Very disappointed with the quality of the installation. Specifically, there are many apparent seams lines in the carpet where it was cut and then melded together. I pointed that out to the owner and the installer and was told that it would fade with time. Well six months later, and there are still apparent seam lines. Further the carpet was not melded well at these seam lines and could easily be pulled up. The owner did address some of the concerns. However, I stopped contact after he asked me was if I purposely pulled the carpet up where the seams were not melded well. Um, no, your installers just did a very poor job. Needless to say I was highly offended. I won't even mention how I can feel nails/staples underneath the carpet and strips that crunch when I step on them underneath the carpet in some places. Wasted money as I plan to have the entire job redone this summer.

We were able to get an appointment within a couple days, and Ash came out to our home to give us an estimate. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He gave us his opinion on what he thought would look best, even though his suggestion was cheaper than what we were originally asking for. He told us that he had just purchased some flooring on special and that he thought it would be perfect for us and we could get a great deal. He gave us an estimate, which was $4,000 less than the others we had received. Yes, $4,000 and I'm not exaggerating. Ash said the wood he wanted to show us had not been delivered to his store yet, but that he would call us as soon as it arrived. A couple weeks later he called to say the wood had come in and said that we could either come to the showroom or he would bring a sample to our house. Unfortunately, we decided not to have the floors re-done at this time but it had nothing to do with PriceCo. We thought they were great and are definitely planning on calling them when we are ready to move forward. I highly recommend that you let they come out and give you an estimate after you've talked to some of the big box stores. You will be amazed at the difference.

The flooring was the best part of the service. The contractors arrived on time and worked efficiently. I was surprised at how fast they were able to remove the old flooring and install the wood. They also cleaned up the inside well, although I had to pick up some carpet padding scraps out of the yard the next day. The only issue I had with the flooring is that they left a small part unfinished. To this day it is STILL not done because I don't know how to do it. There is a part of the floor next to the stairs that juts out a bit. They worked around the railing but never put any finishing piece on an approximately 4x6" section of floor. We had to cut a scrap of wood ourselves to fit around the railing so we weren't looking at exposed subfloor. Then we had to try to match quarter round to make a finished edge. It looks terrible and we weren't expecting to have to do any finishing on the floor they installed! The kitchen installation (a few weeks later) went well enough initially. The contractors arrived on time and worked efficiently too. They tore out all of the old cabinets and loaded them up to take away. They were careful with the new cabinets and installed them the same day. One of the cabinets above the stove was not hung properly and was crooked until it fell off. Fortunately we're kind of handy and were able to fix it ourselves. When installing the hardware to the cabinets, the contractors had one cabinet handle that they left dangling by one screw. They had drilled the second hole too high and instead of fixing it they just left the handle there like we wouldn't notice. When I called the owner he came by and ordered a new cabinet door for us ( that was installed properly later.) I'm happy that he was so quick to try to resolve the problem. I also had to call the owner because the contractors didn't clean up any of the sawdust or debris in the cabinets after they were installed. I could have vacuumed it out myself with the Shop Vac but I didn't think I should have to. I felt ridiculous when the owner came in his dress pants and tie and used our paper towels to wipe the sawdust out of the cabinets himself. I told him the work was good enough because it was embarrassing having this well dressed man on his hands and knees cleaning. I suppose I expected the workers to come and clean it up instead. I vacuumed it properly when he left so I could start putting dishes away. Unfortunately we're not too happy with the quality of the cabinets. They get nicks in them very easily and a kick plate started coming off of one less than six months after they were installed. Turns out it's cheap particle board so we may just have to glue it back in place. Also the seam in the granite is very noticeable, which I don't care for. We had to install a board under one set of cabinets and paint it white so the ugly underside of the upper cabinets wasn't showing. It was very distracting and noticeable. The board is only slightly better than what was there. I suppose you get what you pay for, but we weren't really shown a lot of variety or features of other cabinets. That could have been due to the budget we were trying to stick to, but I would have paid extra for cabinets that don't get scratches in them so easily. Lastly we had some problems dealing with the owner regarding the plumbing. He told us that we couldn't install the sink until a plumber came and redid the lines properly. I had no idea we would have to hire our own plumber for this part of the kitchen remodel. No one told us that up front. Our plumber had to come and reroute pipes and add new ones based on the information we were given. That took extra time to coordinate contractors and the plumber and ended up with us waiting many extra days before the kitchen was complete and ready to use. Once the sink bowl was installed the plumber had to come back again because something in the specifications wasn't right. The owner was not very helpful in this process and was rude about our plumber's work, indicating that the problem was the plumber's fault. I still am not sure why we had to take this extra step for a kitchen remodel. Overall the floor looks nice enough and we're happy with it (minus the unfinished part.) In hindsight I wish we hadn't hired this company for the kitchen.

