John came to our home and looked at our driveway and listened to what we wanted done, He explained the process, the material, and the pros and cons of having the project done with the material we wanted. He got to the job in a reasonable time frame and was very responsive when contacted. The driveway is so smooth, solid and compact, it feels like driving on pavement. The price was exactly as the estimated although more material was used in spots than expected and more time was spent compacting and rolling the material on the driveway,

After being rescheduled from fall to the following spring the end result was worth it. We have a tricky drainage situation that John and his crew dealt with perfectly by grading and pitching the new surface so that storm run off flows away from the garage and into the lawn where it is absorbed.

John was very prompt in coming to give us his estimate, and he was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do throughout the paving process. His first step in the process was for grading and laying a sub-base, and he was very prompt on arriving the day this was done. He removed large stones during the grading process to avoid later problems. After 3 weeks, allowing the sub base to settle, he returned to finish pave the asphalt. He was exactly on time, with his crew and equipment. He directed his crew in a professional manner. Every person knew their job. The paving looks great, and numerous neighbors have commented on how nice it looks. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The old driveway material was cleaned up efficiently. The prep work was very professionally done. The owner, John Korpaczewski, oversees the project and he has the utmost pride in workmanship. The quality of our new driveway is excellent. This new driveway adds a lot of curb appeal to our home. This is the same driveway that they put down 2 years ago. John was great about getting back to us and also addressing our concerns in regards to the weather affecting the job getting down. Looks great and we recommended him to a friend who was looking for the same thing and he got right back to them as well. A little more expensive than others but he explained the quality of the product and the service to us. They back their work.

John called me back immediately and gave us the estimate. Out of all the bids we got his was not the cheapest but he was the only person who was able to describe in detail what would be done to address several challenges we had with our driveway. It slopes down from the road, and they did an amazing job designing the area to make it functional and beautiful. They came right when they said they would, patiently answered a million questions we had throughout the process, and brought in reclaim, loan, and rip rap where needed. They called afterwards to follow up and make sure we were completely satisfied and make sure we understood how to take care of the asphalt going forward for the best results. The final product looks amazing so we are very satisfied.

John and his crew removed the old driveway and laid a foundation (for lack of a better word). That foundation settled for a couple weeks and then they returned and paved over the driveway. It looks great! John and his crew were amazing to watch. It was like clockwork. Everyone had a job to do and each person did their job well. They were efficient, hard working and are obviously gifted in their occupation. John was polite and informative and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and his team!

Very, very well. John K was terrific to deal with. He is a real pro and rose to the challenge of what must have been an atypical installation. He worked hard to pitch the driveway correctly for drainage and to blend in with the existing edging. John did the installation in two phases. First he prepared the driveway with a solid reclaim base, letting it settle for 10 days before returning to lay the asphalt. On both occasions John brought a large crew so the work was completed very quickly. The driveway looks great! We had torrential rain the day after installation and it drained perfectly.

Amazing! John and his entire crew installed the base as was noted on my estimate, at the end of July. Then a few weeks later, as promised, our new asphalt driveway was installed perfectly in mid-August. The job only took 1/12 hours each time and the end result is exactly as I envisioned it and exactly as was promised in my estimate. Each and every person on the team was extremely professional and totally focused on their job. I was extremely impressed with the promptness of the company, arriving when they said they would. John explained how to care for the new driveway (waiting 5-6 days to drive on it, do not turn your car wheel unless moving - to avoid indentations that will be permanent and to make sure to build up around the edges with loam and grass seed to avoid breaking the edges). I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a driveway installed.

Excellent. Professional all the way from when we met for the quote in the spring to today's top coat being applied. John always kept me up to date with the schedule and when they would be here. Price was extremely fair, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Solid work!!

