+ 3 moreHoward and his new guy John seem to know how to repair, replace, or install just about anything. However, they need to work on responsiveness and punctuality. (This is the second time I've lowered those ratings. 1-7-11) 1-13-11 Third time I've lowered their ratings. It's been eight days since they said, "we are going to Lowe's to pick up some materials, we'll be right back." They've left a table saw and a hand saw in my garage, several tool belts and boxes in my upstairs. (I moved everything outside.) While looking on Craig to find a new handyman, I'm shocked to see that they have posted a new ad asking for business. If you'd finish the original projects...
Description of Work: My 1890s house is an ongoing project with many different things needing to be repaired or completed. I found Howard via an internet listing service, and hired him to finish drywalling my newly-framed half bath. Excellent job, no issues, it's done. Handed over my punch list and he's been working through it: --attic gable vents installed, blown-in insulation added --new exterior door installed (removing a wood-frame window, cutting the opening, insulation, trim) --revise stair landing, very old and very new wooden plank flooring. This is now variegated and looks much better. Installation is very good.
