Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's

The price quote process was very through. Every bit of the work to be done was explained and each item was listed individually so we could see the cost. Since we had a powered attic fan installed, the workers did all their entry into the attic from there which saved the mess and hassle of going through the attic access in our master bedroom closet. The workers did all the work in one day. They used some spare house paint I had to paint the soffet vents, which was a nice touch.

The owner came out and gave us the estimate and what we needed done.It was all very professional.

This company was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. George was early for the appt. to give me a quote (LOVE THAT) and encouraged me to come up into the attic so he could explain to me the things that were wrong. He provided great information and, various, options so that I could tailor the work. They were able to come out the following week to do the work. They arrived, on time, were super curteous and friendly and got right to work. They arrived at 8:30am and worked, nonstop, until 6:30pm. They cut access panels so that any future contractors could access the attic from the garage rather than having to come in to my bedroom closet (previously the only house attic access). I had planned to go up into the attic and take a look around to see all the work they did, mostly just for my own curiosity since I knew how BAD it was, before, but after climbing up and seeing all the new insulation and how far there was to travel, up there, I decided that was enough for me! LOL My husband complimented them and said they were, very, professional and he avoids having to deal with contractors at all cost! I definitely recommend this company and THANK THEM SO MUCH for the GREAT WORK!

George was one of several companies I contacted. One company never even returned my call. George was terrific in taking time for me to throughly understand the scope of work to be done. The crew that showed up were very pleasant and clean. A++

Estimate: Grade A+ George was out at my house within 72 hours of me calling to request an estimate. George arrived on time if not early and had all his own equipment necessary to provide a complete inspection of my attic. I found George to be very educated on both attic insulation and ventilation. George recognized and addressed many problems in my attic that were causing issues (previous mold growth). George was quick to provide a remedy for the issues at a reasonable price. Mind you George was the fourth company I had out to look at my attic and provide an estimate, I found George to be in the middle if not one of the cheaper estimates when it came to both the ventilation and insulation. George not only provided a written estimate yet he took the time to sit down and walk me through the problems and the repairs needed. George did a great job of presenting the options yet a no time did he try to "hard sell" me on anything. Communication: A+ Following the estimate George provided me with his personal cell phone to answer any additional question I may have had after our meeting. George returned my phone calls in a timely manner and was always very professional. Day of install: A+ George and his wife arrived again right on time if not early (8am). They were very professional and pleasant to work with. They came prepared for the job and had all the necessary equipment to properly complete the job. They took extra efforts to keep my house clean by placing down tarps and rugs to protect the floors. At every step of the install George was there to answer any and all of my questions. George asked me several times to inspect his work to ensure everything was being completed to my standards, which it was. At the end of the job, George and his wife cleaned up the house and the outside like they were never even there. George then provided me with a receipt and paperwork to properly apply for the Consumers Energy $300 rebate. They were gone by (4pm) I will never work with anyone other than George for any of my attic issues in the future. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND George and the Attic Pros to anyone needing attic ventilation or insulation work.

All interaction with George Zentz and his workers was very professional at all times. All work performed was exactly what was quoted and the area was thoroughly cleaned up upon completion. He knows his business and, while the price may have seemed somewhat high, George stands behind his work and has been very responsive when problems have arisen. He spent over two hours of his own time making improvements to the whole house fan assembly and would not take any money for the work that he did. George's work is certainly worth the value charged! I would not hesitate to have George Zentz (Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's ) back for additional work at any timed required. Excellent service from the initial phone call contact to the home inspection by the business owner, George Zentz, to the excellent work crew of Jason and Justin. I could not be happier with the work done and greatly appreciate the professionalism of this company. The rationale for the work to be done was explained thoroughly. Price was competitive with other contractors. This is an honest, well run company, and it was a real pleasure to have them do work on my home. I would hire them again.

Called 3 Angie's List Contractors for quotes to improve the insulation and ventilation of our attic - all came responded and came out w/in a week. The 3 quotes were different, but believe any would have done a good job. The reasons we went with Attic Pros was 1) very clear George understood attics and insulation and was specific in the exact work to be done and why (e.g. 66 baffles, 24 vents, 10 inches insulation, add an fan for summer heat removal, etc.) 2) when I called back with questions he answered them logically and factually. The work was scheduled and they showed up on-time and worked for the entire day. I talked to the 2 installers extensively throughout the day and they explained what they were doing and why. There was an issue with the exhaust fan and they had to return about 1 week later to re-install. The jobsite (our house and attic) ended up being clean, the installation was professional, and installers were definitely proud of the job they did. End result is the job was done right, it was easy, and I would recommend Attic Pros to anyone getting this kind of work done.

I was happy to post this positive review on Angie's List as I had a very positive experience, but seeing the 35+ other positive reviews, I guess Attic Pros has been doing great work for a long time. Got a quote for the work to be done and was given options on what we could get and George was great at explaining the positives and negatives of each option. I never felt pressured to being "sold to" by George. All straight answers. He was very knowlegeable about tax and utility company credits and rebates. While inspecting for the quote, he even adjusted our attic fan setting as it was running too often. We compared his price to another reputable contracter and was right in line. His crew showed up on time, was very curteous, did great work and cleaned up well after themselves that we couldn't tell they were there. Very positive experience. Only negative is that it took 3-4 weeks to get them over to do the work due to their backlog. Not a problem for us, but if you are in a pinch to get work done, call early. It's worth the wait.

