Description of Work: tHEY WERE ON TIME AND THE TWO YOUNG MEN WERE VERY PROFESSONIAL, THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE SIGN IN THE FRONT YARD TO ADVERTISE. Description of Work: They removed old gutters and installed new Thompson Creek Gutters. They were clean fast and efficient. The project manager was also present, but did not stay for the entire installation. He seemed like he was there to collect payment. It came to a little over $1,000 for a townhouse. I felt the price was a little steep, but I didn't have time to shop around.

Description of Work: Just sat through a mind-numbing 4 hour estimate for a gutter replacement and a new front door entry system (1 front door, 2 sidelights). The sales person was very nice and professional, however, the Ipad application that was being used was apparently not functioning properly so we were unable to get a good quality presentation of the available doors and side-lights. Upon seeing the 17,000.00 + price tag (after the 30% discount) for the combined gutter and front entry system replacement, we were absolutely shocked! We were dismayed to see the items combined so we had the rep seperate out the front door entry system from the gutter. The front door was about 8000.00! We were hoping to look at some different options for the front door, but we were well into hour 3 and we were exhausted and with the IPad application not behaving properly, this was a very tedious and confusing process. After the sales rep left, we got online to the door company website (Provia) and we were able to design to our hearts content (no pricing was supplied however). I think the Thompson Creek gutters are an excellent quality as are the Provia doors, however, we will be checking with other platinum member installers of the Provia door to compare prices. The gutters will sit on the back burner until we win the lottery.

Description of Work: We are in the midst of a renovation that has escalated. There have been numerous "surprises" in our old house. I am pleased to say that Thompson Creek has been the lone bright spot. They showed up not only on time but early. They replaced a window quickly, effieciently and professionally. We also had them replace our gutters. Their salesman noticed a feature on the gutters that we didn't replace that his competitor didn't. The gutter crew showed up, on time, if not early. There wa a bit of a snag as the fascia on the house was warped and they needed wedges to install the gutter straight. I think the saleman or the person who measured the gutter should have noticed that. It didn't delay the project as it began to rain. The crew suggested they return on Saturday AM to complete the job. When they arrived (on time but not too early), they had the wedges and finsihed the project quickly, efficiently and professionally. Thompson Creek spends a lot of money on advertising and I always wondered how good they were. My answer: they're every bit as good as advertised and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again. Antonio3 is a great crew leader.

Description of Work: Thompson Creek replaced all the gutters and fascia board on our house, rerouting some of the gutters to give a more aesthetic appearance. Their staff was punctual, professional, and responsive to our concerns about keeping the water outflow away from the house. They did a very good job in about 6 hours, making sure to clean up and leave the yard as they found it.

Description of Work: I called Thompson Creek to give me an estimate on replacing the gutters on my house. The salesman insisted that my husband had to also listen to his sales talk, even though my husband was disabled and did not make financial decisions regarding our home. The salesman had to give me his whole sales pitch before he measured for the gutters. His price was high, and I felt pressured to buy that day - but I didn't. I later brought gutters from another company - a comparable gutter system for half the price. I will never deal with Thompson Creek again.

Description of Work: We have a relatively small townhouse and just needed gutters on the front and back. Pros: So far, very pleased with the gutters. Installation was a breeze and the guy who dropped the gutters prior to install noticed that the ones we had chosen were not the best color match for our home, so he arranged to have a better matching set delivered on the install date. The ones that they installed match perfectly. I'm happy to support a local company. Cons: Was not impressed with the aggressive sales pitch or the fact that the price seemed to be pulled out of thin air. Was told that tonight is the last night that this discount is available so sign now. So we signed and then did some research online and figured out that we were probably going to overpay - so we called to cancel the contract the following Monday and lo and behold, they drop $500 from the price over the phone. So we kept the contract. Just be aware that the prices don't seem firm and there seems to be a large margin.
