They are wonderful. We did get other quotes before we initially went with them and they are very competitive. They came out on a Sunday.

The company was horrible. They came out and fixed my furnace, but then it broke again a few hours after they left. I called them and they were going to charge me again to come back out. I had to find someone else to fix my furnace.

They showed up the very day I consulted with Total Comfort Resources and did a gas heating furnace cleaning and inspection, giving us peace of mind that our furnace was safe. Greg the technician was most personable and polite. He cheerfully answered all of my questions about my older furnace. It`s good to have preventive maintenance before snow flies and they have time now rather than at peek season when problems could be inconvenient. It was truly a pleasure to do business with Total Comfort Resources.

The A/C service was pre-ordered and paid through Angieslist. The tech came to the house on time, and found there were additional problem with the A/C, some fuse went bad. So, with our agreement, he fix the whole thing. Job done and the A/C works now. The funny thing is that now the A/C works, the weather is cold again... >_<

Total Comfort deserves a FIVE star not a four! My furnace stopped running and consequently no heat. I'm a member of Angie's list however have never used a service provider through Angie's. I looked through the service provider list and found Total Comfort to be highly rated in all areas. I called their office on a Sunday and was told an emergency tech would call me within 15 minutes--Rodney called me within 10 minutes and was at my home within one hour. And wow diagnosed the issue and made repairs all within one hour as well. Courteous, knowledgeable and well versed tech.

Total Comfort Resource arrived on time. Rodney was professional, courteous and even made sure his shoes were clean before walking into our basement. He checked over everything and found a simple solution to our problem - lack of maintenance on our part. He taught us how to do the maintenance on our humidifier and provided a replacement filter which was needed. Timely. Professional. Courteous. Respectful and a good value! Highly recommended.

The technician showed up in a reasonable time. Price was fair and they waived the diagnostics fee because I was a Angie's List member. Wife was happy!

Rod came and replaced the ignitor in our furnace very quickly and effectively. The turnaround from the initial contact to job completion was within a few days. Even though our furnace is obviously old (roughly 18 years), Rod did not try to push us into buying a new furnace. We have used TCR before and will use them again.

Gregg quickly found the problems and fixed them. He did not push for a new furnace or AC unit even though they were obviously aging. We contacted another company before we contacted TCR and the other company tried to push for a new furnace and AC unit without even looking at what the real problem was. TCR saved us thousands of dollars by fixing a small issue versus replacing the entire unit.

Punctual and professional. They even taught us how our humidifier on our furnace worked and got us a new filter for it at a very affordable price.

Reasonable and took extra efforts in making sure that all my questions are answered. He could have just inspected and left but he made sure that overall airflow is good and some other troubles we are having proposed good solutions to them. He also suggested how we can save money by easy DIY stuff and showed how to fix broken humidifier. Its very rare that people go extra mile to make customer happy. Excellent job overall

Remembering last summers heat I decided to have A/C unit checked in preparation for this summer. When I scheduled a date and time I was given a 2 hour window period between 8-10AM. Gregg arrived at 8:30 and immediately went to work. A/C unit was checked thoroughly and service was delivered in a professional and courteous manner. Gregg explained exactly what was checked and I was happy to learn my A/C unit did not require further work and is ready for this summer. I did purchase the extended service agreement which includes inspection and tuneup for heating unit this fall and A/C unit next spring. I can recommend "Total Comfort Resource, LLC" without hesitation.

It was easy to setup an appointment via TCR's website and email. The technician was prompt, courteous, honest, and helpful. The A/C tune-up service we purchased was probably not entirely necessary in our case, but it was good to have a few concerns reviewed and alleviated. I would not hesitate to do business with TCR again.

Installation was thorough and professional. They did everything the salesman had promised. They were very tidy, left our home as clean as they found it, and hauled away the old unit. They forgot to install a cover plate behind the new thermostat. When I called about it, they offered to come out and install one free of charge. I volunteered to install it, so they delivered it to my house.

