Jim was patient and let me pick out the faucets, taking time to really find what I wanted. Then he picked up the faucets at the store for me! He worked after 7pm and completely finished what he was doing. I told him he was my favorite plumber. I will definitely call him if I need plumbing work again. (He put in a water heater for me before and worked long hours for that too.)

We got really lucky. They were able to come late in the afternoon (so I didn’t have to take off work) and repaired the leak in about an hour. He also repaired our water shutoff valve that we thought mught be permanently frozen. He was very nice, clear about the estimate, and arrived when he said he would.

On time and on budget.

Jim arrived right on time. He was able to determine what needed to be done and provide an accurate estimate in a matter of minutes. He then went out to get parts, promptly returned, and completed the work with as little intrusion/disruption as possible. He got us back in commission in no time.

I ultimately called for an estimate but Jim was here, completed the work of replacing a part and done all within 30 minutes. The price was really reasonable I am very satisfied with his work and will call again if any other plumbing issues arise. Excellent Work!!!

Jim was timely, the services were performed at a reasonable cost, and he was very efficient.  I would strongly recommend anyone in need of residential plumbing services to contact Jim's Plumbing of Battle Creek.

On the plus side, added an Air Admittance Valve and larger drain line, so the sinks drain really well now.  Overall, a very professional looking job.
On the minus side, twenty minutes late; no big deal.  Seemed unfamiliar with the Delta faucet I'd purchased, but luckily I'd read the installation directions the night before and we got it together.  Left plumber's putty in the sinks that I had to clean up.  Used a sawz-all to cut pvc pipe in my kitchen, which left a lot of debris that I also had to clean up.
OVERALL, I would have rated him an "A" except when he was done he said to "make the check out for $250" when he had quoted me $200 the day before.  I'm sure the job took longer than he expected - he was late for the next job - so I offered to split the difference, which he agreed to.
Note: I checked online and could not verify any Michigan licenses.

We had two issues: there was a hammering sound that was occurring when the water was turned on and our kitchen sink was dripping continuously.  He installed arrestors on the hot and cold for our washing machine to eliminate the hammering sound.  He was unable to fix the sink faucet, but drove all the way back to town to pick up a new faucet for us and then installed it.  We were very pleased with his work.

The guy from Jim's Plumbing was fairly priced and came and got it down in no time at all. He didn’t leave a mess. He arrived when he said he was going to arrive. He didn’t take long to figure out what was wrong and fixed it.

He was referred to me by a friend. He always comes when I call him. This was the second time I called him and he was here within the day. His price is reasonable.
