Long story short I have used Ken Tay’s services for over 10 years. It was shocking and difficult for me to accept that he lied to me and my wife. A valve he installed in my home was faulty and flooded my basement. He removed the valve and my pipe and told me the pipe had burst. I had a video of the valve spraying water before he arrived. The piece of pipe he gave my wife did not appear to be the same pipe that was in my wall. I brought in a second plumber who removed a piece of the pipe in my home and compared it to the pipe Mr. Tay left with us. The second plumber says that the pipe Mr. Tay gave to us and said had burst, is not the same type of pipe that is in my home. They are different types and thicknesses of copper. This correlates with the before and after videos and pictures I have of the pipe and valve. When I have shown Mr. Tay the videos and pictures and the differences in the copper pipes, he has become defensive and is refusing to discuss it. I will no longer be using his services.

Everything went well. Requested work was completed and was done very well.

He is good. He is exceptionally reliable and honest. He is from Korea. He has a little trouble with English, but he gets the idea across. We have had several jobs done by him, such as replacing faucets and one time we had a problem with a leak from upstairs and he worked on that. We have used him a number of times and he is top notch. He is very thorough and itemizes everything. He is excellent.

They came out the same day and they came early, I just called them that morning.

It wasn't an emergency we got more than one toilets in this house but they were close by I was really hoping they would come  out right away cause I hate having something like that hanging and they did it they came  out the same day.

Mr. Tay was very responsive and knowledgeable.  He takes the time to explain the issue and how he is going to resolve it.  He also was willing to answer other non-emergency questions I had.  I then had some follow up issues and he kindly came back to my house to look at the problem and explain how to resolve again. 

Ken Tay, the co-owner came by with in 2 hours of the urgent call.  He cut a large hole in the ceiling and did the repairs in 2 hours.
It is a bit pricey but emergency services can be.

During the course of some other repairs, we noted some water in a wall - never a good sign.  I called PDG on what tuned out to be the coldest day in a century and they came by 3 hours later to examine the problem and provide an estimate, right on time.  Ken found a crack in the pipe and after consulting with his office found his Saturday was booked and agreed to come back that evening to make the repair (after gathering the needed parts).  Even though it was almost 7:00 pm and he had yet another job to get to, he took time to explain how the original pipe was assembled and how that lead to its failure and how his work was different (and to code).  As a person, he was extremely polite (as was his assistant).  They also cleaned up well before leaving.  The only limitation is he does not patch the walls he has to open, but he will refer another company to you to do so if you need one.  You never want a cracked pipe, but if you get one, Ken should be on the short list of plumbers to call.

Mr. Tay is extremely polite, professional, punctual, respectful, knowledgeable, pleasant, and honest.
He explained each step of of the work, started the job exactly on time, and finished exactly on time. An emergency repair had been done by another company, a large well known company. They charged us more than $400, but didn't do the repair properly. Mr. Tay corrected their shoddy work, and didn't charge us extra to do so.
In this time of greed and false promises, Mr. Tay stands out as an excellent example of old time fairness and dependability. He knows his stuff, and he helps you to understand how the equipment works. His character and experience shows in everything he does. He's available when you need to talk with him, and he gives you all the time you need to ask questions.
I recommend Mr. Tay in the highest possible terms. We have the utmost confidence in him, and feel lucky that we found him through Angie's List.

Ken came out and he was very knowledgeable of what he was doing. He did have the right equipment on the truck and he was able to take care of it in a quick time. He ran a little late. He almost didn't get in but he made up for it with his kindness and personality.

Very pleased with the meticulous work performed by Khin, the owner of PDG Plumbing. The job turned into a lot more than expected. Some of the parts that I had ordered from a major company were not the correct parts and Khin had to spend a good deal of time improvising and using his own parts to finish the job. The result was very impressive, including the careful cleanup and checking all the work before he left.
This is not the first time I have used PDG and have always been impressed with the careful work done by Khin and his very polite and professional manner.

The plumber, Mr. Khin Tay, arrived to my home on time, and begin to assess the problem that I had hired him to fix. My basement bathroom had flooded, and I needed him to remove the standing water, and to clear the pipe where the flood had occurred. Before he began to perform the work, Mr. Khin Tay explained to me what needed to be done, and how much it would cost to perform the work. Upon fixing the problem with the pipe, he discovered that tree roots had invaded the pipe and he used a high powered snake drill to grind up the roots and clear the pipe. After clearing the standing water, treating the pipe, he then cleaned up the floor and surrounding area that had been affected by the flood. Throughout the entire service, Mr. Khin Tay was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He has serviced my home on several occasions over the years for different projects, and we have always received the highest quality service from him. We highly recommend his plumbing services.

The last job was especially difficult due to errors made by those who had installed the shower about 5 years ago. He stuck with it and solved the problem, even though I think many others would have just told us we needed to get someone to break, rebuild, and retile the wall.

I have owned a house to live in somewhere in the country for 34 years, and Ken is really the best plumber in all the rating respects above that I have dealt with. Not only is Ken a nice guy to deal with, but he is competent and thorough. He has a service oriented attitude that is rare, and that motivated me to go back to write this review. His prices are fair. He is trustworthy.

Excellent. He showed me what the problem was, how he was going to fix it, and how much it would cost. Then after the work was completed, he tested it with me and showed me the old part(s) that created the problem.

I have never had a bad experience with Khin.
