Hustus Tree Service

Hustus did a great job of removing three large trees and nine small one. Two of the large trees were in a difficult location and were cut down without incident. They removed and cleaned up all debris. They were fast and efficient and very good to work with. I will call them again if the need arises.

I made a general internet inquiry for tree removal. Bert Hustus arrived on scene that very same day. A large old pine tree was on the verge of snapping near its base, which would have sent it crashing onto the garage. He assessed the situation and told me what it would take logistically and financially to get the job done. The very next morning his crew went to work, bringing down the tree, saving the garage and cleaning up the mess. And he stayed within the estimated price range. I found Hustus Tree Service to be quick to respond, reliable, thorough and straightforward. Much appreciated.

They did a great job removing the trees that I had requested they take care of. He was even able to avoid my burning bush which is right next to the largest tree he had to take out. Clean up was perfect. All branches and even leaves were gone when they left. My only recommendation is that they call if they are not able to come on the day promised. They came 4 weeks after the initial date given and they didn't call to let me know they were not coming..I had to call them. A few simple phone calls would have put them at a full 5 stars! Other than that, the job itself was done in a professional manner.

They came at the designated time, removed the dead limbs, cleaned up the mess on the snow/ice/gravel drive and took the dead stuff away i a matter of a few hours. Quick to respond to request. Went to the site and gave me a complete quote. Exact $$$ to do the job. Gave and kept a deadline for completing the project. Did an outstanding job cleaning up the debris.. Highly recommend this company. Hustus Tree Service took great care in providing the best service we could have asked for. They did a GREAT job. They took care of the trees, property and cleaned up everything very well. They knew what they were doing and priced competitively. They gave me a discount since I did all 8 trees instead of the 2 that I first inquired about. I will definitely use them again, I have more trees next year that will need to be rimmed.

Overall a terrific job - Skilled, fast response, on time, great clean-up. I was extemely pleased and have already referred two people to him!!!

August 05, 2009 I found Bert and his service to be price competitive and very responsible in his work ethic. This can be a rare combination today and I feel any prospective customer should weigh these factors. I will have Bert return for future trimming work and am glad to recommend his business....
