Travis came promptly for the appointment and found that the furnace was leaking carbon monoxide due to improper combustion. The CO was not in the house but outside in the exhaust. He then shut down the furnace and determined that I needed a new one. Very happy that I got the deal and the found out before it became a disaster. Very happy with the service provided by Matheson.

He told us that we had two parts that needed tp be replaced. Today we had Todd come out to the house and price a replacement furance.

Excellent. I have absolutely no complaints. They are the best company I have ever dealt with in Michigan. My AC went out at the beginning of Labor Day weekend and although they could not actually replace the unit until the 2 days after Labor Day, they were only ones who answered their phone on the holiday and helped me make the diagnosis and were willing to come out on the holiday if I had wanted to. The day after Labor Day, a salesman came out and explained everything to me and was very patient with my questions. They did all the work the following morning and were very efficient and completely cleaned up everything after themselves. I only wish I could find companies as good as this for all the work and services I need done.

Matheson team did great. showed up for work exactly as promised (I was working against a deadline) and completed the work, including cleaning up after themselves, on time. Only little hiccup was the financing... because of the amount of work being done, I elected to do 12 months same as cash. This was financed through GE Capital by Matheson. Matheson initiated the paperwork with GE well before the work was scheduled to even start. So I was a little wary and notified GE that I would let them know when the work was completed to my satisfaction before starting the clock on financing. May just have been miscommunication,

HEverything went very well. We met with Todd and he took the time to educate us on our options without any pressure. He made us aware of several rebates that would be available that the other companies that we talked to did not mention. Once we decided to go ahead with the work Matheson was able to do the installation within one 1 week. On the day of the installation Todd showed up with the installers, Scott and Chris. Todd took us through what was going to happen through out the day. he also took all of the information required for the rebates so that he could submit them for us. Scott and Chris were very professional and when they were done took us through the operation of our new HVAC system. When they left the basement and yard were spotless like they had never been here, they hauled everything away. This has been an extremely pleasant experience.

Everything went fine. We had some communication issues with rescheduling the appointment, but the service technician came out on a day we didn't have an appointment on the off chance we would be available (they are close to our house). It worked out and everything went fine.

It went very well. They were very prompt and courteous. They communicated very well when they were here.

I really have nothing but good to say about Matheson. Great office staff for scheduling. Both the duct cleaning and plumbing was done in a timely fashion. The home was left clean. Great experience. I will use again.

I have had a very good experience with them. I would give them "A's" all the way down. They might be a little pricey, but I would definitely give them a very very good. This is the first time we used them. They were very timely. They were very helpful. They followed through nicely. We were under a pressured deadline and it worked beautifully with them. They were recommended to us by a friend.

Very professional, came in with a competitive cost with first bid. Other competitor had higher bid, then tried to lower their bid, and still was not competitive with Matheson Heating and Air Conditioning. There was one issue where the AC Unit had a small leak and lost freon, they immediately came out, found the leak and fixed it with absolutely no hassle. Great company!

Even though Jared was unable to replace/repair our outside water source, he did make it "safe" for winter. We will call him again once this source can be traced inside. Very, very happy.

We took advantage of the Angie's List deal for a $55 air conditioner tune-up. He cleaned the filter, checked the air conditioner (both indoors and the outdoor parts), and found them to be running well. We appreciated that despite the a/c being 20+ years old, far older than they tend to be expected to last, he didn't pressure us into replacing the system. Everything still works great.

That went well. They did the job that they were supposed to do. They showed up on time and they responded correctly. Everything was good there and the price was also okay.

I had the furnace inspected and tuned up. This furnace is 20 years old. The tech found the burners were burnt through causing it to use too much gas. I had them send out a sales guy to get a price for a new furnace. ...$4500..ouch. We decided to have the burners replaced instead. They charged $890 to do that which I thought was too much for a 1/2 hour job. I seems the parts are overpriced as well as the labor. But I did get three quotes for the new furnace and they were in the ballpark. Nice people I just think the price of repair was jacked up to entice me to go with a new furnace.

The job went very well. The fan on compressor unit stop working. Service man came out the next day and replaced the dual capacitor for $239 and told me that I will have to pay another $99 for service call. I asked for a Angieslist's member discount he then let me use $55 coupon discount (for A/C tune-up) for service call. I am not sure if I was treated fairly with service call charged.

It went very well fixed it very fast and not much money and the plumber was just terrific , very nice I would certainly call them again.

The installers were terrific and my township inspector said it was excellent work. Mark Ebner did a great job explaining all the options including the rebate systems and was very accessible both before as well as after the installation. My wife's comment after the new system was installed was if she had known what a difference it made, we should have done it years ago. One of Matheson's technicians, Trevor, came out & fined tune the system for me. Every Matheson employee I met from the installers, the duct work cleaner, the duct work installers as well as Trevor & Mark showed a great deal of expertise & pride in their work.

Trevor was great!! On time, friendly, and very helpful. Once he started the a/c tune up we talked about our need for salt for the water softener. He made a call and the salt was delivered, added to the water softener all before he left!! I will definitely hire this vendor again......

All in all, I would say it was a mediocre job. The inspector would not go into the attic where part of the a/c unit was located --which begs the question, how thorough of a job did he do? He did seem to review some things. He washed off the filter with our hose in the backyard. Other than that, nothing too worthy to note. He stated that he ran the a/c and that it cycled OK. But, that was something both my husband and I could do. He was supposed to have someone from the office call us back about a quote for a new furnace and they never did. But, in all fairness, that could be something beyond the inspector's control.

I was contacted promptly after buying the Angie's List Deal to set up an appointment. A gentleman came out shortly after to perform the A/C tune up. He was on time, quickly performed his task and was nice to my puppy. Overall a good experience.

I bought the big deal to have them look at my furnace while they were out to get my ac running. Turned out both need major work. They quoted pricing and were great to work with.