It went just as planned. John clearly laid out what would happen, prepping the driveway, some time to let that settle correctly, and then coming back to pave and he showed up the days he said he would. We had a two car driveway with a rock wall down the length (and wall is a generous word for this tumble of stones) and a sunken flower bed at the end of it. The team did a great job of paving around all that, up to our new granite steps on the walkway, and making something that always felt like a chore look really great!

I was very please with the service provided by John Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt. John was very responsive all through the process. He met with me to go over the job and explain the process versus coming by when I was not there and giving a quote via email. I appreciated John taking the time to go over the work he would do and explaining the lead time before he could start. The work was completed in the timeframe he said and I am very happy with the work performed. I would highly recommend John to others.

John impressed me from the very start and walked me through all of my options for my driveway in person. During the resurfacing effort, there were a few hurdles that John and the crew dealt with professionally at no additional cost to me. The end result was beautiful and better than I was hoping for. It was completed in a timely fashion and John was communicative throughout. I would definitely recommend their services for anyone considering asphalt paving.

John did a great job on our rental property. When he came out to provide a quote he was quickly able to identify the specific issues we were having with the property and provide solutions. Leading up to the work John kept me informed of his schedule and was able to answer any questions I had. During the work there were a few areas that required extra labor and materials but he did not increase his price. With a crew of 8 the work was done quickly and professionally. John takes great pride and care in his work and provides a beautiful end result. We would not hesitate to use him again on another property.

Great!!! John came by to look at the scope of the work. We came up with a plan and a price. John and his guys started on the scheduled date and did an outstanding job. Cleaned up after the job was complete. Would hire them again.

Good communication and they followed through and got the job done when others failed to follow up with me or follow through. They did a good job and I'm sure my driveway will stay nice for many years to come.

I am so pleased with the owner and his company! I spoke with two companies regarding paving my driveway. After speaking with John Korpaczewski, I knew his company was going to be my choice. He returned my call promptly, came out to the site within that week, and spent time talking to me and giving me options about asphalt paving versus using reclaimed on my driveway. He listened to my concerns and gave me a honest answers. He gave me a written estimate on the spot, and even called 2 days later (on a Saturday!) to see if I had any further questions. He and his team showed up when promised and it is very nice to have the owner on the job site to ensure quality. They did not take any shortcuts. He spent time educating me how to take care of the surface and how to protect the edges. This is the company you want to do your paving. Their demand is high and worth the wait.

Did not have the work done. Putting it off until next year. As to, "will I hire again?", I did not hire anyone for this project.

John was easy to contact, stayed in touch, and moved quickly. In 2 weeks I had a brand new driveway, draining the rain perfectly. He stayed in touch with me, even on the weekends, and answered all of my questions. He showed up on time with his team, worked efficiently, and checked in with me on his way out. I would recommend.

I called for a quote and never received a call back. If they are this responsive on the sale i can image the response time after they have my deposit. Disappointed...

First of all John arrived when scheduled for estimate, wrote up an estimate and discussed with me my issues and made a recommendation for dealing with water pooling at bottom of driveway etc.... John estimate back in March of estimate that he put my in his schedule for end of May. John contacted me a week before the would start the job, which he did excavate end of May, immediately John contacted me when they noticed my basement window frame was rotted and suggested they not continue the next week with asphalt til I could get the window checked out. He also patched a hole in the concrete because he knew it would take awhile to get resolved. I kept John updated on what was going on with the window project and he kept me updated on when they were coming back to install stone border. I kept John updated when the window would be fixed and he was able to accommodate my driveway the Monday after it was complete. His staff was fast and accurate, John gave me specific details on what to expect and how to ensure the driveway stayed beautiful. I really appreciated John's professionalism and kindness for looking out for my home and ensuring the installation of the driveway was up to my satisfaction. I have already recommended John to friends.

John & crew laid a thick base of reclaimed asphalt after grading the driveway. They let it settle and came back to lay the fresh stuff. My driveway is relatively large with a circular feature and quite a few complexities. They weren't phased. The driveway is gorgeous and I have even had people stop to ask who did the work.
