Description of Work: Work has not been performed as yet because of weather delays, family illness and difficulty locating fabric. Those problems have been resolved but provider is out of the country until tomorrow. Expect to reestablish communications and resume progress within days. Will submit completed form when work is accomplished.

Description of Work: Mr. Delgado repaired and sealed the finish (veneer) on a large, 200-year-old British sideboard that I grew up with and cherish. I wish my Mother could see it, it's beautiful and hasn't looked this shiny and many years. More important, the sideboard is better protected. Mr. Delgado cares about true antiques and knows how to preserve them.

Description of Work: Wilson is not your run of the mill furniture refinisher, he is an artist. I've already signed him up for another job. I recommend him and his work enthusiastically.

Description of Work: The top of my 40 year old coffee table which is 3' x 3'. The top was scratched and discolored. It was restored to it's original state. The job was awesome! I am very pleased with Metropolitan Restoration.

Description of Work: He took away a dining chair that needed to be re-glued and touched up, and a piece of my piano that had a water mark from a wet glass that needed to be fixed. The jobs are beautiful, but it took MONTHS to get the pieces back to me. It turned out that he had had a health problem, but he never let me know about it until I got worried about the pieces and called to track them down. After I called, it still took another month to get the pieces back. He was a nice guy, and the price was fair, but I'm not sure I would use him again.

Description of Work: Refurbished a small antique desk. The work was excellent and really brought the piece to life. He was terrible at keeping us informed or responding to calls. He did have an illness in his family at the time but his business did not provide support for him. The work took a long time though I was not pressing him for closure.
