Dan was very knowledgeable and resourceful towards helping me create a feasible solution towards sealing out the heat and cold air from my house addition's tight crawl space. His crew are consist of good guys who are eager to satisfy the customer by providing solid, quality work in a short time (2-3 hours).

I had blown-in insulation added to my batt insulation. The Dr Energy sales Rep was very informative in explaining the benefits of blown-in vs batt insulation. The installation crew arrived on time and were very respectful and courteous. They were careful to protect/cover areas that might be exposed to debris and were very thorough in clean up. The crew was professional and informative. I was not able to inspect their work as it was in the attic but I'm confident they did an excellent job based on their thorough job preparation and set up. I highly recommend them. Thank you for a job well done.

I had a complicated sound issue: lots of squeaks and noise and vibrations from above in an old condo. With tons of conferences and views of the interior they made a plan. They came back to tweak the project until the owner, Dan, was satisfied. Chase and Zac did an amazing job of fixing these issues, plus they did some lovely remodeling as well. They are extremely trustworthy and I felt confident leaving them to do their work. They are all perfectionists there and very nice people as well.

Having a personal background in the construction trade, there were a lot of issues and concerns with the initial install: spray foam was not applied properly; ran out of spray foam product only 1/3 of the way through the project and switched to can foam without asking me nor was can foam adequate to properly cover the large problem areas; I was pressured to switch to a different product in the middle of the install; silver glow foam board was installed incorrectly elsewhere on the project; etc. I had to call the company office and request that all work be stopped until I spoke with the owner. A one-day project sat idle for approximately two weeks and I had to spend my personal money and time covering the opened ceiling with plastic so that humid outside air didn't overwhelm my finished and unfinished basement areas. The company owner and crew met me for a second appointment, showed genuine attentiveness over my concerns and gave assurances that everything would be properly fixed, redone and completed that day. They also performed some extra floor joist insulation for free in another problem area that not on the initial estimate. Much appreciated but the initial issues were very stressful to deal with thus the 2-star review rating.

The crew was very knowledgeable and they completed my job on time and as expected. This was the only company that listened to what I wanted which was storage space in the attic and the insulation that was required to make the house more energy efficient.

I was very impressed with the entire crew that came out and removed my old insulation and installed new insulation. The entire process from getting someone to come out and give an estimate to the cleanup after the job was done was very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Energy for insulation needs.

They sealed 12 cathedral ceiling recessed lights and then blew in cellulose insulation through a gable entrance. Very thorough and cleaned up well. Great professional team of 4 people!

We were looking for someone to replace some rotted wood trim on our home. Home Advisor suggested Dr. Energy Saver and one other contractor. Dr. Energy Saver was quick to contact us and we made an appointment for an estimate. When the owner, Dan, arrived he was very thorough and gave us not only an estimate to replace the wood, but to also cap all the trim with vinyl. We never heard from the other suggested contractor. We had a lot of trim on our house and was surprised that it only took one day to replace the wood and cap all the trim. That's how good the team was that did the job. They were very efficient and knew what they were doing. We have received many compliments on the way this has improved our home's appearance. One neighbor stopped by to request the name of the company who did the job. Needless to say we are very pleased and no more painting!

These are nice people who mean well and do competent work. But they are ill-equipped and over subscribed to meet the obligations they make. They could not complete my insulation job, I'm sad to say.

My husband and I first met the owner. He was extremely knowledgable and honest. We appreciated him coming out himself. His quote blew the competition away. The day came to do the work, and his ambassadors were just as knowledgable. They stopped only to eat. We are very pleased.

Very punctual and professional. Took time to walk around the house to identify any deficient areas. Was willing to negotiate a reasonable price point. Would definitely recommend!!!

Excellent experience. I requested bids for spray foam insulation thinking this was what I needed. ANOTHER company came and provided a bid for what I asked for. I was told we would have to be out of our home for 24 hours along with our dogs. I explained I have asthma and I had concerns about the impact. No other alternatives were offered. After hearing about the foam insulation, I was ready to scrap the entire project. My second bid appt was with Dr. Energy Saver for a bid. I'm so happy I did not cancel my appt. He explained the pros and cons of what I had asked for, and with my asthma he did not advise it. He also did an energy audit, as I walked through my house with Dan, he explained things to me. After, we sat down and he explained why my electric bill was $900 last January and what could be done. I was very happy with the work crew, Skip, Ray and Allen. Very respective of my house, and just nice men. Of course, winter has not arrived yet, so that will be the true test. Understanding what needed to be done and why, I have full confidence with the predicted harsh winter ahead that we will notice a real difference.

Awesome is the word to describe this service. Arrived on time, very pleasant, showed care to my home with their equipment. They took the time to make sure the work was done properly and ensured that all crevices was insulated. Highly recommend this company.

Actually they put more insulation in my attic and insulated all my recessed lighting. I can already tell a difference in how toasty the house feels and the heat has run very little. Professional and polite, punctual also.

Arrived on time even with the threat of snow and completed the project in a timely manor