They set a date once we accepted the bid. They showed up on the date and time they said. The installers were very attentive to my concerns and brought any questions they had to me to make sure I was in agreement with what they planned to do. They were professional, clean and left my home as if they had never been here.

George, the estimator was very informative and spent alot of time with us explaining insulation & ventilation. His cost was also lower than 2 of the 3 other estimates that I had done. The crew that did the installation was very professional, happily answered any questions, and worked efficiently.

George came at the end of August to provide an estimate and to walk me through what he was going to work on. I live in a bungalow with a finished second floor. I looked at 4 different companies to estimate that work and none of them proposed to blow insulation thoroughly above my ceiling. George, the owner, came in and walked me through the details of what I was imagining, not less. His quote came at about the same level as the other one for twice the level of details and work. I signed up a couple days later without even negociating the price. His crew came in on time at 8 am. They worked non stop until 3pm refusing the several attempt we made to feed them :). George was so knowledgeable with the sales pitch. His crew were on time, professional and so nice to my 84 year old dad who let them in and stayed while they worked. Couldn't have asked for a better crew!

George and his crew are top notch, A+. They are extremely knowledgeable in how an attic should be properly vented and insulated. Suprisingly, many other contractors do not know how it should be done, and even though they have been in the business for 20+ years, they have been doing it wrong all along. George ends up corecting a lot of the mistakes the other guys install because they either take shortcuts, or they don't know any better. George knows how to troubleshoot your attic, and get to the bottom of your problem(s). My house is much cooler since he fixed my ventillation & insulation system, and I am sure my roof will last years longer. George was very patient and responsive to all of my questions. He came out to correct a minor issue free of charge after the work was completed. His crew is EXTREMELY clean. All of the insulation was blown into the attic from the hole where the new power vent was added, so no mess inside the house. They even brought their own vacuum cleaner, so there was literally no trace they ever came into my house. I was amazed. A lot of people think they are being "green" by driving an electric car or a hybrid. While this helps the environment a lot, you can save even more money (and be more environmentally friendly) by simply venting and insulating your house properly. I liked that they did not have sub contractors. They seemed very knowledgeable and professional. They were recommended to us by a roofing company.

They were very honest and forth right. They explained everything to us well. Another person came after him to give a quote and they were at least a $1000 more and not the same quality of work. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a great experience with this company. We had insufficient insulation and little to no ventilation in our attic, which resulted in some mold and mildew. Not a lot and nothing dangerous. We had an estimate done by one of those companies that goes door to door offering these types of services, but the guy was very sleazy and acted like your stereotypical salesman. I was completely turned off and started looking elsewhere. Someone recommended Attic Pros and I scheduled them for an estimate. Whoah! Like night and day. The owner came out and was an awesome guy. No pressure, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The estimate he came up with was a good chunk less than what the door-to-door company was estimating. We had them come out and they completed the job in a matter of a few hours. Very courteous, quick and efficient. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. Would definitely recommend and use again if I ever need to.

The crew arrived first thing in the morning, answered all my questions, and was very professional. They painted the new vents to the house color using paint I had which added a nice touch of quality to the job. The crew was done on time and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I would hire them again; hopefully I won't have to.

The job went smoothly and professionally from estimate to completion. It weas complted one week after the in home estimate. They performed the job just as the proposal read. Iwas happy with the whole process and would definitely refer anyone to the company. The owner, George is an upfront trustworthy guy. George Zentz convinced us that high-quality cellulose is the best solution for adding insulation in a home. He answered our many questions knowledgeably and clearly. Because our attic space is large and chopped up, ours was an all day job. George and his wife arrived early in the morning and finished late afternoon. He spent several hours prepping the attic space: tacking down wires, attaching bathroom fans to newly installed vents, boxing out heat lamps, and installing baffles between every truss. Then it took many more hours for him to blow in the insulation into every space. We believe he did a thorough and careful job. We recommend this company.

I had received an estimate from another company for less insulation, no soffit vents and no roof fan for approximately the same price. I found George Zentz's company on Angie's List and contacted them for an estimate. George came out the next day and conducted a thorough examination going into the attic, which was not done by the first company. He then spent about an hour explaining what he felt we should have done. He answered all my questions, was very friendly and informative. He told me the options I could select with the cost of each one. I was impressed by his knowledge and attitude. I made my decision and scheduled a date. George told me who would be doing the work and their experience. The installers arrived exactly at the appointed time and completed the job in less time than I expected. They were very professional and explained an additional thing they added (at no extra cost ) and cleaned up perfectly. They even removed and disposed of some old doors and TV antenna from the attic. The price was as estimated and I could not have been happier with the results. I would highly recommend the company "Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's".