Ash and PriceCo really came through for us. A fire in the warehouse where PriceCo stores its carpets made it look like we would not get our carpet installed on time. But, we got everything done when we needed it to. The wood floors in our 50 + year old house look amazing. The carpet we had installed was different than what we had ordered but it looks great as well. The price was very competitive to other vendors we talked to and the quality and service were top notch.

The salesman Ash was very good a knowledgeable. The installers showed up on time and with all the material. We left them while we went to work. They anticipated that they would be finished by 5:00. They didn't finish till 8:00. Te job was not especially challenging and they worked with us to remove the old fixtures from the bathroom. The guy doing the finish molding was excellent. Don't know why it took 3 hours longer to do than anticipated. Other than the time it was a superior product, good price and competently installed.

I shopped around for carpet at many stores in the area. When I came to PriceCo, Ash took a great deal of time explaining the different types of carpet fibers, the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as the warranty. He gave us personal attention & spent a lot of time working with us to be sure we stayed within our budget and found a carpet that was best for us. No one else did that and their prices were less than other stores. We chose carpet for our living room & bedroom. The installers were courteous and did a great job installing and cleaning up when they were done. We will definitely go to PriceCo when we need more carpet in the future.

Ash was EXCELLENT from the first meeting, through all the decisions, and up to the end of the project, even coming back to check on finished work a week later and when some carpet was pulling out from under the door thresholds that had just been put in. He was patient with us throughout the entire process. We had more than 6 estimates and Ash's was by far the best, plus he was the person we felt most comfortable with and confident about as well. The men that did the flooring were exceptional, worked seriously hard, and were respectful of our belongings as well as ourselves when we were in the house during construction. I have recommended Ash and PriceCo Floors multiple times to people, and I sure hope they have used them. We will be coming back to Ash when we are ready to replace the carpeting in the rest of our home.

When I visited the shop, I wasn't impressed about the store and Ash greeted me. He is very friendly and he assured me that the owner will give me a good price if they come out for an estimate, which Hamit did. He gave me a very good price for a great floor option, which has 50-year warranty. Comparing to another quote we got for a 25-yr floor, his price is $2,000 less. His price included everything: removing carpet, shoe molding, padding, stairs pieces and transitions and of course installation. His Crew came out three days after and finished the job in 2.5 days. We checked the work and there is no squeaks or weird spots. It's beautiful and we got compliments soon after. He told me he only wants to offer the client good wood and sell the wood at competitive price so the client will be happy for years to come. And he is absolutely right. Overall, we're very happy with their service and price and we'll use them again.

AMAZING! From the first phone call with Ash for him to come measure and give an estimate, he was prompt, personable, he educated us about the different wood types, hardwood vs. engineered, etc. I knew almost nothing about wood floors and now I could explain to someone else if I wanted. We then went to the warehouse and picked out a beautiful cherry oak hardwood, I was able to set up the install for within 2 weeks. Ash spent time with us, never seemed rushed or annoyed with our questions. I also like that it is a family owned business. The 2 guys who installed the floors took care when installing the floors. They turned out absolutely beautiful, I wish I could attach a picture. Lastly, they have the best prices around for the same quality product. We went to only 1 other store and that store was much more expensive, probably because they have to pay overhead for their fancy brick and mortar establishment and the many employees this other store had. Bottom line, if you want quality flooring installed at a great price, along with great customer service, use PriceCo. I plan to use them again when we floor our upstairs.

