No pressure for sure. price was good, but decided I want wood windows. they sent me a nice letter few days after. which is way better than the rest of the window companies that keep calling and hounding me and had high pressure sales techniques. product seems good, and enjoyed working with everyone there

Polar Seal was great all the way through the process. The salesman explained everything up front and what to expect. They delivered and installed within the stated time frame and the door looks amazing. Came with a transferable lifetime warranty too.

The salesman was friendly and professional, and I appreciated that he wasn't pushy. The installation crew worked quickly, cleaned up after itself, and did good work. The price was reasonable, too.

Everything turned out well. We ended up choosing them because they are a local company and were very thorough and professional during the estimate process. The new door and windows are doing a great job of keeping out the heat and the cold, and the room is much more comfortable. Ultimately, they did good work for a fair price.

The sales representative was great and didn't use high-pressure tactics which I appreciated. However, his recommendation for the type of window actually created more of a problem because more outside noise is coming through the window than previously. Furthermore, they took incorrect measurements for the middle piece of the window, and they simply filled the resulting gaps with foam in addition to shimming the window's sides. Ultimately, the window looks fine and does a decent job of keeping out the heat and the cold. The only problem is the noise.

We were very happy with the service and would highly recommend the company. It's a local firm, and their windows are spefically tailored to the climate in Michigan which we liked. Additionally, the people who took the measurements were also the people who did the installation.

It was a great experience. The salesman was straightforward in his approach, and the installation crew did a great job with the windows. They were also highly responsive, and there was very quick turnaround from calling to having the windows installed.

The windows installed were better than I expected. They look and work great. The guys that came here to install them did a wonderful job. I would definitely use them again. They also come with a lifetime guarantee for any problems or issues. Its nice to know that they stand behind their product. All other windows we looked at did not come with a lifetime guarantee.

As I said, it's been a few years so the story from start to finish is long gone from my memory. That is probably a good sign, as it tends to be the bad experiences that stay with me in great detail :)

The lead installer was very professional and polite, He was training a new employee, so the job went a few days longer than anticipated. That was no problem for us( the weather was nice), we just wanted a good installation. We feelthat we got what we wanted.

Sales rep was professional and low key. While not the lowest bid we received, we went with Polar Seal because we liked the quality and like that they are a West Michigan company. It took a few weeks for them to make the windows but they were on time to their estimate. There were no problems when they installed. I have lots of flower beds which make it really hard to get to the windows. They were careful around them and there was only mimimal damage-- a lot less than I thought would happen. The windows look great and work great..

Job was quoted for entire condo, but pricing seemed rather high. The old double pane wood windows were a little drafty in the middle of winter, but was looking for some noise control from outside. He said that the noise should be reduced greatly with the vinyl and the super spacer design and argon and low e. I wanted to make sure before spending the money for the whole unit, so just had them do the kitchen first to see if any noise reduction. I can tell you after 7 weeks, I actually can hear more noise than before, which was a surprise to me. I will not be able to tell what effect the windows will have on cold drafts until winter when you sit by it. The picture window portion was smaller than the opening once they removed the old window, they did not realize the the old window went back under a moulding further, so they shimmed it, and filled it will foam and let it set till Monday, and came back and added some more trim. I really do not think this is the cause of the extra noise, but not sure. I am so glad I did not do the entire condo for almost 12,000 dollars and have more noise. I am not sure it all vinyl windows have this issue. I went local thinking that I would get a better window, not true.I should have gone with a wood window and a name brand if I had to do it over. I had to purchase all new blinds since the way these fit in the opening and all the trim they use. Wish I had known that before.Would not recommend these windows for condo use at all, or a house with close neighbors.

The sales staff were knowledgeable, professional and courteous, accommodating my difficult schedule. The presentation was thorough and the staff have been attentive to my questions. I was escorted to see installed windows in the Lowell area, which helped me envision the completed project and workmanship. A problem in the style of the exterior wrap was attended to promptly; quality control was good, with the post-inspection leading to a change in screens. The work was completed in one day, and all areas were carefully cleaned up. I would (and did) recommend this product and company. No reservations.

They were very through in explaining the things to me. They were very polite. They were open to questions that I may have had. I would definitely do business with them if we need to have work done. The worker was honest and upfront with me. He told me that I did not need new windows just new glass.

We looked everywhere and finally chose Polar Seal to replace patio sliding door because the product is so weather tight. We also like that it is a Michigan product and that the installs are done by the company itself. I was really happy with how smoothly everything went; it was a very painless process and we are pleased with our choice.

They were local and I had previously researched their product. They were offering a discount. It’s hard to grade the price because they are high on price, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We were told that it would take 4-6 weeks for the order to be processed. It was exactly as we were told. We were notified the week they were to be installed. It took them two days to complete the work. The windows are beautiful and I was surprised how quiet they are. I also noticed the temperature in the house is much consistent and the air conditioning does not run as much. I'm so happy we decided to go with Polar Seal.

The overall work went on really well. The most amazing thing was that they were able to work with me the day that I called them. That was the only day that I was available. They gave a time as to when they could come and they were here at the same time. So I didn’t have to wait for them another day. They obviously knew what I was looking for and they had the entire tool ready and fixed it when they came. The only negative aspect was that it took long time for them to get back to me when I made the initial call.

Their service was excellent. We are very pleased with the windows. The installers were excellent. We have absolutely no complaints. We have already recommended them to several people.

Everything was a pleasure. No pressure, good price, competent salesperson and installers. There was one misunderstanding between sales and manufacturing, but in the end, everything turned out fine.

They are great at standing behind their products and taking care of their customers after the sale.

The estimate process was fine. The guy who came out was nice, knowledgeable and not pushy. I did have bad experiences with others before, but he did really well for me. I was happy with him. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

We couldn't be happier with the end product.

Very well from start to finish. The salesman to the installer. You could not tell I had any work done as there was not one piece of debris left anywhere.
