This company, from the amazing woman who takes your call to the crew of guys that come out are absolutely amazing an do Top Notch work! The work was very detailed and the clean up spotless! Very impressed and highly recommend!

Trimmed trees on two lots and removed two small dead trees.

They did it in an hour. They did a great job. It was fun to watch them. Nothing hit the garage and they did a great job.

They cut down the tree to my satisfaction and told me that the stumping would be done the following day because they had a high volume of trees to stump that day (which I didn't have a problem with). Nobody showed up the following day nor the next so I called the company and was treated very professionally. Apparently the holdup was also that they had been waiting for a part for the machine and would be at my house the following day (and they were). The cutting and stumping were well done but I can't give a rave review for the way they left my lawn and driveway. The cutters put nothing on the grass to prevents ruts from the machinery, which had been done when I hired this company previously. The driveway was left very muddy and with black tire marks on it from the machinery. When the worker came to stump the tree, I asked that he put down the plywood usually used to help prevent lawn damage, which he did. I had used this company previously and was extremely satisfied and has no issues wiith the lawn or mess left after the work was done. Neighbors have asked for recommendations and I know one of my neighbors hired them and was very satisfied. I called the company and communicated my disappointment and the secretary said she would note it on my work order. There was no further communication.

This tree was a 55 foot Chinesse Elm- very dangerous dead tree in the back yeard and in very close proximity to 2 houses and wires. The team showed with all the neceessary equipment, plenty of expert help and they removed that tree with a high level of expertise, safety, and efficiency. These guys knew what they were doing and how to do get it done safely. I shose them initiallly based on insurance held for liabiity, but along with that they have the right equipment and the right people in place.

I Clean Cut was fantastic. I can't say enough good about them. We had a storm Sunday night. Monday morning i found that a 40 year old Bradford pear in front of our home had cracked through the trunk and had fallen. I planned on cutting it up and doing the clean up that afternoon. When i went out to deal with the pear, I found that the monster white pine, a good 75 foot tall [the former owner of the house should never have planted it where he did] and 30 inches around at the base had partially uprooted and was resting, at about a 15 degree angle, against the back of the garage. On the other side of the tree there are power, telephone and cable lines running though the backyard. The head in for the house telephone and electric are right there too. In fact, one branch was less than 6 inches from the electric service line. I went inside, turned to Angie's list and settled on Clean Cut as my first choice. I called and Cheryl-Lynn (sp?) was extremely pleasant and efficient. Despite the fact that they were getting many calls after the storm, she scheduled Chad to come out the next day for an estimate. Chad's estimate was efficiently done and was for less money than I had been prepared for. That white pine and its difficult location really had me worried. Chad expressed concern about the tree resting on the garage and said that he would like to get it done as soon as possible and that he would be in touch within two days to schedule the work. Instead, the next day, Wednesday, a crew of five men, three trucks, a chipper trailer and a small tracked log mover arrived and set to work. Watching them work was like watching the inside of a precision timepiece. The pear in front of the house was gone within the hour. The work on the big pine took about 3 hours including a very good clean-up. The crew was apologetic that the stump grinder could not be over until the next day. The pear stump was ground to a pile of mulch before noon on Thursday. Overall, I was incredibly impressed at the efficiency, quality of work and overall pleasant demeaner of all the workers. Hopefully, I will not need their tree removal services again, but if i do, I will definitely contact them. Thank you Clean Cut.

Contacted Clean Cut to come out for an estimate for our trees in our backyard. They gave us two estimates for all the of the work or just the tree limb and branches on our roof and in the wires. We were not home at the time of the estimate but were pleased with the estimates for the job and the proof of insurance they provided with the estimate. We did have Tree Ranger come out and the guy never left us an estimate. We signed the paperwork and mailed them in to Clean Cut and they said they would be out in a couple of weeks--however--we were surprised when we got a call yesterday and they said they had a cancellation and would be out today. We were happy to hear that. We ended up with having them take two limbs off of one of our trees. The price quoted for the rest of the job is good in the spring so we will definitely have them come back to complete the job. *We were not home for the entire work today---we came home and it didn't even look like they were here. Their cleanup was awesome. The tree looks great. Very happy we checked Angie's List for a list of tree services. We highly recommend Clean Cut Tree Service.

The crew arrived on time they got straight to work crew was polite cleaned up everything I couldn't ask for more...great job!

I would say if you want to do all the work on scheduling the service with a company this is the one to select. Each phone call was one excuse after another on how they were behind, busy with the storm two weeks ago and the scheduler hadn't gotten to it yet but it's on his list. Started this request on September 9th, over a month later it was to be done on October 23rd. One problem the remodel of the home started a day earlier and now the trees were in the way. Cancelled today as my contractor just cut them down, now after all the excuses and wasting of my time it's a 5% charge to cancel. Will NEVER recommend this company to anyone in our neighborhood based on the fact they obviously are getting too many orders and are not staffed appropriately. So if you have 4-6 weeks to wait move forward with them.