We chose PriceCo floors based on the reviews here on Angie's List. Everything was just as described by other reviewers. Ash was awesome! Super responsive, very helpful, really listened to what we wanted. The pricing was very fair and we love the product. The gentlemen who installed the carpet did a great job - very neat and professional. Overall, a wonderful experience. Plan on using them again to put hardwood floors in our kitchen.

Hamid was very helpful in during the sales process and did a thorough survey of the floors. During the pricing phase, he miscalculated by $500 but came to the house (30 miles) to explain. He offered to waive the additional charge caused by their error. The hardwood floors required the removal of slate in the front hall, and tile and an additional plywood floor in the kitchen. During the demolition, the glass door to the oven was broken. This was deducted from the final payment. The floors were installed professionally with a few minor bumps but they look great. They did a good job of covering and safely moving the furniture that we couldn't relocate to the garage. The carpeting was also done professionally but they forgot to nail down floor creaks before laying the carpet. The hardwood floor crew did get this right but there are some creaky boards under the carpets. It was easy to do business with Hamid and his crews, and his price was good.

He Did GREAT!!!!!!! I got 3 est and he was by for the best price by over $2000.00. He went out of his way to show us pleanty of options to help keep cost down. His men were hard working and professional and fast as he promised. I cant say enough about PriceCo Floors, Inc. I have delt with many companys while i rehabed my home and I was ready too scream because of people being so unprofessional and sloppy at their craft. True professionals!!!!! Thanks ASH.

Everything was excellent from beginning to end. Communication was very timely & efficient from the initial contact to the installation. Ash came to the home well prepared with carpet samples that were exactly what we were looking for and within our budget. He was prepared so we had the measurements, carpet selection, and installation date set on the first visit. We were very happy to hear that the removal of the old carpet was not an extra charge nor were we charged for the measure, a very nice surprise. The install team was efficient and moved quickly within hours the team was done without any evidence that they were there - just beautiful carpet - no drywall damage, dings or scrapes on the walls - which was again a nice surprise. Thanks for a great experience! I look forward to working with PriceCo Floors again in the near future.

Ash was great to work with. He beat the competitors' prices by a mile and the work performed by his guys was top notch. His guys were polite, punctual, and explained everything to me in detail. The floors look great and I'm so glad I chose them to work with and in the future, I will definitely call them again.

Ash and his team at PriceCo Floors did a fantastic job updating my new home. I knew going into this remodeling project that I had a lot of work that I wanted to have completed and I was hoping I would be able to find a local business that was able to be a "one-stop shop." That is exactly what I found when I came onto Angie's List and discovered PriceCo Floors. My instincts were confirmed when Ash came out to my home with samples and ideas of his own to help create the image I had in my head. He was incredibly patient with me as I reviewed different designs, styles and colors of hardwood and carpet. The installation process went well considering all the different things that were being done around the same time and Ash was always just a phone call away. Overall, the entire process went very well and I am happy with the finished product!

The flooring turned out beautifully. The installers were very conscientious and I am very pleased with their work. My sales person Ash has been extremely responsive to my e-mails and requests. I asked for an additional piece of toe molding because I changed out a vanity in the bathroom (smaller) and he immediately responded to my request. The price was great - less than other estimates I had received and they provided interest free financing. I am very happy with the service and the product and would definitely use them again.

