 + -1 moreFirst calls were fine as they were trying to find the source of the leak, but we became increasingly frustrated with their inability to find and fix the problem. In desperation, we decided to replace the entire shower, a high-cost solution. However, they did not follow up on repeated calls for them to quote us a replacement for the shower, and we finally had to call another company. Once that company tore out the entire shower, the source of the problem (cold water stem) was found, and we discovered that Preferred had replace the other, non-leaking hot water stem. Overall, a frustrating experience.
Description of Work: Checked for leak in upstairs shower and unsuccessfully attempted to solve the problem.

 + -1 moreAs stated above, I was never informed of a charge for an estimate even though no work was performed.
Description of Work: I called the company to see if they could come out and look at my toilet after it had caused a huge flood. They sent someone over, and he charged me $69.00 for an estimate to tell me I needed all new toilets in my house. He never told me on the phone or when he arrived that there would be a charge, even though he never did any work. He said if I had his company do the work, it would be deducted from the total. I called them the next week and left two messages and never got a return call. I ended up going with another plumber and was never charged for the estimate and didn't have to replace the toilets.

 + -1 moreDave had to take apart then put together a shower head. he was very professional and polite. He was very knowledgeable and actually had the part needed to make the repair with him. He put on booties when entering my home and cleaned up well when he was finished. He was a very nice man and I would recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Dave fixed a leaky shower head for me.

 + -1 moreThis company is great. I have used them before. These plumbers are very professional and clean. I have no complaints at all. They also came right on time and explained everything to us.
Description of Work: We had clogs in our bathtub and our bathroom sink. We had the tub and sink snaked. The work took about an hour.

 + -1 moreDave opened up the ceiling and found that the pipe had been dripping for some time behind the wall, and that it was black water, commonly known as sewage! After he fixed the leaking pipe, he called a company named Modernistic Water Restoration for me, and they came right out and and fixed the contaminated area.
Description of Work: I noticed a stain on the ceiling on my first floor. Dave came out and found a leak in the pipe coming from the bathroom on the second floor.

 + -1 moreI GOT THIS COMPANY'S NAME FROM THE YELLOW PAGES AND THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE IS EXCELLENT BECAUSE IT INCLUDES THE SERVICE CALL. THEY PUT LITTLE BOOTIES ON WHEN THEY CAME IN. THEY DID NOT TRACK UP THE PLACE (AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS).
