Professional, courteous, on time and cleaned up after the job was complete. George Zentz even left the Consumers Energy rebate form for us to submit. Great job from start to finish.

Excellant job overall. George Zentz, the owner, personally came out to quote the job. He was very professional and spent the time necessary to look over the house and gave us various options as far as insulation thickness, pros and cons of cellulose and fiberglass insulation, ventilation requirements, pricing, available rebates and timelines to schedule and complete the work. He took the time to answer all of my questions. He was not pushy at all. My neighbor and I both obtained quotes. It took a couple of weeks to obtain quotes from other companies. With these quotes came additional questions. George took the time over two additional phone calls to answer these questions. George was not the least expensive but both my neighbor and I felt he was the most knowledgable overall and his prices were very reasonable. We both scheduled with him to have the work performed. His workers came out on time and performed the job as quoted. They were very cautious to make sure they did not make a mess and the foreman of the job took time to answer additional questions. Due to the construction of the house they were not able to add soffit vents that were planned. This pricing was taken off the quote. Upon discussion with George as to my options we agreed on the addition of more roof vents and came to a price. His work crew came out two weeks later to perform this work. Again, at the scheduled time. I highly recommend Attic Insulation and Ventilation Pro's. As the work was accomplished almost three months ago I have seen a definate drop in heating costs this year. I am very please with the overall job.

I called to ask for an estimate. A date and time was selected and George arrived on time. He is very polite and professional. An estimate was provided, as well as a few suggestions. I didnt feel there was an 'upselling' at all. Several suggestions were made by George with no pressure. I decided to go with the R-60 and a solar vent fan for the attic. I decided to go with Attic Pros and an Installation date was set for Feb 4th 2013.It was a snowy morning and the crew was a few minutes late, I wasnt worried about it. The crew was very apoligetic for arriving late. They began work immediately, they were professional and friendly. The work was completed timely and cleaned up. The crew pointed out a few items, such as an enclosed attic space that was missed in the intial estimate. The crew opened it up and added insulation as well as a few extra baffles, in an effort to makeup for them being a few minutes late. Overall I was very pleased with the work done.

The first FHA inspection on my home brought up the issue of mold in the attic. I called the Attic Pros to give me an estimate, and they were able to come out that very night to check on the mold issue. As I had a deadline to get the job done, they were able to fit it into their schedule so that the mold was completely taken care of ahead of my next inspection. The FHA inspector also stated that I possibly had asbestos in the vermiculite insulation. I did research on the vermiculite. Talking to an asbestos tester, I was told that 9 times out of 10, the vermiculite comes back as negative for asbestos - - but the EPA states they have to state it as positive nevertheless. The EPA also states the best way to handle the situation is to encapsulate the vermiculate, as moving it is more of a danger. So I talked to the Attic Pros regarding the installation of insulation to encapsulate the vermiculate. Again, they were able to handle the job in a very timely manner at a very good price. George, the Attic Pros owner, was very professional, very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

George was very accommodating right from the start. He was able to come out on a very short notice to inspect some mold found in the attic of a house we were considering purchasing. George provided his opinion on the condition of the attic, as well as a very thorough written quote spelling out in detail everything that needed to be done. After we purchased the house, I decided to hire Attic and Ventilation Pros because they were able to clean up the mold , as well as address the underlying cause (ventilation). George's crew showed up on time and worked quickly to clean up the mold and correct the ventilation issues. The attic looked great when they were done. The home also seems very conformable with the added insulation. Overall we are very satisfied with the work performed and would use this company again.

George came out and checked out the attic then gave me options on the level of insulation he could install. They installed baffles and ten soffit vents as promised. They arrived on time and cleaned up the debris of installation before driving away. I don't usually give perfect scores on surveys as I think there is always some thing that could be improved, but i honestly can't think of anything that would have made the experience better. well, maybe if they brought donuts ;) I'd recommend Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro's to anyone, George even brought us the rebate form for the cellulose.

Everyone in this company was professional, informative, friendly, and conscientious. They cleaned up after themselves and completed the job in a very timely manner.