PriceCo Floors Inc installed two different finishes and flooring that didn't match between the first and second floors because they were distinctly different. They admitted they made the mistake and agreed to install new flooring in one area if we were able to find that flooring because they said it was discontinued. They agreed to install that floor or provide a refund of $1,700. We located the flooring and then they refused to install it because they said it was too expensive to purchase but instead offered us only a refund of $1,700. One of the representatives had agreed they made a mistake in our dining room and agreed to correct it but then the father came who refused to admit a mistake had been made. He said it was not a mistake. So with two representatives, PriceCo Floors Inc, gave us two different answers. We consider that they negotiated in bad faith because they retracted their offer to install new flooring after they had made the commitment. We have filed a complaint with the state of Maryland Bureau of Consumer Affairs. We are waiting to work through that process.

The crew arrived as promised and on time. They worked extremely hard and even dealt with a rainstorm impacting their progress. They completed all rooms in two days and completely transformed the look of my home. They disposed of all old flooring and left all remaining hardwood in case needed. Both the sales and installation process were exceptional. Kudos to Hamid and Ash for their professionalism and customer service.

The experience was very good. I called them, they scheduled my appointment the same day for the coming Saturday. They arrived on Saturday when they said they would, they answered all of questions. I chose my items and scheduled the install. My installation date was 6/29/13. They arrived on time, moved furniture, installed the items, cleaned up and replaced the furniture within 6 hours. The job was fast, however its a quality job. I took a while to review to see if there would be any issues and there are none to date 7/23/13.

We live out of state and our house was in the process of being sold. Ash understood this and said that he had worked in these situations before. He took care of everything. This included meeting with the prospective owners, who we gave the opportunity to choose the color, to make sure they understood how their choice would look and that it would cost more money. As a result they changed their mind. The schedule got changed at least twice but in the end he actually got the job done earlier than the original date we had set up with him. Our realtor said they are beautiful. She also asked for his name and number for future use. The price was the best we found and we would absolutely use him again should we move back to the area.

Stopped by the business, looked around. Told them what I was looking for. Owner said he would call around and see if he could find black and white tiles and call me back. He never did. I called him 3x and he finally just said he could not find any manufacturer that made black and white tiles??? Really??? I called around, did a Google search and found multiple places that had black and white tiles. Totally indifferent, did not seem to even want the job.

After a few questions to assure themselves of what I wanted, the two installers went to work and had 525 SF of basement flooring done in 6 hours. That also included installing baseboard trim and shoe molding. The floors are beautifully done. I am very pleased.

Purchased hardwood floor and carpet for family room and study. Ash was wonderful from the beginning, helping us choose the proper products based on type of use and pet wear and tear. Our contractor had to ask Ash to move up the install and Ash moved his schedule around to accommodate us. Carpet factory cut family room carpet too short; Ash quickly reordered the carpet and kept in touch with me a couple of times a day and got it installed the day the new carpet was delivered on the truck, which was only three days later. Very happy with our experience and plan to use Ash again when we recarpet the bedrooms. Ash made the flooring part of our renovation a very good experience. Highly recommend!

These guys did a great job. The new floors they installed look great. I was most impressed by their work restoring the home's original wood floors, which after years of abuse, were faded and stained. Upon buying and moving into the house, we had these guys, as well as a couple of their competitors, come out and do an estimate for us. These guys were the only ones willing to redo the floors; the others recommended we go through the expensive process of ripping out and replacing the floors. They guys got to work and removed the majority of the stains; they really did a beautiful job bringing the floors back to life. We are extremely pleased with the result and appreciate their integrity in not trying to pressure us into spending a lot of money that we didn't have.

I had met with four carpet representatives and found Ash to be one of the best informed and most willing to work with me to find something that met my desires but also fit my budget. He asked me to give him a chance to come back with something he thought would work for us and he came the next morning with the perfect option. He fully explained all the variables with different carpets and pads and we feel he gave us the best quality for the money of all the companies we interviewed. An upgraded pad which was extra with all the other companies was even included in the base price. Scheduling was a breeze as they worked with our crazy schedule, and the installers arrived right on time and did a perfect job. They were very careful of our newly painted walls and even ran our speaker wires where we wanted them under the carpet. The new carpet is beautiful and I hate wearing shoes now because it feels so good on my feet! Ash is a real pro and a great guy.
