I called the co. at 10:15am on Sat. and spoke to a PERSON! They got in contact with the repairman who was available to come in 30 minutes and he did. He quickly discovered the problem and repaired it within 30 minutes. There was an electrical part that had worn out on my old washing machine. He was friendly and professional. Price was reasonable. I'm writing this on the day if service so I'm not sure about long term quality but I was impressed.

Fantastic! When I called, it was very business like. I was told the technician would call me within 15 minutes and he did. The technician said he would be here in a half hour and he was. It's fixed for less than I expected. He was able to determine the problem very quickly, had the part with him and replaced it for the exact cost he gave me.

Gave a simple description of the problem, looked to see the dryer model, snapped his fingers, went to the truck for the part, installed it, bingo.

I called on a Sat. morning, and the dispatcher told me that someone would be out today. Frankly, I was surprised that they would send someone out the same day, especially on a Sat. Within 45 mins., Gary called and was in my neighborhood and asked for directions. Within an hour of my placing the call, he was at my door. He was professional, courteous, and clean. He took no more than 10 minutes to diagnose the job and told me that while he would be glad to do the repair, the cost of $280 would go a long way toward the purchase of a new dishwasher, and he couldn't warranty the parts that he didn't fix. He charged $35 for the house call, and we decided to get another dishwasher.

My experience was absolutely HORRIFIC with this company, Central Appliance. The technician, ''NEIL'' was sarcastic, miserable, condescending, abrupt, rude and downright nasty. He obviously does not like his job and takes it out on the customers. He misdiagnosed the problem with my appliance. He tried to charge me close to $200 for a $21 part! He didn't check the appliance carefully as it turns out his diagnoses (if you can call it that) was WAY off, causing me literally thousands of dollars as all the food items had to be thrown out all because of Neil and his incompetence. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT HIRING THIS COMPANY. When I demanded a full refund for my money, the owner was almost equally abrupt, rude and condescending as his employee, Neil. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT ALL.
