They have done all the other in the house before so we were perfectly satisfied with them otherwise we will not have them back. They are all “A’s” on the rating.

The two installers arrived on time and were very professional. They were very respectful of our home and were neat and clean. The final product looks amazing. They removed and disposed of the old doors and any and all refuse related to the project. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the product, the installation, or the overall experience.

Very good job, professional level all the way from project estimation through installation and clean-up. Workmanship and product are high quality. High recommend them.

After going through an extensive review process, we decided to do business with Polar Seal. They were great to work with from the start, weren't pushy, clearly have a great product, and set a great first market based price (they didn't try to significantly overcharge, only to come down significantly later once they were challenged with a competitor's price...which is what happened in reverse with my 2nd choice vendor). The installation of the doors went smoothly, and the 3 man crew was completely done in roughly 6 hours. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the doors themselves...it was immediately apparent that they will do a much better job of sealing our home than our last doors did. The only shortcoming was that after cleaning the doors for the first time, we noticed that there was what appeared to be residue left over on the inside of the double paned glass - thus there were still certain spots on the windows that looked dirty even immediately after cleaning (often right at eye level, so very noticeable). We noticed this on two out of the four glass doors that were installed. I'm not sure if this was related to a poor batch in the factory or what. Polar Seal takes pride in their lifetime warranty, so I called them to explain the issue. They dispatched two of their repair men to our home roughly two weeks later with two new (clean) windows, which they were able to quickly replace. These men even went above and beyond by pointing out a couple things in the doors that they offered to help with (switching the direction of one of the locking mechanisms so that both doors locked the same way (easier to remember), and tweaking one of the doors to allow it to glide easier). The doors now look great, and all-in-all, it's been a great experience. We will definitely consider going with them again in the future for any window replacements we decide to make.

Polar Seal was great. The sales process was not pushy at all, they were very responsive and I'm very happy with the quality overall. These windows are really very high quality and they stand behind them. We will be looking to Polar Seal when we need more windows replaced.

The three members of the installation team were the VERY BEST we have witnessed since our first replacement window/door project ,which was done by PELLA in 1990 in the State of Ohio. Since then, we have had PELLA and other companies perform replacement windows and door systems at other properties we have owned. In all sincerity, in our lifetime experience, POLAR SEAL of GRAND RAPIDS, MI has the very best products and more importantly a SUPERIOR INSTALLATION TEAM!! As a result of our experience, we will PROUDLY DISPLAY the POLAR SEAL sign in our front yard. In closing, based on our experience, we will be replacing other windows with them within the next 6-12 months. POLAR SEAL of GRAND RAPIDS, MI should be the first and only company you turn to for replacement windows and patio doors in GRAND RAPIDS and LANSING, MI!!

They did a great job. They were very quick and on time. They kept their word and had great pricing. They cleaned up afterwards.

The sales rep was very nice and very efficient and not a hard sell at all. He understood we only wanted a bid from him and he was in and out and I received his bid the next day. We did 3 other bids besides Polar and the other 3 sales reps (Hanson, Renewal by Anderson and Pella) they all wanted to stay and give their "Why our window is better" speech and get a commitment to use them before they left - even after telling them we only wanted a bid. Polar rep came in asked what we wanted took measurements said a brief sales pitch on their windows and if we had any questions and then told me I would get our quote the next day. Very nice and very professional and didn't knock his competition. Polar's price was in the middle and they are a local company and I couldn't find one really negative comment on them in regards to their windows or the whole process from quote to installation to their windows. Only negative was their show room. I wish they they would improve their showroom, which is very basic and not very attractive when we went to see the windows in person. But since I was already leaning on getting Polar after the quotes I was just looking at the windows and they look great. I'll follow up on how Polar's installation went with a follow up after that on the windows after six months of installation. Just a warning out there if you are looking to replace your windows - DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!! Do not let them hard sell you and wanting money down. I had all 4 reps come in on the same day - 45 minutes for each is plenty. A couple Reps were there at same time because they wouldn't leave. Doing it this way really worked great for me. Two sales reps didn't like it, but that is their problem. I told them up front what I wanted.

The company was easy to work with. The estimate went smoothly and I received a written estimate within a few days after the visit. I was able to define some specific choices after the fact. They sent a confirmation letter and then called when the windows were ready to schedule the installation. On the day of installation, they arrived slightly late, but called to let me know. All the windows were replaced that day. The workers were polite, showed me how to operate the windows, and cleaned up very well after themselves. One of the windows had the wrong design, so they called the office, installed the window, and a replacement was ordered at no additional charge. I was given the option to complete payment once the replacement pane was installed. Which I did. The replacement was simple, with the worker arriving on time and switching out the top part of the window.

