My lot backs up to a large woods and a few years back two trees were hit by lightening and subsequently died. Over the spring and summer they've been dropping very large branches in my yard. Unfortunately some of the branches that have fallen off of the dead trees are big enough to kill my dog so I had to do something. I can't have the tree cut down because it belongs to the city but discovered that I could have all the branches cut back a foot or to behind my fence so I called a couple of tree services, found a coupon on Angie's for one of them and had them trim not only those trees but the 60 footers that grow along the fence and drop tons of leaves in my yard in the fall. Clean Cut Tree service did a fantastic job. In a few hours all of the trees were cut back and ALL debris removed. I would also like to note that there was a discrepancy in the work I needed done and the work order that was eventually sent to the crew, the fault on both sides as we both appeared to misunderstand the nature of the job, and Clean Cut in the most professional manner absorbed the cost of the extra work. The guy who climbed the trees to work the highest limbs actually had to put his gear back on and climb up there again, but when it came down to it they honored the original quote. You don't find that kind of customer service many places any more and I will recommend them to all of the neighbors and anyone I know who needs some tree service. Fantastic work and fantastic company.

They came out when they said, cleaned everything up and the tree looks great.

They had an equipment malfunction so they were delayed a bit to the job, but they still came the day they said, and did what they said they were going to do.

I called to schedule tree trimming and removals. They initially were going to come out, but then called to tell me there would be an up-charge as I'm in Oakland County. I appreciated their honesty - they seem like a decent company. The only reason I wouldn't use them is the extra charge. The only thing that would have been better is if they had called a little earlier so I could find a replacement.

I left a message for estimate on trimming five trees. Clean Cut returned my call promptly however; they informed me that they do not service our area.

The crew arrived as promised and quickly went to work, They had a quick grasp of what I was trying to do to restore river view. The work progressed rapidly even though working on areas difficult to access. The site was left neat and clean at the end. The entire crew was patient with my involvement and requests :-) I would recommend this business without reservation!

This company was reliable about when they indicated they would do the estimate. The estimate was reasonable- presented clearly with attached evidence of insurance. They completed the job within a time frame I requested. Did not require me to be home and accepted payment by telephone with credit card numbers. The job itself was flawless. The tree was cut back beautifully and the climbing rose was removed. Not only that but they went way beyond the call of duty, They were only asked to get the rose off the roof but they actually took it down all the way to where I severed it from the ground. That means they removed thick, twinning canes woven through the pergola- a project I knew I would have to tackle but dreaded. They left absolutely no scraps. In fact- I think they probably took 2 empty yard waste cans (that I had filled with other things and put out for collection) from the curb where they had been emptied by the collection people and returned them to in front of my garage. They really went the extra mile!

They were efficient and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. I was very happy with them. Their price was average. I did not have enough people come out for different quotes but I was happy with their quote since they did a lot of work.

Showed up a few minutes early got right to work and did an amazing professional job. Would definetly recommend them. Beat competitors price by substantial amount.

Excellent service, with fast response time. CCTS performed the work with masterful execution. They use modern equipment, and did a thorough clean-up after the job was done. They were even so kind as to cut one more low-hanging limb that I hadn't originally specified in the job outline, at my request at the end of the day. I'll also add, that during the initial job overview discussion, it was not necessary to be overly tedious in explaining what branches and limbs I wanted to be pruned - they already know what a satisfactory pruning job should look like. They are indeed experts, and one should feel very confident in doing business with this company.

Arrived when they said they would. Went right to work and removed all debris. Would definitely use them again.

Everything was easy and great. I told them I was in a hurry because I'm trying to landscape in time for my house warming party. The operator made it happen on time even with the machine breaking down twice at my home. I would certainly use them again and probably will.

