Kyle St. John: " It unclogged, but then it backed right back up. Your sink has PVC pipe. The issue seems to be the pipe that is connected to your sink that leads from the roof downward. We've got to go through your wall and replace your pipe. There's some kind of blockage, rust or something. It's an old pipe. It'll cost $1250." ME: "Do you have a snake with a camera to look at what's going on inside the pipe to tell you that you've got to suddenly go through my wall?" Kyle St. John: "NO ma'am." Me: "I'll get back with you." Kyle St. John left half a sink of sludge in my sink, cleaned the floor, but left the nasty towel on the floor. My house smelled like sewage from being in the sink all day. I had to clean the sink out after I got home from work. He charged me $269. After the shock of the fee that he quoted me, I sought outside of Angie and called Cregger Plumbing and told them what transpired with Kyle St. John. Cregger Plumbing came March 25, 2025, to assess the problem. I was told it was the exhaust pipe, but they did not need to tear up my wall. He told me they would get on the roof and snake down the exhaust pipe. They informed me it would only cost $654. Cregger Plumbing not only cleared the exhaust pipe from that bathroom, but they also cleared the exhaust pipe from the kitchen.

Could not solve the problem. Only had one solution. The most expensive one: to break the floor to open the drain.

Do not meet appointment time lines, incompetent, they broke pipes, they left us with out pluming and a big hole in our bathroom floor

They responded very quickly and did their work in a timely manner, but, when they were supposed to follow up? They totally dropped the ball... After several phone calls and promises to come back out for additional work, they never came.

- [ ] On March 26 one of their plumbers came out because I had a flood in the basement. The end result was to have the drain snaked. The plumber waited until he got all his tools out of the truck and back in the house before he even gave me a price of how much it was going to cost and I had to ask him. He proceeded to chisel and hammer the floor drain plug off. When he finally got the plug off it was damaged to the point where it would not go back on and the outer rim of the pipe coming out of the floor was damaged (uneven) too. When he finished he asked me if I wanted him to put a new plug on. So I told him yes because apparently the old plug will not go back on. He then told me an astronomical price of how much the plug would cost that. He suggested that I go to Home Depot and I could get it a lot cheaper. When I looked at the time Home Depot was in the process of closing, so I just said Iâ ll pay for the plug from you. The plumber then says oh I forgot I donâ t have any and then tell me what size I need to buy when I go to the store the next day. When the job is complete I gave the Edwards plumber my credit card information, he then told me when he gets into the truck and gets everything situated he will send me a receipt via email. I never received a receipt. The next day I went to Home Depot and purchased a plug the size the plumber told me to get. When I went to install the plug it was the wrong size the (Edwards) plumber told. So I had to go back to Home Depot and purchase the right size. Fast forward to a text message I received on June 10th, 2021 in regards to an outstanding invoice from my services on March 26th,2021. When I called Edwards plumbing to find out why I am receiving a text message saying I have an outstanding invoice the lady on the phone did not care about anything other than collecting the payment. I explained the whole situation from top to bottom and she still disregarded everything I said and kept asking me how will I be making a payment. From there I ended up speaking to another person which I assume was from billing. She told me that she was going to look into it, forward to a manager and I was going to hear back. It is now July 5, 2021 and I never received a call back Nor have I heard anything from Edwards plumbing about the situation. So today July 5th, 2021 I called around 10:00 AM and I was told that the person in billing was on the phone and they will call me back. I waited about an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes for a return call and never got it back. So I decided to call back and I was told by the first person to answer the phone that they were closing at noon now itâ s around 11:50 AM. That person stated that they would forward the information over to their manager which was basically the same thing that I was told back on June 10th of 2021. I have no idea whatâ s going on with their bookkeeping or their customer service but surely I will not be using them ever again this was my first, only and last time using Edwards Plumbing.

Its been a year now since we had to have our front yard dug up. Its only now that I can talk about it without being emotional. Edwards Plumbing and Heating has an inverse business model. They over-promise and under-deliver. A job that should have taken 8 days took 29 and it was always someone elseâ s fault. They came in and out of my house during a pandemic without masks. They re-flooded my basement twice, once by forgetting to put the sewer cap back on. I awoke to a thin layer of sludge. The second time, they neglected to put on the downspout after putting down a layer of sand in the hole by the house. A storm saturated the sand and began to leak into my basement through the wall. I stepped into quicksand that was up to my thigh putting the downspout back on. I called other contractors to try and get them to looking at our job. When they found out I had hired Edwards, they refused. One even laughed. They were practiced and relaxed as they treated me like an ATM. Ultimately, I had to treat them like prostitutes. I paid them to go away. He came late in the evening about 10 or 10:30. When he was finished he did not clean or sanitize the area he was working in dealing with raw sewage. I have had plumbers in my house before working with raw sewage they cleaned and sanitized after they were done. The price for a simple snake job was way over the top. They charged me 750 dollars. I would not recommend this service they are unprofessional and overpriced.

The Technician that serviced this very difficult drain issue was outstanding. His name is Ryan Lee. Not only is he very skilled at his craft, but he also demonstrated courtesy and honesty in his direct diagnostic opinions with a determined attitude to resolve the problem, whatever it takes. Superior work ethics.

Scott came out & had our fireplace working quickly. He was very personable & I would hire them for any of my plumbing needs! Their fabulous! Just ask for Scott!

Ended up with a major repair of sewer line. They completed the job in 1 day and left everything very neat for having to dig up the yard. The service was quick especially during the holiday season.

Very unhappy

The company came out right away and a follow up visit was within days of initial call. I think the cost was a little too high since the plumbers were only here fir about 4 hours and they didnâ t have to dig that far down, and it was not a very large hole. However; the workers were polite, friendly and showed us what needed to be done. I would hire these two fellows again.

Scheduling and relating changes could be improved. The people who came out had been at a job very late the night before and were understandably sleeping in a bit. This was not communicated to me, so I called to find out what was going on. Dispatch did call to let me know people were on the way. The people who came out did a good job and communicated what was going on very well. The damage to the lawn was kept to a minimum (had sewer line out to easement replaced).

Connor Riblett was a great plumber, who went the extra mile. He suggested a camera snake when his regular snake did not detect any clogs in our sewer line. When a lot of roots were found in the clay sewer pipe near the house, he offered to pull the worst of them out with a snake. When the roots proved to be more than a snake could handle, he showed us the problem away from the house on a camera snake, which confirmed our need for jetting.

Very professional company to deal with they contacted me and told me when the tech was in my area and he met me at my house promptly and resolved the clogged drain issue. Will definitely contact them when I need future plumbing work.

Did a good job

Gave me a price extremely similar to other firms, BUT Edwards included a complete repair of the sinkhole in my street (some other firms told me I would have to fix that part myself for the same price!). They also gave me a written estimate which I needed to get financing (another firm did not). They were friendly, professional, worked extremely hard, and even the city inspector (who I spoke to before my final hire decision) said that Edwards would complete the job the way it should be done. Took 2 days total: first day, they excavated the street and repaired the line, second day, they passed inspection and fixed the street. Worked all day (didn't even see them take breaks). This is major work: spend your money wisely. Edwards is recommended.
