He also gave us lots of general information about air conditioning and heating equipment. We didn't shop around for price in this semi-emergency situation, so I didn't rate the price he charged. We were very grateful for the quick response and the working AC!

They are fairly priced and honest. The worker was the owner. He was very good.

There were a couple of issues that were handled promptly, though after the second or third call the owner was losing patience. Turned out to be a legit problem and was fixed.

My wife was getting an operation the next day and the furnace went out and they came and installed a new furnace the same day.

It was routine; the workers were friendly.

The were very professional and friendly the are very helpful to explain all never hesitate to answer all the questions . Did very good job

Greatest people on the planet.  They were here in September 2015.  We thought the warranty check was free.  We just didn't know that an additional charge, and that was kind of disappointing but other than that they're just great people.  I would give them a B for the warranty check.  They're always there, like we had problems like the first time we turned on the furnace and his wife was able to diagnose the problem over the phone.  They were spot on when they came to install.  They are bonded and certified.

Mark (the owner) is a great guy, and very knowledgeable.  He came out the day of the install and went over all the details of the job with Josh and Dalton, the installers.  They arrived on time and went right to work, very courteous and professional.  They removed the old furnace and installed the new furnace & A/C on that first day, and we had heat that night.  They did a good job and worked till 6pm.  The next morning they arrived on time and began working on the new hot water heater which was installed in a timely manner.  It took some time to get the gas line connected and after the guys had left, my husband did his own test on the connections (sprayed them with soap solution) and yes, it was leaking in two places.  Called Josh back and after several more tries, said it was good, tested and not leaking.  Again, we sprayed the connection with soap, and bubbles appeared....small leak.  So my husband disconnected the soft line they put in himself and capped it off. After trying to call the office, no answer,  I emailed the office and told them it was leaking and that we had some concerns with the install, but it was after 5:30 on Friday night and I just requested that Mark come out and inspect the job on Monday.  Kim responded to the email within a couple of hours and said Mark and Josh would be out on Monday to inspect, and they were there promptly on Monday.  Our concerns were not only the leak, but there was one of the cold air return duct work that was not securely connected and should have been sealed.  Also he ran the condensation drain tube to our plastic washtub by the washer and he secured it with a screw (drilled a hole in our washtub), he later siliconed around the screw head.  Also cut a hole in the wall for the new cold air return duct, which of course had to be done, but the hole was very oversized and unsightly...no way to really fix that.  So the gas line was replaced and secured on all connections, the duct work was sealed and secured at the loose connection and the screw in the washtub was sealed with silicone.  Mark quoted us a very good price and gave us every rebate available ($600 in rebates!)  He also threw in a wifi thermostat which I can schedule and program from my smart phone....love it.   He wants his customers to absolutally satisfied with their products and work done and in the end, we are....it just took a couple of trips to get us there.

Prompt, professional, worked with us to determine the proper purchase. The crew was professional, they completed a quality job, cleaned up completly when finished. Wonderful experience. Will recommend and would use this company again. I couldn't be more pleased.

We called Kim and Matt on a Sunday, Matt came to our house right away, and started to fix the problem,

it was the coldest day  of the winter, we were very worried, matt has tried very hard to repair the

heater, getting the replaced parts, he is very friendly and professional, he is very good at what he does, he

has identified the problem right away, after getting all the needed part, he has fixed the problem and

explained to us clearly what was wrong with our heater. I am very impressed by Matt and Kim, they are

good people.

Mark and Kim (Owners) were extremely helpful in answering all questions I had and did not in any way make me feel that my questions were silly or unnecessary.  No pressure, all decisions were mine.  Very friendly and personable.

After researching many different companies we chose Oakley. We like the quality of a Trane and Mark offered the best price. He also threw in a humidifier for free. The crew was punctual and complete everything on time. 2 weeks later we accidentally blew out a small fuse on the furnace. We called Mark and he and his wife Kim were willing to stop by on their way home from a trip away (a 4-hour drive). It was a Sunday and we really appreciated them making the extra effort to help us! We were pleased with their service and would recommend them.

First of all, I noticed on Sunday evening that it was getting chilly in my home. I knew I had to go to work at 7:30 in the morning

and did not want to miss a whole day of work to get this fixed. I called several local companies and no one answered.

I was up early and called one popular company and they could not tell me at that time when someone could be at my house.

I called Oakley Heating and Cooling and Kim Oakley said she would have someone at my house at 9am. I had explained

that I needed to go to work as soon as I could. Mark Oakley showed up exactly at 9 and began working. He found my ignitor

was broken and hoped once he replaced that, that it would work, but unfortunately it blew out again. He explained how it

could be spider webs in the tubing that would not allow enough fuel to reach the ignitor. Well that kind of grossed me out, I don't like spiders! Mark said "No! that would be great if that's all it was." He cleaned out the spiders nest but that was not the issue. He figured out that I needed a new board. He took off and went to his parts dealer and was back in 30 minutes. He took the time to explain how the air should actually blow and helped me with my thermostat so it worked properly. I was able to get to work in the morning and not have to mess with this situation all day. He was very professional as was his wife. I highly recommend this

company, I will use again. I live in a mobile home and some companies just do not want to do work on our homes. Give these

guys a try, you will be highly satisfied.

After researching different companies we decided to go with Oakley. It was a combination of quality for price and brand, and we liked that they were a family owned business. Very professional people, yet kind with a sense of humor. Overall, we had a very good experience with their service.

Back in 2006 I hired Oakley Heating and Cooling to install an air cond, hot water tank, air cleaner and humidifier and paied approx 3,900. After he left there was water leaking from somewhere. I called him back to fix the leak and HE COULDN'T FIND WHERE THE LEAK WAS COMMING FROM AND LEFT. I called him back a few days later and the  same thing. Eventually the leak stopped so I let it go. At the time I didn't think to have his insurance repair part of my berber carpet which got water damage. The reason I'm complaining now is that in Feb I noiced a  leak again so I called Oakley. I explained, I believe to his wife, about my situation and that after all there years it was leaking again because it was never fixed. She said Mark would come over and check it out. I called on a Fri and he came by on a Mon. He didn't call before he came and when he did I had gone on an errrand. When I came back he said the water pump was pluged up and he unpluged it with a coat hanger, about 10 min worth of work. He charged me $85.00 for a servicve call. I got pretty upset because nobody informed me of a service charge. I figured he was fixing a leak that wasn't  fixed in the first place. It seems to me he  could care less about establishing good relations with his customers but only in making money, he said his hourly rate is $100.00

The technicians started right on time and were done by mid-afternoon.  Unfortunately they installed the wrong unit.  However, by the following week a new unit was installed and all was good.

Excellent. Much cheaper than 2 other bids. Did excellent work.
