My experience at Chesapeake Framing Co. was outstanding. I went there because I had a coupon, and I will definitely return. The woman who helped me was professional, imaginative, and creative in dealing with my slightly damaged watercolor. She had good ideas and gave me great options, explaining everything clearly. The painting looks wonderful and she did not give me a hard time when I told her I had a coupon. She said, and quot;We treat all our customers the same.and quot; They even have free parking right in front of the shop, which makes carrying heavy art pieces very easy. I highly recommend them.

Generally a casual experience. She looked at my piece and flipped through the frame collection with suggestions while encouraging me to chime in if I liked anything in particular. Brought out a selection of matting and gave her own recommendations and rationale. She was pretty patient with me trying out the different combinations. Price was higher than I initially intended, but I did not like the lower cost options as much. Best touch however was that she photographed the back side of the piece where the artist had written an inscription and print #. She put a copy of the picture on the back of the frame.

First time customer discount helped with the cost. They have a very good eye for framing artwork. I would definitely use Chesapeake framing for future work.

Excellent selection of acid-free mats, protective glass, and a very wide variety of high quality moldings. Worked with us to frame and reframe a difficult project. Also kept in mind where it would be hung, etc. We selected this framer because of its reputation for high quality and trusted it with an original work. The results are aesthetically appealing, and will protect the art. It was costly, but the work was very high quality.

Kelly worked on each of these projects. Her guidance was invaluable and her suggestions really enhanced all the pieces. She chose frames and mats that complement the art work in beautiful and subtle ways. The work was completed pretty much on schedule. I highly recommend Chesapeake Framing and Kelly, who was very easy to work with.

I have used Chesapeake Framing over many years for a variety of projects. The staff there is easy to work with, with a great eye for detail. If you are not particularly artistic, or not sure of exactly what you want or what would look best, they're the ones to use. You won't be disappointed. Projects have always been ready when promised and in many cases, early.
