Remedy Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

It went very well. Rema was on time and very personable. I thought I might have to break concrete to fix the pipe. He can in looked at it and told me he would do everything he could to not do that. He was able to do it. He made what could have been a 2000.00 job into a 300.00 job. I would/will defiantly hire him again.

Outstanding. Showed up within 45 minutes and quickly fixed the issue of a clogged basement drain.

Immediate call back upon request for quote, Rosiam arrived within 30 minutes and was able to snake out the problem quickly and neatly. Overall cost was $325, maybe a little high but his speed, professionalism, and pleasantness in dealing with us made it feel worthwhile to me.

Mr. Rema arrived on time Sunday morning to update my water heater. He installed an expansion tank, duct work and replacing the piping to the thermostat on the water heater. He did an excellent job and took his time. Mr. Rema also went to the local hardware store twice to pick up the material that was needed. The only reason I didn't give him an A was because he quoted me a price at the beginning and then went done on the price and then tried to go back up to the original quoted price. After talking with him he decided to keep the price at the lower amount that he quoted.

My Remedy Plumber arrived on time and didn’t really charge me for his service because he stated what he needed to do may not fix my problem because I needed a new faucet which he did not have. Water was running from both the tub’s faucet and the shower head. After pulling off the faucet and making a minor adjustment to a washer within the faucet the problem was "temporary" fixed, the washer was damaged. He stated that a new faucet was needed and that I could call back to have that installed. I thanked him, gave him a small thank you gift, and he was on his way. I was thankful that this plumber had "integrity" and did not try to overcharge me for work that did not fix my problem. I would surly hire this company again!!

He did an excellent job and snaked it all the way out to the street which other plumbers didn't. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and I would highly recommend them.

He was able to come the same day I called and was available after work hours for no extra charge. He was by far the lowest quote I received. He arrived within his one hour window and was very nice and polite and fixed my problem very quickly. Will be sure to use him again in the future.

Everything went very well. Rema was very professional, prompt, and efficient. The underground drain was blocked with debris. Rema removed part of the gutter pipe and inserted a snake to clear the drain. The underground pipe was cleared and I saw water dispensing onto the street, along with the debris that was blocking the pipe. The snake was withdrawn, the gutter pipe was repaired, and Rema was on his way. I was informed of the processed from beginning to end. Problem resolved!!

Very professional and punctual . Took extra tile to make sure it was done correctly . Charges a reasonable flat rate . Many other charge for every 15 minutes. He does not. Highly recommend !!!

Very well; the garbage disposal that was already installed was a bit unusual of a configuration, so he had to do some extra work. If not for that, the total cost would have been even less. (And, after getting a couple of other quotes just for the garbage disposal, not including the necessary modifications, his total price was still a bit less.)

They were prompt and professional. They explained all my product options and gave me a quote over the phone which I appreciated. Other firms were not as forthcoming. I was very pleased and would use them again.

Toilet was removed and when he worked on snaking the pipe in, a floor below -in my kitchen -Iwas literally under water with all kinds of dirt. I have expensive wooden flooring with expensive rugs and when I came down I was livid. He kept saying it was not his fault. When you are a plumber you need to be aware of what could happen once you work. Sure he came on time but the work- I have not idea how it was done. the toilet works now but during that process I was furious, absolutely furious. He did not realize that I have a well kept house with good flooring and such and nothing was really taken into consideration. He then gave me a discount over the amount that was too expensive to begin with. I was to pay $579, and I paid 429 or something like that. He did not even give me a receipt and because I was so upset, I did not realize it. This contractor needs to learn how to perform plumbing correctly. Absolutely the most horrific experience I have ever had. I am an architect and used to dealing with contractors but this guy beat everything. He kept asking me to help him, give me this give me that. I told him I am not your helper, you should have brought someone with you. Well, do not, do not even try to use him. He is the worst I have ever seen in a contractor, absolutely terrible. I will have another plumber check what was done to prevent further damage. It took me over 2 1/2 hours to clean up my kitchen trying to prevent damage to my flooring. Horrible.

Prompt, courteous and competent. Also, reasonably priced and since he was unable to unblock the drain because the underground clay pipes had collapsed he charged me less!

It went perfect. I had a kitchen sink clog. After trying to clear it for 2 days gave up and decided to call a plumber. Mr. Rema was fast, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. I put in my request and I got a call immediately. He was at my house within 30 minutes. He did a thorough inspection, asked me about the history of the problem, and offered a very very reasonable price quote. I accepted his quote and Mr. Rema did the work on the spot. I will use him again. Interesting part of the story is that Mr. Rema installed our garbage disposal about four years ago when he worked with another company. He was fantastic then (the disposal works perfectly) and he is fantastic now. I am glad we reconnected and I will use him for future pluming repairs.

The company responded quickly, spent a few minutes looking at our plumbing lines and checking other drains, and snaked out our line. Once he was certain the line was open he checked the faucet connections, tightened them and looked for leaks.

Prompt, friendly yet professional service. Great pricing. I am so pleased that I plan to hire his services to replace my kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Plan to use this company for all of my plumbing needs.

It went well. I made the appointment around 9 am and Rema arrived about 1:10 pm. Rema and his helper arrived looked over the situation,gathered their equipment, and proceeded to snake the drain. It was a quick fix, but a bit messy. They cleaned up everything! Great job! Thanks!

On 05/26/18, during the 9.5 inch rain fall in Catonsville, MD, one of my pumps check valve broke, ejecting water across my basement . The pump was pumping continuously (waves were in my driveway.) We couldn't turn the sump off because of the amount of rain. I went on Annie's list and put out my request. Remedy called within 15 minutes and although had another call, was at my house within the hour and within 45 minutes was at my house and quickly had the valve replaced. This was at 10 pm on a holiday weekend. I am not rating his fee in consideration that it was an emergency call. I will utilize him again- he saved my basement!

Excellent. He called me without 1 minute of searching on angie’s List and showed up at my house that day (on Memorial Day weekend nonetheless). The problem was fixed instantly. Pleasure to work with definitely recommended!

I called this morning about 10:30 or so. He said he could get to me by 4 or so this afternoon. Water in stairwell above doorsill when he got here (before 4).. He got right to work and cleared out the clog very quickly. Made sure water was draining without a hitch. That same stairwell had flooded 8 months ago.

Woke to realize that our sump pump failed during the night and water was quickly accumulating from the ongoing rain. Rema was the first to respond to my HomeAdvisor message. He was at our house with all of the required pieces and parts within the hour and had the sump pump replaced and most of the water drained within another hour. He was quick, courteous, professional and the cost for the repairs very reasonable. He was also helpful in making recommendations on restoration support needed. I highly recommend Rema.
