+ -1 moreI would never use these people for anything again. Between fighting to get them to stand behind the faulty furnace, they lied to me repeatedly about the new one they installed and the faulty installation. I will be reporting this to the licensing bureau of Michigan. They don't stand behind their mistakes, they won't take phone calls when there is a problem. I'm still waiting on a check for $1000 for the extra propane that was burned up when the improperly furnace was running. I don't see this company being in business too much longer with this new owner.
Description of Work: They installed a new furnace for me in January of 2004. October of 2006 it was already rusted out. Fought to have them replace it. Insisted that I pay $650 to put a new air-conditioning coil that they didn't say needed to be replaced with initial install. Two days after new furnace was installed, the furnace was not heating. I called to report problem and Todd Hurst came out to check it. He said they had installed a natural gas, not a propane orifice. Told me everything was fine. Because of the mild winter, I hardly used the furnace. But, when it did run, there was a load pop and then lots of noise. It wouldn't shut off by itself. I called about the problem. Todd said he would send someone out to look at it. Long story short. They put in a new furnace without informing me because they knew it could have blown up. Don't ever use these people!

+ -1 moreWorkers were polite and appeared to be competent, but caused some damage to existing radiator valvess that should never have been touched. All damage repaired at our expense. On the return appointment to refill the system, workers arrived several hours late and, due to their late arrival, worked into the evening hours. Then they billed us for overtime rates. Took several phone calls and one meeting with the manager to get a minor (unsatisfactory) adjustment to our bill. Would not use again for this type of work. May be just fine on more traditional jobs.
Description of Work: Multiple minor repairs of old boiler in large four unit 1885 Victorian Home. System had to be drained to facilitate repairs.

+ -1 moreTHIS COMPANY HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW FURNACE WENT VERY SMOOTHLY AND QUICKLY. WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH OUR FURNACE SINCE THEN.

+ -1 moreTHEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY WERE QUICK TO FIX THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE UP FRONT WITH HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST.
Description of Work: THEY HAD TO REPLACE A SENSOR IN MY FURNACE.
