Dave and his guys were very punctual, professional, and friendly. They worked with us on finding the best solutions on where to put vents and the return (aesthetically and based on what would be best for the system to operate), and were very good about communicating when they ran into issues that required them to move vents to a new location.. Considering the amount of dust created by a project like this, they did a very good job of cleaning up each day before leaving. They showed up before 8am every day (in most cases, by 7:30) and wrapped up the entire job in the promised five days. They do not patch up holes, but were also clear about that from the start so we knew we would be bringing someone in after to box in exposed vents and to do proper patch/drywall work after. Overall we are very happy with the work and would definitely recommend them for a project like this.

.I was freaking out because the original HVAC contractor botched the job. These guys were great - came out right away and got things in working order. They were very honest with me about what the previous installer had done correctly and what needed to be addressed.

I have a 1917 row house in DC, and wanted to install A/C that would avoid running huge ducts through the ceilings. I did a little research on Unico, which is the best approach for an old house. I got three estimates from Unico installers on Angieslist and selected ESI both for their knowledge and their approach. I got their and quot;winter specialand quot; by scheduling the work in February. They were the middle of the pack on price, but the low bidder didn't seem credible. The work went very well. The team showed up on time, hoisted the equipment up to my attic through the roof hatch, and cranked through the ductwork install surprisingly quickly. I had others do the drywall work and ESI offered to return afterwards to install the finishing pieces. I've been meaning to get around to writing this for quite some time - my apologies to ESI for being so slow. What prompted me to write was, I had estimates this winter to replace my boiler. Two of the estimators asked to see the Unico system in my attic and both remarked on the quality and innovation of the install. The final product is awesome. My house cools very nicely with almost no visible ductwork at all. I highly recommend ESI for this type of work.

It was nothing to do with the company, we just have an old home and it would be a complicated job. He did a great job. I thought he was really good.

Energy Systems installed my central air condition in 2007. They did great work at the time at a reasonable price (relative to other estimates!). My system has worked flawlessly for 6 years with limited homeowner maintenance (changhing the air filter). The air handler is in the attic and the condensation water is pumped to the roof. In early June, the plumbing for the condensation water had a small leak. After calling Energy Systems, they were able to come the next day and fixed the leak and conducted an overall check of the system in under an hour. This

We got three quotes on our service and they had not only the best quote but also seemed the most knowledgable about how to install the system in an old house. The team were on time, polite and got the job done! They installed the high velocity air into 3 floors of our row house on Capitol Hill. They said it would take 5 days and on the 5th day they were done. They did a good job trying to keep the dust down and worked with us when a couple of minor issues arose (as you would expect with an old row house). Very professional. Really pleased with the system and service! I would highly recommend them.

ESI actually clean up after a day's work. That is the first thing I noticed upon arriving home - they had actually left the place in better condition than how we had left it. They are truly professional in every way - from the initial visit, taking 30 minutes to walk around and measure, talking us through each step of the procedure, where they would put the vents and the return and everything else... They really do a thorough job from start to finish. Every day they arrived on time, were courteous, easy to talk to, and well-informed. They also offer off-season discounts, paying with a check discounts, and you can use a Nest instead of the standard thermostat. I highly suggest their services.

They did good work, but overcharged for the work. Way too expensive.

I was very pleased with the installation and quality of work. I had several estimates for installing a high-velocity air conditioning system. Many companies told me that it couldn't be done due to the unusual layout of my home. Energy Systems specializes in these types of air-conditioning systems, so they were able to do it at a very reasonable price.

I have been a customer for a long time. Whenever I have a problem they do their best to get to me as soon as possible.

David came and did the check-up. He explained everything he did and the area was clean when he finished the work. He is nice and is very professional. I have used this company before and they do excellent work.

I had a crew finishing the framing for a basement living area, and we realized at the last minute I could gain a lot of ceiling height if we could move about 16 feet of CAC duct over a few feet. Dave Stich came out literally with a few hours' notice, gave me an estimate that I found reasonable, and two days later did the job, so that the framing crew didn't have to wait around to build the ceiling bulkhead and framing surrrounding it. The company was fast, professional and did a great job. Highly recommend.

They were quick and clean and they did a fantastic job. They were very efficient.

The installation went smoothly. They always cleaned up before the went left. There was a problem with the installation that didn't manifest itself until after the system was turned on. But they responded to it promptly and we were satisfied in the end.

The price of the installation was reasonable. They did a very professional job and cleaned up afterwards. They came when they said they were going to. When I called with an emergency, they were there for the next day.

I thought the price was a bit high, but in all fairness, didn't have much to compare it to. Aside from that, they did a great job installing the system and were very friendly and professional. One of their workmen failed to properly reconnect our dishwasher which caused a leak that damaged our hardwood floor, but Dave took care of that and had the floor repaired quickly and to our satisfaction. The UNICO AC system works GREAT and was a lifesaver this past summer. (I don't know how the previous owners endured the summers here without it!!!) Based on my experience, this is an honest and forthright company. I'd refer them to my friends and family. Oh yeah, I forgot...when we had a problem with our AC unit, Dave stopped by and diagnosed and fixed it and didn't charge me anything for the call since it was a quick fix.

I don't remember the exact price. I thought that their price was a little bit higher but not too unreasonable had it worked out like it was supposed to. I did not like them because they did not do a good job. They did not size the system properly and they did not put enough supply vents. So, the system that they installed did not perform as I had expected it to. I let them know that I was not satisfied with their service. They were responsive in the beginning but they are not responsive now.

They always do a good job. They are also very reasonable.

well except they forgot to start and check a pump that takes the overflow from the humidifier. Not a problem as I rerouted the hose to the sump pump

everything was checked over and left in good working condition......Dave is accommodating, knowledgeable, and very professional.....I have been using this company for the 3 years......

On-time, reasonable, professional, trustworthy-- who could ask for anything more?
