Description of Work: Received an estimate in may and could not get back to them until sept. In the meantime, they decided not to do jobs for less than 5,000. Waste of my time and dissatisfied I was not aware of this new rule even when they came out second time to revisit the potential work.

 + 0 moreThey squeezed us in as they were giving another quote. The price was very fair and included a drop dazed on the number of houses that signed up. The put up with the township delays and kept to the price. They called on a holiday weekend and were out the next day starting the grading. The following day they finished the asphalting. They gave us extra depth in problem areas a deftly maintained the proper drainage. They did everything they should to not disturb the existing planting and grass. Later they did a fantastic job on our private road. They warned us of the danger to our dogs feet as well as the proper handling of the new asphalt.
Description of Work: Graded land and installed an asphalt drive.

 + -1 moreCarl Johnson inspected the old driveway, recommended that I replace my retaining wall supporting the driveway, and gave me an estimate for replacing the asphalt driveway. After I had the retaining wall replaced, I called Carl and reported such, and told I wanted his company to asphalt my driveway. The following Monday, Allied came out and removed the old asphalt and replaced it with new asphalt. They did a great job, made the changes in the layout I requested, cleaned up, put up warning tape and left, ALL IN ONE DAY!
Description of Work: Removed old asphalt driveway, filled base with stones, layed new asphalt driveway.

 + -1 moreThe crew was very professional and polite. I took pictures of the job before, during and after and I am very pleased with the whole experience. The whole job was done in a day. I had the estimate on Friday and the job was done on Monday, all schedules stated were done on time.
Description of Work: Part of the old driveway was removed, so it would drain properly and the rest was resurfaced. The old driveway was full of cracks and had grass and weeds growing through.

 + -1 moreWere on time for giving estimate and doing work. Very professional and courteous. Although not part of the estimate, when the work crew wasn't happy with an existing paved apron leading to the old drive, they removed it and repaved it with a proper grade for drainage at no extra cost to me. Allied have heavy duty, modern equipment for MDOT highway work and were able to both grade and pave my drive in 1/2 a day. Outstanding experience.
Description of Work: Put in a new asphalt drive over a gravel drive. About 160 feet of driveway plus a parking/turn-around area.