Thank you, Angies List, for helping me find George?s company to do the job! Our house had a mold problem in the attic due to poor ventilation. The mold had been previously treated by a company called EnviroMax which also promised to deal with the ventilation problem through adding baffles and roof vents for bathroom fans but failed to keep the promise. A month later, when I noticed the dripping wetness in the attic, I tried to look for new help via Angies List. George from Attic Insulation & Ventilation Pro?s was the first to come down for an estimate (on a Saturday). George is as knowledgeable and professional as he is personable. The solutions and pricing he proposed sounded reasonable. Given their experiences and expertise in this area (partly based on the reviews from other customers on Angies List), we decided to cancel estimates by two other companies (also highly rated on Angies List) which do work on general roofing, but not in ventilation and insulation per se, and to hire George?s company to do the job. The job was performed by Jason and Justin who are extremely skillful and competent. Most important, they are also extremely nice, just like George. They patiently answered all concerns and questions from me and my wife. After the fiasco with the previous company which only installed half baffles (and only here and there), it was such a relief to see the full baffles beautifully and fully installed in both the front and back of the attic by Jason. While doing the baffles, Jason also cleaned a couple of remaining mold spots which, according to the previous company that did the original cleaning for us, were just enzyme stain that is not removable. Meanwhile, Justin skillfully wired the attic fan activated by temperature and moisture and got it started to reduce the moisture of the attic. George?s company has also been extremely flexible with their schedule. When Jason and Justin found out that they did not bring the trim with perfect color match for the house, they were willing to put off the work on the soffit vents and make another installation trip in the future. They then did a special order for the trim with the correct color so that ?the job can be done right?. Because my wife was concerned about the noise of the attic fan, George agreed to help us install a manual switch in the bedroom closet that would allow us to have greater control over the fan?s operation. This was done a couple of days after the attic fan was installed. As if this were still not enough trouble, George also insisted that they replace the attic fan they had installed a week ago to see whether a different one will be less noisy. Jason and Justin again did a great job with the wall-drilling and wiring. In short, George and his company are going out of their way to make sure that their customers are happy with the work they perform. Last but not the least, I have to mention how considerate and courteous these wonderful people are. George, Justin and Jason all made sure that they put on their shoe covers whenever they had to get into the house and bedroom to access the attic or do other work. I am utterly grateful to them for their work on my attic and am really glad that we finally decided to join the Angies List where we found George?s company.

This company did an excellent job removing the mold from our attic and blowing in additional loose insulation and installing baffles. Everyone was pleasant to work with. They arrived on time and worked diligently and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them.

I have a 1964 Cape Cod with 2 dormers with a 1-story addition off back which had a number of attic issues to be addressed. After having read other reviews for attic insulation projects I knew that I wanted to have Attic Pro's look at my home. I initially contacted Attic Pro's office on a Monday and got a call back within 10 minutes to confirm that owner George would give me a call later to set up an estimate. We scheduled the estimate for Wednesday evening. George arrived promptly and took me around for an inspection of the 3 attic areas in this home. He provided a detailed estimate of all the recommended improvements to be made including a few options. He reviewed the reasons for each recommendation in detail and answered all my questions. I scheduled them to do the job and they were able to set it up for following week. On the day of the job the 3-man crew arrived right on time. They laid out drop cloths and got to work immediately. They did very efficiently with each part of team focusing on different aspects of the job but helping each other out as required. I talked to each of them and all were friendly and knowledgable. They finished job in around 6 hours and cleaned up beautifully so that from inside the house I wouldn't have known all the work that had occurred with all the material that they had to utilize. I liked that they were able to blow the insulation in through the hole in roof make for the added attic fan. There were a few additional items that were uncovered during the work (needed to extend insulation barriers beyond 6-ft due to low slope roof and mold remediation in a few areas) which George had his crew implement at no additional cost to me. I appreciated that his crew identified these needs to him because they wanted job to be done right! So overall I was very satisfied with entire experience working with Attic Pro's and look forward to enjoying the benefit of all the improvements they have made to our home. I would recommend them without question!

The guys that came out were truly professional and very knowledegable.They answered all my questions and took me thru their work upon completion. They enlarge all the existing soffits and addded two more for ventilation and provided addionalt air within the attic. It was abit more money than insulation but I liked waht cellulose provided over fiberglass. I would recommend these guys again very much!

Let's just say on the day they completed the services - I highly recommended them to a friend / neighbor who plans on using them also. I Strongly & Highly Recommend George Zentz and Attiic Pros Insulation & Ventilation !! Prompt, polite, quick, clean - I wish all contractors were like Attic Pros.