My experience with this provider was great from the first contact. I was called promptly after sending an information request via Angie's List by a very personable and polite staff member. A few days later, their estimator came out and I received a detailed and very competitive estimate. I had originally wanted my three trees trimmed. But the price was so attractive that I "upgraded" to also have my dozen or so shrubs trimmed at the same time. The workmen arrived earlier than scheduled and did a simply wonderful job. The foreman was polite an explained what the team would be doing. They then completed the job quickly and accurately. All the clippings and branches were cleaned up. They even blew the sidewalk clean with a power blower. I could not recommended Clean Cut Tree Experts more highly and will definitely use them again.

GREAT! Only problem that the stomp grinder broke during the job site before ours, so it took the guys an extra 4 or 5 days before they could completely finish the job (but ultimately, the grinding didn't take ver long). We were told, since they were covering the bulk of 1/2 an acre, that it could take up to 9 hours to finish everything. That sounded reasonable. It took 4 and 1/2 hours. NOT FOURTEEN, BUT FOUR!!! WOW!!! Those guys worked HARD!! We are EXTREMELY happy! LOL... Funny enough, the day after they finished the stump grinding, we had another storm that knocked down another BIG branch WAY in the back yard, which is what we were trying to avoid. Oh well. Guess you'll be hearing from us again sometime :-).

They were on time. They showed up, gave me the quote, signed up right then and there. They were out like within a week or week and a half to do the work. They came out with a whole crew. They showed up on time. They did a great job in cleanup. They cut some good sized tree limbs out, cut them out, chopped them out, hauled it all away. When they were done, you couldn't know that they had been here. I thought their price was fair for what they did. I would absolutely use them again and I would recommend them. In fact, I recommended them to my daughter.

Jeremy came in with his basket lift, shredder and crew and, after a little consultation on what I was looking for, immediately set to work and didn't stop. This man is an expert! Considering what he had to deal with, he made the place look great! I wish him all the success in the world.

Clean Cut was very responsive - they quoted the job quickly and provided a very competitive bid. The crew showed up right on time and the removal of the trees was very well done. All debris was removed. The stumps were thoroughly ground well below the surface. One area for improvement was clean up from the stump grinding. Once finished grinding the crew simply left. There was no attempt to tidy up the site and remove the excess wood chips. I spent a couple hours doing final clean up. That was a disappointment because the tree removal was stellar. Overall I was very happy with Clean Cut - I would use them again.

They were very professional. Returned phone calls, gave a detailed written estimate, showed up on time, and did the work and cleaned up very efficiently.

I called three companies for a quote. Clean Cut Tree Experts called me back within the hour. One service did not return my call, the other said I would have an estimate in 3 days - which never came. I checked with neighbors and asked what they had paid and who they used - so I had an idea of the cost. The estimate was received in two days and I scheduled the service within a few days after receiving the estimate. The schedule was about a month out which was fine since the tree was dead an not an immediate danger issue. The crew called before coming out and was available earlier than expected - so I told them I could accomodate that schedule. They had the tree down in under an hour and had all the branches,the base of the tree, and all the debrie completely grinded in under a total of three hours. The grinding of the stump took a short time after that. I was very pleased on their speed and attention to my other trees and plants in the surrounding area. They used equipment to move the heavy branches but it was much lighter than I expected - so the grass was matted down but will recover with no issues.

Both the person who answered the phone and the estimator were very polite and helpful. No issue with the customer service with the exception of the pricing. I am sure they would have done an excellent job however the price was extremly high in comparision to other estimates we received - and this was after the special 30% off angie's list pricing and extra 10% on top of that.

It went perfectly well. I appreciate a company that arrives when promised, and leaves all information for me to make the best decision.

The man climbed the tree and cut down 7 large (at least 15" diameter) and they fell beneath. Someone else was cutting them down to smaller pieces and taking them off of our property. It only took about an hour!

Rained, rained, rained all week. Work was scheduled for Thursday but thunderstorms prevented that. Company called to reschedule for Friday (the next day). They arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. had to take down part of the back fence. Job was completed, yard cleaned up, and fence put back up right before it started raining again at noon. I would HIGHLY recommend Clean Cut Tree Experts to all.

It went smooth except nothing was cleaned up.