Outstanding. Would highly recommend them.

I have posted this answer once before. I can't say enough good about poler seal windows or their staff. Their installer was top notch and extremely professional. The windows are excellent.

The price was right because I had compared pricing with other big box stores. The fact that they made the windows here was very important to me because we have had one heck of a winter. The installation was great. He was prompt, clean and picked up after himself. The only way you knew work was done was because there a brand new window in place that still looks beautiful.

The stress of window shopping is very overwhelming. After two other demonstrations and pushy salespeople, Jim Simon arrived from Polar Seal. He was very relaxed and non-chalant. He asked me questions about what I wanted and only addressed those concerns. He provided a written quote of the total within the 1 hour that he was there (unlike others who after 2 hours never even gave a qoute!). They offered great discounts for the number of windows that we purchased, 13 in total and we simply didn't have the funds yet. After waiting a couple months and saving money, we got a letter in the mail from Polar Seal with an additional 10% off the price of the previous quote. We jumped on it and called again to speak with Jim. Jim came out once more and we looked at the original quote and included the discounted and then scheduled the work to be completed. The crew came out on May 2nd to complete the job as promised. They arrived on time and were very professional. They replaced all the windows and door in one day as agreed. They wore booties in the house to keep it clean and were very friendly. They cleaned up after themselves once the job was complete. The slider door was having some challenges closing so I asked them to look at it (same day). They agreed that the door had bowed so it wasn't closing properly unless you pulled it in. Within one week we had a new sliding door. Also - during the install they went above and beyond and placed new trim around the bathroom window as the previous owner had glued a valance to the trim. I got a signed letter from the owner of the company thanking me for choosing Polar Seal and to call with any servicing issues. That was another reason we choose Polar Seal was because of their service. They will gaurantee their windows and screens for life. Should something break, rip, leak, tear, etc... they will fix it/replace it with no questions asked. I love Polar Seal Windows!

Polar Seal windows are easy to slide up and down, they are sturdy and stay in position for washing (had Champion and you had to hold them in place or they would come off track), and now that it is winter I can say there is now moisture in corners of the windows or the feeling of cool breeze around the window. Very pleased!!

Installed replacement windows, they arrives on time and did an excellent job.

My house previously had just single pane windows and my patio door had recently cracked, so the replacement windows came at a good time. All the measurements must have been done well because all the windows fit great. It's been a few years now since their installation and I haven't had any problems.

Polar Seal installed 10 windows plus one picture window. The sales rep was very professional and knowledgeable about the products and the company. Everything he represented about the windows, the work crew, the workmanship held true. The windows were installed on time by a long-term employee and his newer assistant, whom he closely mentored. Great care was taken to insure proper installation. Both were very professional and personable. Prospective buyers should understand a key difference between Polar Seal and many other replacement window companies. The installaters at Polar Seal are direct employees of the company. Most other window companies -- who may sport cheaper prices -- use independent contractors for installation who may not be as concerned about customer satisfaction and proper installation. They earn their living by the number of jobs they do, which is not always consistent with a quality work product. Conversely, the Polar Seal installation crews are not motivated by doing the job as quickly as they can, but in making certain the windows are installed properly and that the customer is satisfied. You may pay a little more, but I believe is is absolutely worth it. One year out, I am very pleased with my new windows and will go with Polar Seal again when the need arises.

Had to replace 4 windows in the front of the house. An excellent experience through out. From the office staff to the sales person, and the installers. The installers were right on time, very polite and cordial and did an excellent job. Will definitely will use them again Had the installers measure to replace remaining windows and doors.

They were so easy to work with. The only thing that dropped them to a B is the difficulty getting them back to finish up the little details. They did make extra trips to give us time to stain and paint the bay window structure. Very nice guys!

we saw them at the home show and made an appointment with them. we also made appointments with some other window sales people. polar Seal impressed us the most. they were courteous, did great work and left no mess. The windows are beautiful.

From proposal to installation, promises made were promises kept. They reviewed to job to be done, drew up a plan, got back to us with an estimate. We went to showroom and looked at samples. They cut out entire picture window and replaced bow window in one day. Cleaned up after themselves. High quality job and product. Wonderful professional job.

The installation was done in one day. There was one slight bump in the road...the slider was the wrong color, so they immediately ordered another and we were put at the top of the list to manufacture and they returned a few days later to install. They called before they arrived and they were very personable. I would so use them again and I also tell people to check them out and how wonderful our windows are. I also appreciated the fact they are made in Grand Rapids and I could keep my money local. .