Provider showed up on time, cut all dead branches as contracted, cleaned up yard when complete.

So very disappointed by this. It was my first time truly relying on an Angie's list recommendation. Overall, the reviews were very positive and i hope this is unusual and others do not experience it :( I called to set up an appointment and the office staff was incredibly friendly, very professional. We discussed what i wanted and that it made sense for me to be home when the estimator came by. I was told the individuals name that would call in the next couple of days to set something up. I waited a week, still no response. I called the office to follow up - again, incredibly nice very apologetic. She indicated they had been swamped with a recent mailer and my paperwork must have been misplaced. She would have him call me that day. Another week passed, i called again. More apologies and an extenuating circumstance on the part of the estimator. I indicated, i thought it was time for me to move on, but she asked they be given a chance. He would come out the next day before 2, would call first and we could get this set up. No one called or showed up that day (I was home until 3). Late the next day, a Saturday, i found and estimate sheet in my mailbox. Estimate was given on trees that are not even ours (city owned, near the street) with no contact made by the estimator. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and we decided to use another company. I did call the office and let them know and that i appreciated their efforts and professionalism. Quite frankly, that is the reason the grade is a C and not lower!

Initial interview was complete, and well understood by both of us! They all did a great job, clean-up included! I was impressed by the initial friendliness, down-to-earth, no-nonsensical exchange of ideas, for what needed to be done, and finally the actual 'doing crew' were superb!

Clean Cut came out the day before I had my roof replaced. Did an excellent job of removing a tree that had become a problem for the past few years, The tree was touching my roof and my neighbors roof. Also there was another tree that was hanging over both houses and that one was neatly trimmed for us.

This company was awesome. We hired them on the spot because of the knowledge and explanations. At that time, they were a little behind [I think 2 weeks] because of storms that had just occured. We were willing to wait. The crew was fantastic. I think their names were Dave, Mike, and Jeremy. They were polite, nice, thorough, and they worked as a team very well. They did not take long as every guy had a job, and they did it well. As for the job, it was exactly how we wanted it. They cut some of the trees into sections [at my husbands request] into manageable logs he could cut for firewood. Of course, they took the rest of the wood and cleaned the debris as well. The stump grinder came shortly after and was grand and thorough as well. If you need any kind of tree removal done, I would highly recommend this company. Thanks Clean Cut!!!!!

I have an older home with many large trees on my lot. It was time for my maple and crab apple tress to be trimmed, and I had a large sycamore tree in my back yard that was diseased and making a huge mess. Even though I am not into cutting down trees, after filling over 100 compost bags last fall with sycamore leaves, I was at my wits end. My neighbors also have a large sycamore that is leaning into my yard, and I got their permission to remove one large limb. I selected this company based on all their positive Angie's List reviews, and I was not disappointed. They are extremely professional and priced fairly. First off, I enjoyed speaking to an actual person when I called their phone number. So many other tree service companies have only voice mail or ask you to send an e-mail through their website. The gentleman who came out to give me the estimate was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was even willing to accomodate my schedule and come out on a day when I would be home to discuss the job. (Most of the other companies would just come out whenever and then leave an estimate in your front door). I had taken several other estimates since this was a large job, and Clean Cut was right on target. They even came in as the lowest estimate when I showed them my Angie's List coupon. I also like that they were very forthcoming with their insurance information. After all these guys were going to be cutting down large trees in my yard near power lines. It was very easy to set up the appointment. The crew called me before they were scheduled to come out since they were arriving earlier than their projected time. They reviewed the job with me before they got started, and they even offered to remove a small Black Thorn tree (for free!) that was in their way while cutting down the sycamore. I was really pleased with the job overall. The trimming of the maple and crab apple looks very nice and neat. The sycamore tree is gone and so are the messy leaves! The crew cleaned up after themselves, and there was no mess leftover for me to cleanup. They were even willing to spread out the mulch/wood chips from the sycamore tree for me (they initially left me a pile of mulch to use at a later date). It was a very hot day in September, and the crew worked consistently for over 2 hours. No loafing around, no phone calls, no lunch breaks. I am really happy with Clean Cut, and I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

I would recommend clean cut tree experts, inc. to everyone because they were reliable and do excellent work one of my trees split and fell on the neighbors fence they came out right away and I signed the contract they were back in a few days to release the tree from the fence then on july 3rd the crew arrived at 8:30 AM to cut down three large trees and to remove all debris job well done my friends agreed it was a good price thanks to angies list l Seaborg Madison heights mi

Clean Cut rep. came out the next day after I called. In a couple of days the removers came while I was at work and removed the tree. The came the next few days, slight delay because of equipment problems, and ground away the stump. Very clean job.

The company responded to my inquiry with a quick estimate. Service was completed on time and as quoted. They were polite, efficient, friendly, and helpful - aside from obviously being good at their jobs. They provided written proof of insurance. This is an excellent company, highly recommended.

I was satisfied with the service and the price but it took a while for them to come out.