George and his crew did an amazing job. George came out for the initial estimate in Birmingham and was very informative and detailed. I went on to schedule them to do the job. They blew in insulation and installed vents all around the house, at a very reasonable price. They were done within 6 hours and on time in the morning. They went well above and beyond and cleared my shingles and gutters of leaves with a blower and also replaced a faulty wire in the attic; which was all done without charge. If you are looking for a honest and hardworking company, these are the folks to hire. Can't say enough about the job they all did.

My experience with this company was top notch from start to finish. George explained very thoroughly what was needed and how the work would be done. My attic lacked ventilation and insulation. They installed 17 ridge vents, installed 74 baffles and brought my insulation up to R-60. The company arrived exactly when they stated, performed all work as was stated and left no mess whatsoever. I will definitely be using this company on my next house. I can't praise them enough. OUTSTANDING

George is a hardworking owner that obviously runs a great small business. He is punctual, responsive, and very knowledgable. His two man crew worked professionally and cleaned up perfectly before leaving the job site.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end with Attic Pros. The receptionist was very kind and helpful when we called. The owner, George Zentz, called us back right away to schedule to come out to estimate. George arrived early and took his time in speaking with us to understand the concerns before performing his own analysis. He then carefully explained his findings as well as all of our options, and answered all of the many questions we had with patience and great clarity. We were very impressed with George's knowledge, expertise, pleasant demeanor and candor. George even offered to fix a shingle for us he noticed was missing (which we hadn't even mentioned.) George provided a very thorough estimation of the attic insulation, addition of soffits, a new attic fan, and mold remediation work. He was extremely honest and did not try 'upsell' us into anything we didn't need and even used what he had in his own home as an example for us, which also impressed us. What George told us matched the research we had done ourselves before we called any one for an estimate. The estimate was extremely reasonable, and George fit us into his schedule quickly. The day before the job, George even worked with a roofer he knew to get us a shingle that matched our existing shingle set which he brought with him to install at no cost to us. The day the work was performed - the team arrived promptly at 8 am driving from all the way across town (Shelby Twp to Canton) during normal rush hour traffic. George and his team member got to work immediately - they worked quickly and efficiently all the way through until the job was complete. When George and his team member were complete with all of the work, they showed us the results, which were impeccable. They cleared all the mess/debris before they left. They even painted the extra soffit vents they added to match our existing soffit. George works with a small trusted team of people he knows and has worked with for years. We found George himself to be a stand-up guy and could not have been happier with the entire experience, beginning to end. We've worked with a lot of contractors over the years for many different home repairs/remodeling work; George and his team were top-notch all the way without question. My husband and I give George and his team our highest recommendation - they are true professionals in every sense of the word and an absolute pleasure to work with - if you need any work done for your attic/insulation/venting or mold remediation - this is the company you will want to call.

.From the minute you meet George there is an obvious depth of experience. From there things just get better. You instinctively trust him because there is no selling going on. The owner, George Zentz, gave me an estimate about three weeks ago for the attic fan, soffet vents and repair for the water heater vent exhaust seal that was cracked. He arrived on agreed upon time on August 20. He completed all of the work by himself. Because another company had previously installed the soffet vents, he did not need to add additional ones. He installed the attic fan and repaired the water heater exhaust vent seal. The work took about one and half hours. Mr. Zentz is a very professional contractor. He explained the operations of the attic fan and how to operate it. He is an extremely personal individual and it was a pleasure to do business with him and his company. Previously, when I called his company line, his assistants were also very friendly and helpful. He followed up on all of his calls before he completed the work on the 20th of August. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Amazingly thorough, kind and professional. They explained the reasons for everything they were doing. Throughout a long, hot day, they remained energetic and focused. I'm not sure if they even took lunch. And they cleaned up with equal vigor. Their knowledge of the issues was complete, and their work ethic was remarkable.

George came to my house and did an inspection. Suggested several items that needed to be done.I chose to have him move forward the items listed above.He and worker showed up right on time, and worked hard until finished. Cleanup was great, left no signs of ever being there.All work performed exactly as described, and right on the money with the quote.There are a few other items that I didn't have George do, but if I change my mind, no question he will be doing it.Their pricing is just about where everyone elses' is.

George and his team did a fantastic job!! We had R-35 insulation added to our attic insulation and had 1 attic fan installed in a new home that we purchased. George was extremely knowledgeable about ventilation, however, he did not try to oversell us on any services. His services and expertise were so valuable that we used him again for mold remediation, insulation and attic fan installation in the home that we were trying to sell. We also referred him to my father, who used the insulation services as well. All three experiences were extremely positive and we have since recommended him to multiple people. Overall, we were extremely pleased!
