The service repairman was professional and explained exactly what needed to be done

I was scared my AC was toast and would have to be replaced but once they tuned it up it's like new. Nice guys, on time.

Delighted with everything, price, equipment and performance. (My home energy costs down over 1/3 so far.) 5+ people working in the home for 3 days, very professional, clean, gentlemen, left the house clean and were very careful not to damage anything. Checked in several times to ensure we were pleased and equipment working to our satisfaction. Handled requesting rebates for us as well. Even county inspector commented this was a good company. Having worked with contractors previously, this was a pleasure.

They showed up when they said they would, were very professional and did exactly what was contracted for. Showed me items where improvements could be made in the future. The system is working better. Well worth the money

Checked pressure at outside unit OK and discharge temp at main plenum OK. Did not look at coil, fan, fan motor or bearings. Seemed superficial as compared to what I have have had done previously. I am having someone else do an inspect/PM later this week.

From start to finish they were very professional. They were patient, answered all of my questions and worked around my schedule. These guys work as a team. They cleaned up the site and took away the old equipment. The air conditioner has been wonderful. I have not turned it off since it was installed and my electric bills are a lot lower than they were with my old unit last year.

After I called them, they said they didn’t service my region. I got the Big Deal refunded. There was some confusion with getting my money back, but it all worked. I feel that they should not have come up as a Big Deal option. If I lived in their serviced region I would think about using them.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. He was very good, he turned up on time, he replaced the air filter, which I was expecting, and I was expecting extra charges, but he just charged for the filter. This was the first time to use them. I would definitely recommend them, the person who came out did a nice job.

They were prompt in returning my initial call. We got quotes from 4 companies and they were all within $500 or so of each other, but Matheson was the lowest. And I'd say all 4 companies were prompt and professional, but Matheson seemed to go the extra mile in providing us information and explaining everything. We selected them, they showed up on time, they were very polite and professional, and the work took the time they said it would take. The person doing the installation took time to answer all our questions following the installation. Overall it was a very positive experience and I'd highly recommend them. We will likely call them back this fall to clean our furnace, and if we have any other heating/cooling needs in the future.

As expected. Overall, I was pleased, but they require a 4-hr. window for a service call, which I really don't like in general. Due to weather, I then had to wait another 4-hrour window to get the second visit. While I realize that the weather is not their fault, I still think repair peoplein general, could narrow down their arrival time, as I have to do during my work day.

Called them on a Sunday morning for service, a service rep inspected and said we needed a new heat exchanger (approximately $900.00) or we could consider replacing the 80% efficient furnace with a new 96% efficient furnace. Spoke to a representative later that same day and the next day two installers were at our house by 8:00a to do a replacement. Our home is 2700 sq. ft. two story. They finished the installation by 12:30 pm and we were warm by 1:30pm. They cleaned up very well and did a good job on the installation even moving the water heater vent pipe so that it was more out of the way. Only one problem, in May when the weather got hot I turned on the AC unit and the condenser would not run. I called and they sent someone out the next morning. It turned out that they had not wired the A/C and thermostat properly when they replaced the furnace. Quick fix, done in about 45 minutes and no charge.

I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed and out of three people that I interviewed, they passed my test and so I selected them to have the ions replaced and they did a really good job. They were prompt in coming. They were expedient in removing the old stuffs and putting the new in. They're very clean by cleaning everything up so, everything was spick and span. They're very cordial and nice to do business with.

They were great. The service man took his time and answered all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We love the furnace and air-conditioning! They are waiting to install the high-end filtration system and clean our air ducts until after our painter is finished. They routinely call to check our remodeling status.

They are always very helpful and patient. I like to ask a lot of questions. They like that I ask questions so they can educate me on an emergency situation. They even take the water hose and clean my A/C unit off.

The company did a great job. We were pleased with the service and felt like we got a good deal for our money. We will use them again in the future.

Our A/C went out Thursday evening. I immediately looked up HVAC repair on Angie's List. I called one Arge Family company with 80 trucks and they said they could get to me in a week. This has been a week of 90 degree heat and 100%humidity I figured HVAC companies would be extremely busy - few more calls to companies with A ratings but many did not have answering services. Matheson did and their Tech called back right away. We had to wait until the next morning and we were the first service call in the morning. They called when they were on the way, they were very neat putting on booties when walking in the house. They inspected the furnace and furnace filter, then focused on the outside unit. It turns out the capacitor was shot from running constantly for 4 days. The A/C is about 8 years old and I didn't want to replace the unit but all it ended was that capacitor. A $200 repair over $2,500-$3,000 replacement cost. Plus the part is warranted for 5 years.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were professional and prompt, we didn't have any issues. I was satisfied with their service.

I had purchased a Big Deal $55 for 15 Point Precision A/C Tune-up. I called today to get this scheduled and need this done asap. I told the lady who answered the phone that I had purchased this Big Deal and she informed me that I couldn't use this coupon and I explained that this is not what the coupon says and it became almost confrontational and she finally says that she will write it up that way for now and could schedule me for tomorrow between 12n-7pm. Thats a large window of time to be waiting on a service and I told her that I didn't trust their service now and I didn't want them to come out after her stating she would write ticket up like the coupon says for NOW and then get here and not honor the what the coupon says, I told her we were obviously not a good match and I just wanted a refund. I do not want to work with this service provider any further.

, A previous HVAC company told me that hundreds of dollars of work necessary and that the system was OVERCHARGED with coolant. This made no sense to me so I called Matheson based on prior good experience. They came and did the tune-up again, finding no evidence of overcharge, need for additional cleaning, repairsetc etc. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Wrote to owner explaining that I was still concerned about the discrepant evaluations. He wrote back promptly and told me he had reviewed results of test done by his company and was confident they were correct. Promised to back up work if AC had issues this summer. It's been 2 months, without any problems at all. AC works great.

It went okay and I would say that they are a little unorganized. The guy that came out did not know that I had purchased the big deal. I figured if they were sending someone out he would know what to do. I think that the guy was a little bit rude. I used it 2 or 3 days later. They did not charge me more than the big deal. I would not use them again.

They came out immediately and did a good job. They took away the old parts. Their prices were a little high but they did good work.
