Description of Work: I have not received the product as of yet. The windows are custom ordered but really they are a standard window size. They are having a person come out to measure each window. We will see what happens could take up to 10 weeks before the windows and doors get installed.

Description of Work: This provider refused to provide a "free" estimate to me without the presence of my husband. Really? It's my money and it is 2014, and my husband does not want to be involved.

Went like all of them couldnt get the best price unless you signed contract then.I wanted time to sit and read all the fine print and to check up on manufacture.The only thing I did get to do was check your angies list. There was nothing. I thought that it was funny because I had to sign a paper say I would coment on your page which gave me a small discount.

Description of Work: Our third set of windows has been installed by All Weather Seal of Lowell, MI. and we are very happy with the installation. They removed two smaller, 24' wide windows, and installed two 67" windows. The installer was very knowledgeable of what had to be accomplished to complete the job. We would recommend this company to anyone interested in high quality products and high quality installation.

Description of Work: All Weather Seal installed my living room windows. They were both large sliders.

Description of Work: All Weather Seal replaced our two french doors with sliding doors and our front dood with a new leaded glass doors. All of the work was done is a very professional manner with the installers letting us know what they were going to do and reviewing their work with us after the installation was complete.

Description of Work: We contracted with All-Weather Seal to reside our home and windows and put on gutters. They were very accommodating in meeting with us around our busy schedule. There was no pressure to sign a contract because their price was only good for 15 minutes. My husband and I were able to talk about it and then call them and sign the deal. Any questions we had, they were happy to answer, and everyone was very nice and very professional. We were able to look at some of the work that they had done before we decided to go with All-Weather Seal. Even after we signed out contract, we made some changes to what we wanted done, they were more than accommodating in making sure that we got exactly what we wanted. Their contractors were very nice and were awesome in not leaving anything in our yard after they were done. And this was every day, not just when the job was finished. The weather was very hot and humid when they did our house, so the guys asked if they could come early in the morning and work some, they took a break in the afternoon for a few hours, and then would come back later in the afternoon to work several more hours, and this was fine with us. We have never had a contractor that we have ever been this happy with. Last winter my son accidently kicked and cracked the molding around the back door in the winter, and they came and fixed it, no problem. We even had our sanitation driver come to the door after our house was done and say what a great job they did and how nice the house looked. This is one AWESOME company. You will not be disappointed with them.

Description of Work: We had an unusually warm February here in northern Michigan. I had my house re-sided and my gutters and drain spouts replaced right after Valentines Day. The supplies were dropped off and placed in my garage earlier than promised. The siding crew came as promised . . right on time. After discussing the work, they began siding my house quickly and professionally. The siding work was completed within the time promised. After the siding job was completed, the gutters and drain spouts were installed the next day. That crew also worked quickly and professionally. I am very pleased with how the projects turned out. My home looks so much better than before. This summer I noticed that the cooling costs were lower than expected as I had chosen the insulated siding option. The insulation also blocks most of the noise from the street in front of my home and the occasional jet flying over the house from the airport which is not far from my house. There were a few minor problems with the trim. After talking with a representative, these problems were quickly taken care of. The gentleman who fixed the problems came out twice to make final adjustments. He, too, was friendly and professional.

Description of Work: We have lived in our home for 29 years. We had replaced the family room windows 25 years ago and it's time again. This time we decided to close off the slider door which we never used and make a window. This company has a very strong sales tactic and we knew we were being pressured but came with very good credentials. Displaying all customer comments, BBB, Etc. The window product looked excellent and made in the USA. Never mentioned that it has a film on the inside of window which can be scratched until after installed. I warned the salesman that my husband a Master Electrician by trade is a perfectionist and to send this best team. Of course, we were scheduled for installment on one of the worst snow day. They did call and say they would come after the was projected to "let up" Did show up at 10 am that morning. They were able to get the windows in but could not complete building the the wall where the slider was. Left it roughed in but closed to the elements. Couldn't come back on Saturday because "I have to move my girlfriend." Ugly utility trailer was left in our driveway over weekend which caused a parking problem for my family. We had to work on Monday and we were so disappointed when we came home. Caulking around windows were ugly and incomplete. New window where slider was did not get installed the way the salesman described which caused a headache for my husband who loves to do carpentry ( he used to work with his licensed carpenter uncle). He could not match the type of wood trim we had around out existing windows to the new window site that they created. So that one has a window sill while the other 2 windows do not. They wanted payment. I chose to give them half of amount in good faith that repairs would be completed. Now that the sun is out in March we have found a crack in the outer window pane and a hole in a screen. We will see what happens. There were holes in our siding which at first they claimed they didn't do, but then later said, "I might have hit it with a ladder." The same team was sent back to make the repairs. After the repairs were completed, we called and complained again. The replaced siding edges were not cut evenly and the external caulking was applied so unevenly it looked horrendous. Wanted payment right then.Complained again and Scott McDowell (owner) said he would be out to look at it. Instead sent another employee with a camera and to do repairs. Repairs were completed and wanted payment. My husband did not have the checkbook. Amazing how much we were hounded for remaining $1200. Check was mailed but found that the next day when my husband arrived home from work he was sitting there waiting for the check but I had mailed it that morning. From their business to our house is 30 miles. Must have money to burn in gas and mileage these days.
