The work was performed a couple of days after receiving the estimate. They were prompt, professional and extremely reasonable. They cleaned up the yard thoroughly. If I could give them a higher rating, I would. I highly recommend this company!!!

It took a while to get the work done as it was a small job, but when scheduled, they showed up on time went right to work. They removed all the branches that I wanted, and did a neat job. They were careful not to drop branches on newly planted shrubs below. They chipped all branches. When they left the yard was neater than when they started. I am going to have them do more work in the spring.

I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate on tree removal services and the appointment was made for the following day in the morning.. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up or called to inform me they couldn't make the appointment.

They did an excellent job. They were on time and pleasant to deal with. The clean up was great and complete. They did stay over to complete the agreed work. They put together a nice package deal for us.

They basically did what we needed done and then they cleaned up. We were not happy that they dropped such a large part of the tree on our property rather than cutting off more pieces at a time. They just cut off and dropped the tree. These are big trees that reach as far as you can look up in to the sky. So this is a big tree coming down in our yard. We were not happy that they took such a large portion right at the beginning and let it drop in such a large piece. Other companies we've used had have taken smaller portions off at a time and lowered them with a rope so that you don't have such a big thud and huge piece coming down into your lawn. They ran into our mail box and destroyed it. However, the owner who was on site went out to the store while they were here working and purchased another one like the one we had only a little bigger. So he made good on what they did. They should not have been so careless when backing their truck around the mail box. After they worked on our tree they came back to do work on an even bigger tree in our neighbor's yard. They asked permission to use our driveway to get their equipment up because the tree was close to our property and difficult to get to it from our neighbor's driveway. So we gave them permission to use our driveway to bring their heavy trucks and permission to get to this huge oak tree down. We did give them permission for that but then they took it upon themselves to go ahead and use our property without asking to drop the large portions of the neighbor's tree on to our yard and the some of the bushes. They did not ask us about dropping all of that on to our property. They might have asked us about some smaller things but we were not aware that they asked us about dropping the large parts of that tree on to our yard. It was the most convenient place for them to drop it but if they would have cut it in smaller pieces and lowered it they could have done it differently. We resented that they just took for granite that they could just use our property as they chose. They cleaned up what ever they left on our property. They re-seeded the lawn between the two properties where they had torn up the grass a lot. When they left they left things in good order. The price we paid for our work was an acceptable price. It was just the attitude that they could just go ahead and use our property. When we talked to them about it he's said what else did you expect me to do and where else do you expect me to put that tree. When it was all finished they cleaned up and no real damage was left. When you drop a big tree down it is difficult to get it exactly where you want it.

This has to be the best contractor experience that we've had.Chris came out and gave us an initial estimate on the work and we had them out here within a week of the quote. The crew of three men arrived on time and immediately got to work. Chris did a walk around the property once more to make sure that he didn't miss anything. We were very worried about birds' nests and other animals that might be in the trees but were completely reassured when Chris very carefully moved a birdhouse and rehung it nearby safely out of the way. The birds found it again almost immediately.First they started on the largest silver maple which was by the driveway near the house. They carefully took down the branches, even making sure that none fell into our gardens. Once all of the branches were removed and shredded in the giant mulcher they carefully took down a section of fence to get to the trees in the backyard.They did the same with the next silver maple, carefully removing the branches and putting them through the shredder. Once the tree was down to the massive major trunk they felled it in sections and then did the same with the first tree. The trunks were about 3' across each. They cut the large pieces up into 18" for firewood.All four trees had been very badly topped many years prior and were in rough shape. The crew worked on the two remaining silver maples, thinning them up removing all of the dead wood, trimming up the branches into the trees' natural shape and cleaning up each branch as it was removed. At one point we requested to keep the remaining wood chips for the garden and the crew was very accommodating. We have a beautiful mound of woodchips for the yard.The mimosa tree was mostly dead so they took that down very quickly and shredded almost the entire thing. They ground the stump down and you'd never know it was there.They removed a brush pile and generally cleaned up the property. Once everything had been trimmed up and removed they replaced the fence, cleaned up the yard, raked up the debris, and swept off the driveway.Chris did another inspection and by the early afternoon everything was completely finished. It was amazing.

Ichabod's showed up when they said they would. They performed the scope of their work professionally and well. The workers were courteous and friendly, and took care not to harm my gardens and statuary. When they were done they cleaned up as well as possible. I will have them back in the fall to finish.

The owner Chris, came to give us an estimate the day we called. Price was excellent. ( Compared to previous work by another company.) Gave us great cost savings suggestions. Work completed 5 days later. ( Had to wait more than 6 weeks by previous company). Beautiful job. Left property immaculate. Would highly recommend. Have referred them to many of our friends and neighbors.

Icahob's Tree Service characterized technical and ethical standards of a profession company. They exhibitied courteous, conscientious and safety in a business like manner.

Overall, they went above and beyond our expectations. We were extremely satisfied with this company and would highly recommend. The professionalism of this company was outstanding. No request was too large for them.

After I called to request an estimate, Mr. Partenza emailed the estimate to me. He gave me prices for both topping our trees and for trimming, because I wasn't sure which service I wanted. He spent a lot of time explaining to me the difference between topping and trimming, and advised against topping because it would shorten the life of the tree. Once we agreed to the estimate for trimming both trees, the work was done within two days. He left the yard cleaner than it was before they arrived, and the trees looked great afterwords. The fact that the spruce trim was less than estimated was icing on the cake.

He was very busy but called and said he'd get there when he could. We originally thought one tree was dying, but he informed us that all we needed to do was remove some of the dead limbs. When topping off the pine tree, he was very careful as he had to remove it over the house. The price was fair, I thought I might not be here when he did it and he said I could just mail payment to him. He didn't just want the check first.

Ichabod's Tree Experts removed four very large pine tree from a yard of a home we're presently renovating. To say they did a good job would be an understatement. Not only did they complete the work promptly, but, the clean-up was amazing. I'd recommend Ichabod's Tree Experts (Chris Partenza's -owner) any day, as a friendly, reliable and very reasonably priced company.
