The two workers were hard at work in the crawl space of my home for 2 days. I'm very satisfied with their work and appreciate the support Dan Hope provided to ensure the results of the work.

I hired this company to spray-foam insulate a laundry room and wall of a family room. I can hardly express how poorly the job was done. The crew did not come with the right equipment and had to go to Home Depot to buy the spray foam. Then, they failed to fill the bays between the studs more than 1/8-1/4 of an inch (the contract called for). They used *fire foam* meant to fill cracks in half of the bays, and failed to insulate the ceiling, which was part of the contract. These are just a few of the many items in the contract that were done poorly or not done at all. I strongly recommend you NOT use this company.

The team was professional, worked quickly, and the install went smoothly. The only negative, which may not affect everyone, is when they went to open the knee walls to install the insulation. They did not cover any of my furniture or personal items. I have now spent the last week trying to clean all the dry wall dust off of and inside my electronics, clothes, walls, etc. This has truly been a nightmare. Additionally, the salesman said they would replace the drywall, tape and mud the seams, and I would only need to paint. Not totally true. One coat of mud is not sufficient and it's wet when they leave so they didn't sand it. A minimum of two coats with sanding in between and at the end is required which means I would have had to buy the supplies and do this myself or hire someone (63 yr old female and I had the supplies from a previous job and know how but didn't plan on it or want to). I'm more than two weeks later and still trying to finish this task between working and cleaning drywall dust. All other debris and materials were cleaned up to my full satisfaction. I would hire this company again and I do recommend them but make sure you yourself cover everything within range of falling dust and know the "only have to paint" is far from the truth. Good job otherwise and looking forward to the summer heat to test this investment.

They were unorganized, Appointment was for 8 am , called me at 8:15 am that day to tell me their schedule had changed and they would not be there until 12. No previous call was made to me to let me know of the change. Still did not arrive until 12:35. Only took $100.00 off the job for all the inconvenience Workers were good and neat, my problem was with the office and sales staff

The owner, Dan, is a very personable person who makes it a point getting the job done right. Jon was a excellent sales person, he listens to the demand and then ensures execution at a reasonable price. Both individuals return calls quickly. Then let's not forget to compliment the workers on site who ensure meeting customers demand and following through when needed. A shoot out to Chuck and Ryan for job well done. A happy customer.

Extremely negative experience. Sorry for the long post. Quick summary- They did poor work, failed to fix their mistakes, and I am now left with a deficient end product that I must now repair myself. Buyer beware. I just purchased a home that my family has not yet moved into. I hired Dr. Energy Saver to install a combination of closed cell spray foam and batt insulation in the living room ceiling as well as underneath an enclosed porch. Full disclosure, I am an architect and observe construction as part of my job. I understand the importance of installing spray foam correctly to achieve an air barrier and prevent condensation. The salesman and receptionist were pleasant and agreeable to talk to-- no problem there. Once installation was complete and I inspected the work, I noticed how poor a job it was. Overspray was not cleaned off of the walls. incorrect and lower R-value batts were used, R-13 and R-15 instead of R-21. The amount of spray foam applied was approximately 1" - 2" thick, although I paid for 3". No measuring pins were installed. The rim joists were left bare. To make matters worse, there were many locations that were almost bare with a dusting of spray foam applied. I alerted Dan to the issues I found and he was apologetic and said the problems would be fixed. A crew came back to the house a few days later. I received a call from Gwen telling me the project was finished and all issues were addressed. I mistakenly gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid them for their efforts. Much to my dismay, when I did inspect the work it was still incorrect. The fiberglass batts were replaced with the correct R-value batts, but otherwise the spray foam issues were still evident. I have proceeded to pull all the batts out of the ceiling to have a better look and needless to say the spray foam is thin throughout. In fact, under the porch there are large zones between joists of up to 12 sq in that are almost bare! They have essentially left me with gaping holes below the floor where air can freely rush in and out! I now have a ceiling and floor that have been partially insulated with spray foam akin to a leaky boat hull with holes throughout. This is not how spray foam works. It must be continuous and meet the minimum depths throughout to create an air barrier and effectively insulate the house. I alerted the company to the deficiencies and have waited for a response, but have been met with silence. Because we are moving into the house shortly and I cannot afford to pay for this exercise twice, I am now installing more spray foam myself. I am livid.

Excellent customer service, both in person and on the phone. Pleasant to talk to. Learned a ton from the consultation alone. Took their time and worked with us to determine the best solutions. Found Dr. Energy Saver to be thorough, reputable, and striving for customer satisfaction. There was a small area we requested redone and they never hesitated to make it right. Would give 5 stars but it is a little pricey and we haven't had enough time/seasons to evaluate the energy cost savings on the heating and AC systems yet. Either way we feel like we did the right thing for our home.

This company did a great job with installing insulation in my attic. While their quote was higher than others, the person who came to give me the quote was very thorough. Also, I was offered a chance to pay for the work over time, which I really appreciated. However, I also contracted with them to install a new light/fan in one of my bathrooms. Instead of sending an electrician, as promised (and priced), the owner of the company came and installed it. In doing so, he damaged a light plug in another bathroom. But he was very responsive and later sent an electrician, who took care of everything. Everyone in the firm was very professional and courteous.

I was extremely impressed with the Company and their knowledge of energy efficiency. I was given a very well detail explanation of what they offered as fast as insulation for my attic. The salesman was well versed in the companies product. A bow in/out test was performed which also helped to come to the conclusion that my attic was not sealed properly along with the fact that the insulation needed to be replaced. A price was discussed and I was very happy with the price for the work that needed to be done which resulted in me hiring them. In conclusion, the work was performed to great standards and the staff was very professional. My floors and the area that was continuously walked through was covered and draped to prevent damage and excessive dirt and the job was completed within a couple of hours. I am very satisfied and recommend this company.

The company did a great job on customer service and the soundproofing my ceiling from the unit upstairs, which is what I hired them to do, but they told me that they would also patch up the holes in the ceiling and all I had to do was paint. This was not the case. We spent an entire day after sanding the ceiling and touching up the wallboard compound because they were sloppy. They also didn't properly assess the amount of time it would take to complete the job. It was a two day job not one. They also created a hole in my nice hardwood floors. I recently bought the place and one of things that attracted me to this home was the original hardwood floors which were in excellent condition when I bought it. Overall, I'm happy with the soundproofing but you have to watch them and stay on their case, especially when applying the wallboard compound and make sure they don't drop anything on your nice hardwood floors.

I am writing this to protect anyone who is looking into hiring this company. I do not know who wrote any positive reviews in the past about this company. I looked up sound proofing companies and was referred to them from an online service. Mike was the companies Representative who came out to do the estimates. He took a deposit and I was told that the sound issue that I had would be fixed and I was given a start date. A secretary called me and told me that the company had to let one of the crews go..."Fired" is how I interpreted that and I was asked to move my date. I agreed because I really needed the work done. The crew came out on Saturday and after a couple hours of work the foreman informed me that they did not have all the material needed to complete the job. I was curious how would you come to a job and not have the necessary materials to do the job. The Foreman told me that he needs to reload and that they will be back. I never seen or heard from them again that day. They lied and could not be reached. I exhausted all efforts trying to get a hold of the manager. Dan the owner called me back later on that evening to tell me that the crew will not be back. I lost an entire Day waiting on them to return. The owner arrived at my house the following day and we both waited for the crew who over slept and arrived late. After they completed the job I paid the following day and I still have the same issue. Long story short......I would HIGHLY recommend that you do not USE this company! They are UNPROFESSIONAL and a complete waste of time!
