Cost of materials was a bit higher than what I've seen before but they have a very extensive selection of frames and the salesperson was helpful with giving me options that would keep cost down.

The shop has an extensive choice of frames. Kelly is excellent. She has a wonderful eye and is very helpful. She makes great suggestions and is extremely patient. I will definitely use again.

I ended up with a very inexpensive frame after looking at others in the very expensive range. The inexpensive one suited the painting the best. The finished product was stunning. Chesapeake Framing is my go to place for framing. I have never been disappointed.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out well. It was fine. They did a very good job. They really framed it nicely and I would use them again. I paid additional fees. It was ready when they said it would be. It was well done and the painting looks nice. There was nothing wrong. I've found that framing is always expensive and almost always more than the painting. I don't know how they compare on their pricing.

Took the advice of the framer when the frame was selected. Not sure I like the final product. We probably just have different tastes.

Chesapeake Framing is great. I've used them to frame more than a dozen items now. I've found them to offer the perfect balance between listening to what I already had in mind and offering suggestions when I didn't know exactly what I wanted. They have helped keep the cost down when an item to be framed didn't justify expensive framing (a reproduction poster, for example). They are also convenient for me because they are in my neighborhood. They have always completed the work when they said they would, sometimes sooner.

They did a great job in helping us choose the right frames and mats for each painting, and did a beautiful job in executing the final product. Very pleasant and professional all the way!

One of the paper cutouts (an image made by making cutouts and cuts to one piece of thin paper) was extremely complicated and very delicate. And part of the cutout would not lay flat, even after a few days. Tim called me and told me the issue. He also suggested putting a piece of plexi over the cutout to flatten it (below the matt and glass). I was concerned about the conservation issues of placing plexi directly on the paper. He explained that it shouldn't hurt the print as it was a neutral medium (no offgassing). I work at an art museum and I wanted to consult with our paper conservator before doing this. He was open to it and even welcomed the information I sent him about conservation that our conservator gave me. The print looks great. The entire staff is wonderful and open to discussion. And I would recommend them highly.

I have had several items framed by Chesapeake. Excellent service. The staff helped me choose mats and frames that complemented the prints I was having framed and helped them coordinate with the rest of the room. Always beautiful work! And done on time.

I have used Chesapeake Framing the last time Angie's List had a deal. I found all of the employees to be very knowledgable and helpful. There work is amazing and they are very quick to get the jobs completed. They call me immediately when the work is complete.

I do not know much about framing. I was grateful that the staff at Chesapeake Framing guided me through the process and helped me identify the correct, and appropriate frame for my pieces. Some of them were gifts and the recipients loved the frame! I have the framed work in my home and office and they all look great. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, punctual and responsive. When I go to Chesapeake Framing I am always greeted with a smile and treated with professionalism. I keep going back because of the high quality work they do. Also, this year I had an issue with a photograph I wanted framed but was having trouble printing. Chesapeake Framing directed me to the appropriate resource who could fix my photo and get it printed. It was seemless to have that work done then take it to Chesapeake Framing. I would highly recommend their services.

The portraits are beautiful and elegantly done. The three paintings put into one frame needed a change to enhance their appearance and the appearance of the frame, so they are reframing it with some additional matting, for just the cost of the matting. I've used The Chesapeake Framing Co. before and have always found them easy to work with and very good at picking appropriate framing for pictures and works of art.

Chesapeake Framing Company framed two items for me; also, while I was there, there was a great art piece that I purchased and they framed it as well. They were very helpful in providing advice on the type of frames and mat to use.

great - we didn't know what kind of frame would work best for this print, but they did a great job of guiding the process and we are really happy with how it turned out. They had a slight delay because they were out of museum glass, but they called us to let us know, and to give us the new completion date a couple of days later, so we didn't waste our time going in before it was done. Great job, will definitely return to them, and was glad there was a coupon to help defray the costs.

They were very professional. Worked closely with me to get the framing option that best displayed each piece of art. I asked them to check to see if the final dimensions of the large framed piece would fit in my car. They did and discovered that it would not fit. Made arrangements to have the pieces delivered to my home upon completion. The pieces were completed before the due date; the framing is beautiful and sets off each piece perfectly.