Great, unit is in good shape, tech gave great tips on the unit outdoors. We'll use them for fall furnace check up.

It took more than one service call to diagnose the problem (it is an old system) but they did resolve the problem on the last service call for no additional charge and had two men here a couple of hours---so we were ultimately satisfied with their service. Very professional and nice. I would use them again.

sales process was very easy, and the people very nice to work with. The price exceeded our budget so we went elsewhere for the service.

He simply ended up doing an inspection/tune up because the problem was something small. He uncovered the pipe that had ice on it and told us how he think it might have happened. I also asked him some questions about a humidifier and our AC and he was very helpful in responding.

Cold day and furnace wouldn't turn on. Called them 8 am and they said they would be out around noon, actually arrived 30 minutes early, which was good 'cause the house was getting cold. Very professional, checked a few things out, gave some honest answers to some questions I had about my unit, determined it was a clogged drain line, blew it out, told me what I could do to help prevent it in the future, and that was that. I was very happy with the service, and the price?! Unbelievable. I will definitely be recommending them to anybody that wants to listen.

We recently purchased a lake cottage and the furnace needed replaced before winter. Because we aren't from the area I contacted several different companies for estimates. Total Comfort Resource, LLC was very thorough and took measurement of the space and windows in order to recommend a furnace that meant our needs and gave us maximum efficiency. We got the estimate quickly and they were very prompt in answering e-mails with questions we had. We also wanted to have the air ducts cleaned at the same time the furnace was installed and they worked with the cleaning company to coordinate this. They even made an extra trip to the cottage prior to the installation to make a recommendation on the best way to access the ducts. This company is great to work with. They show up when they say they will and do the job efficiently. They have fair prices and they are very good at what they do. When the code inspector came to inspect the installation he commented that they did a very good job for us. This is an excellent company and great to work with.

My air conditioning unit was not working in early June when the temperatures were in the 90's. I called Total Comfort on a Monday morning to see if they could come out and look at my unit. The lady that answered the phone was not the regular person and told me that the usual lady that answers the phone had stepped out for a moment and she would have her call me back. The regular lady did not call me back until about 4 hours later! The lady was very nice on the phone and said that they were really busy, took my information and told me she would call me back when a technician would be available to check my air conditioning unit. I never heard from the lady on Monday nor by Tuesday late afternoon at which point I decided to call another company. The other company told me they could come out on Thursday. This company came out on Thursday, ordered a part for my air conditioning unit and installed and fixed it by Wednesday of the following week. At this point, I still had not heard from Total Comfort. The lady from Total Comfort finally called me back a week later!!! I think that even though the lady was nice on the phone it was ridiculous to have waited so long, especially when dealing with 95 plus heat. This is very unprofessional in my opinion and Total Comfort lost the service of $500.00 to a competitive business. I obviously did not get worked done by Total Comfort so do not know if I would have been pleased, but the low rating is for being unprofessional and waiting too long to get back to me.

A/C went out on a 95 degree day. We called in the morning, they said they were booked all day, but could come the next day. They also said that if they were able to find time that day they would. Later that afternoon, they found time! The service man was extremely professional and went above and beyond in sharing with us more things we could do to help maintain the furnace/AC going forward. We also had a great night of sleep in A/C. Would definitely recommend them.

A/C conked out in the afternoon. Called their office, then the tech(owner) called me. He was on another job but came over right after he was done. He already suspected what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Very hot day and he had been at it since 6am till night. Very courteous, friendly.

Since I had no heat in my house, I called Total Comfort Resource based on prior Angie's List reviews. Andrew from Total Comfort Resource came out on that Saturday to repair it. He quickly found the problems: a blown fuse and two wires on the AC unit had shorted out. I was very impressed with his responsiveness, technical expertise and the fact that he honored a coupon. He did not charge me extra for the weekend work, which is rare these days I will definitely use this company again.

I had a wonderful experience with Total Comfort Resources. I have absolutely no complaints about them.
